I work in a medical laboratory, and we're in the process of adding several new automated, high-volume laboratory instruments, which connect over TCP/IP and transmit a substantial amount of data to our LIS system. The network design we inherited was not optimal, so we were looking at improving the topology while adding capacity. I was looking at several vendors to run some fiber from our chemistry room and one existing IDF back to our server room / MDF. I looked at several vendors and wasn't impressed. I had a vendor I'd previously worked with, but they weren't as responsive as I'd liked. This project is moving fairly quickly, and we needed someone to do the work sooner than later. During the process, I found Fusion Networking and Technology. I reached out to them for a quote, and received a call back the same day. I spoke to Gaspar, who was friendly, professional, and pleasant to speak to and work with. He came out to do a job walk the following week (I had some WFH days and various meetings, so the delay was on me, not on them). We discussed ideas, and then he sent us a quote (which was a good price and very fair), and contacted me to schedule the job. We happened to be in the office working on a Sunday, and he wondered if he could come out the same Sunday and start the job, which was a real treat. Gaspar and Junior drove out, showed up on time, and got to work. During this work, they were very careful respectful of our facility and laboratory instruments, and cleaned up after themselves. They completed the job at about the time they were scheduled to finish, and tested everything to make sure the fiber was performing well. The installation was tidy, attractive, professional, well-labeled, and they even left us a few extra fiber jumpers, which we didn't even know we wanted or needed. I tested all the runs myself and everything was connected at 10 Gbps, as expected. Unfortunately, now, we have to tidy up / mine out the old 66 blocks, mushrooms, cross-connect cables that happen to be OUR mess (which we inherited) and look horrible compared to the awesome work they did! To say that Cristiano and Gaspar were superb is an understatement. I serendipitously came across their website after multiple IT guys were unable to figure out how to make all the televisions in my office work... and then it all changed when these two gentlemen came to the rescue. They really should wear a super-hero outfit because the network in my office has been impeccable since they fixed it. I then started having issues in my home. We have a two story home where the modem and router cannot access all areas of the house. I tried everything including placing EEROS extenders which only confused my devices with multiple WI-FI signals. We are not hard wired (except for a few random speakers that were in place before we ever moved in) and you can imagine how critical it is to be connected via WI-FI. Cristiano does not routinely set up homes because in a business setting there is much more flexibility in getting all the wiring through the removable ceiling panels whereas in a home drilling/cutting through drywall is typically required. Multiple other so-called experts were unable to solve our dilemma. I begged Cristiano to help me. Cristiano went above and beyond. He was supposed to only fix our internet issues but then I started talking to him about how we were not able to get our speakers in the home to work. He must have felt sorry for me and said he would "take a look". What seemed to be 10 hrs later and where others have given up....he patiently navigated a frankenstein monster of multiple components with different brand names, apps, some speakers hard wired some wireless and he got them all to communicate as naturally as a hungry Italian family gathered around a dinner table. I will forever be a fan. My husband loves music and the sound coming from the speakers was like tasting chocolate for the first time...but I digress...I recommend Cristiano and Gaspar without any hesitation. Fusion Networking was a gem of a find for our church facility in Malibu. We were installing an extensive and robust WiFi system over our entire campus and met with several potential suppliers to do the project. From first contact through gathering proposals, Cris and Gaspar stood above of the rest in terms of truly investigating our facility and understanding our goals. They were not pushing a cookbook solution but truly looked at how to optimally configure the system to support our requirements. After receiving their proposal, we were sold on going with Fusion. (As part of their scope of work, they also agreed to clean up the rats nest of a server room that had evolved over the years.) First steps were getting all the cabling run throughout the buildings and on the exterior walls. Gaspar was out with a crew that was competent, clean and went the extra distance to get the access point drops where they optimally needed to be. After that, Cris and his crew installed access points, cleaned up the server room, configured the network and showed us all we needed to know to operate the system. First test was the following Sunday where we had 100s of clients logged in and simultaneously streamed HD camera feeds back to our broadcast equipment. Everything was perfect! Later we needed to extend the wifi to an adjacent property. Cris installed and fine-tuned a wireless bridge providing high speed access 5x the speed of the prior equipment. We are now looking at engaging them for some upgrades to our servers as well as using them for any future IT support. On our move in day, he came back and connected the new line into our MPLS circuit. Everything came back online and we were up and running by the next day. I had a somewhat unique situation in that I manage a sorority house. While it's a residence, there are 46 women who live there, all streaming, etc... We also recently connected new security cameras, outdoor lighting, Nest thermostats, etc... that are using our Wifi. We were on overload and not getting quality service anywhere.
