The Channel Guy is excellent. Everything about working with him was great: A very nice lady does the scheduling for him, and he shows up on time and gets the work done fast. What else could you ask for! I'm disappointed in Bob B's very unfair review, especially after reading the very professional response from the Channel Guy's business manager. read more

ATTEMPTED StarLink install... Terrible experience. They came to my home and had the wrong ladder so they left. Couldn't reschedule for the same day. So I figured it all out myself and if they had just walked around the house, they would've noticed a previous DIRECTV install bracket (already bolted into the house) that they could've used. I sent them a picture of it and they said they couldn't use it. But I'm literally writing this review from StarLink that I set up myself. For free! ! I've now got the entire thing setup by myself, and simply have to go to Home Depot in the morning and buy a few small things to make everything look neat. Most simple install ever. They did not research the project or even look at the height of my home. Super disappointing ! It's like any other business. When they get really busy, you' really find out how good they are at managing things. read more

Jose was quick to answer my request for a quote. After asking what type of roof, the satellite was on, and finding out my availability, he was there the very next day. In less than 10 minutes, Jose took down the satellite and filled the holes where the satellite had been attached to the roof. He even swept up everything and took the satellite with him. Great service, great price, great guy. Will recommend to anyone who is trying to get rid of their old satellite. read more

I just terminated my cable TV contract and wanted a television antenna installed. Jose did a great job and was able to use the existing coax cables which were previously used for my dish tv. I was also able to purchase the antenna from them directly. Now I am able to watch most of the over-the-air free channels and not pay a big cable bill anymore. Thanks again. read more

They were quick to respond and provide an estimate through pictures only. Price was a bit higher than other quotes.

This is a great, family owned company. They installed and grounded a LoRa antenna for me in a rather scary high place, very easily and pleasantly! Also cleaned up some loose coax/internet cables that were left as-is during some prior foundation and stucco work - and this was done much more affordably than the cable company would. Definitely highly recommended! read more

I spoke to Jose about needing to hook up my TV's with an antenna on my roof. Jose answered all of my questions and he came out two days later. He was a very kind and patient person who constantly explained to me the process about the work that he needed to perform. He placed the antenna on the roof of my home and hooked up four TV's and he did a fantastic job. My televisions are super clear and I am now receiving all of the local channels. I would definitely hire him again or refer him to friends and family because of the great work. He is also very reasonable. Thank you Jose and great job!!! read more

The technician knew what he was doing. He used a tv signal meter to determine where to re-locate my attic/outdoor antenna. The tv was working great after he installed the antenna on the roof and removed my Directv satellite dish. However, pricing wasn't transparent and kept changing. When I called and informed the company that I had already paid two other companies $290 combined, and they were able to do nothing, except take my money. J Fraire said in that case we'll charge only $45. Then, the technician said he'd have to install my antenna on the roof and that would cost $35 extra. I agreed to it, $80. Then, after he tested my antenna on the roof, he said, he'd need to sell me a more powerful antenna. I'd been using my antenna in the attic for four years, and it was only this past year that I began losing channels and experiencing pixilating. My other LG tv in my bedroom has its own attic antenna and works just fine. I agreed to the new antenna for the OLED tv in my living room, and the technician charged me a total of $260. He kept my four year-old antenna and took the satellite dish, saying he has a friend who collects old metal. At that point, I was just grateful to have my tv working again. read more

I am so very pleased to recommend J Fraire Satellites. I'm a senior, and still go "old school" for my TV entertainment. After having a new roof installed, I requested that J Fraire come and install a new "over-air" roof antenna. What a pleasant transaction! The best part was, they were honest enough to tell me that I didn't need a new antenna, just a repositioning of the old one! My 3 TV's were rescanned and now work good as new! I applaud them not only for excellent customer service skills..., but for their honesty. I've already told other friends about my experience. read more

Jose came to our house in Culver City and installed an OTA antenna on our chimney. Very quick, efficient, and inexpensive. He was very friendly as well, and took care of a few other little aesthetic matter involving our old antenna and some left over satellite brackets that had been there forever. I would totally recommend! He knew exactly where to point the antenna so we could get a maximum signal, and was really informative and great. I'd happily use him again, if I ever have the need! read more
