He came twice. He gave me very solid quotes. The prices were high. He didn't talk to me much about strategy or options for installing. I mean it was $21,000 labor only. Since I was buying the equipment myself as a general contractor and I did manage to get it done for $18,000 which is not a very big difference. It was just the fact that he could not allocate the number of people that I needed to get it done in a short timeline where the other contractor did get it done. Very nice guy. This review is for a simple three camera installation on an existing security camera system at a residence. I'm retired. The homeowner is a close friend of mine and had to work on the day of her scheduled appointment with Security Eco at her home. She reached out to me and asked that I supervise the installation in her absence. I was struck by how friendly and forthcoming that the technician from Security Eco was. Ibhar didn't try to upsell or add anything extra to the job. He patiently answered every question and was completely respectful during every conversation. My friend's home is immaculate and a "no shoes" policy is always enforced. Like he was a doctor entering an ER or a clean room, Ibhar put a pair of blue booties over his work boots every time he entered the residence. He was extremely careful to not bump or mar anything with his ladder when he carried it through the house up to the attic access panel. Anything he moved to make room to do his work was carefully replaced in its original place. Like he was never there. No mess. Every piece of stripped wire insulation, zip tie trimmed end, dropped screws or hardware, were all carefully accounted for and picked up. The homeowner arrived home from work before Ibhar departed. He walked her through the entire installation process. He showed her the new camera views on the monitoring terminal and explained step by step how use it. Multiple quotes were acquired before committing to the contract with Security Eco. They were not the least or most expensive. The price is one thing, but the value is everything. They provide goods and services to their clients that are competitively priced and come with a customer focus that I believe is a "gold standard". As is common with construction projects, there were a few hiccups along the way, but company owner Elihu stood behind his word of guaranteeing all work. One of the installers slipped in the attic and a foot and leg broke through the ceiling. By hiring someone to make repairs who specialized in interior construction work for a hotel Elihu promised to have the damage fixed so that the breakthrough would not even be noticed. And the repair was that good. After problems developed with the number of days of recording, Elihu replaced the whole camera system with an upgraded one, without additional charge; and months later replaced a camera that stopped functioning, also without additional charge. He is an honest man who reflects high ethical standards in his work. Our home security system was purchased at a reasonable price, and is working well now. Whenever possible, he would run the cables with minimal intrusion. This was still true for cable running in the patio. Edgar basically hided those CAT-6A cables such that they were barely visible. Now that my home is finally 10 Gbps ready and no more Ethernet cables running across the hallway to trip anyone.
