David and his team at NextCom have always helped us bring IT and Telecom projects together and deliver at times borderline impossibilities. We have relied on business and residential telecom turn-key solutions from NextCom for as long as I remember and their friendly and focused service techs and sales team is always a pleasure to have. We at PCHelperTeam have been provided from internet T1 and E1 services with SLA and Digital VoIP Phone Systems from Polycom and Yealink to Cisco equipment and speaker phones to Analog Phone and Fax ATAs. Also we numerous times got tremendous help in Hybrid telephone systems and full local PBX traditional phone systems. They have provided us with low voltage cabling for COAX, security cameras and alarm, telephones and Cat5-Cat6 data in hundreds of projects over the years. David is always patient with all our at-times miniscule requests and customizations and we couldn't be more happy. Thank you for years of service and look forward to do more business together. TLDR: Kevin, Ruben, & Meg set the standard to be beat in customer service and professionalism…read more After being with them for 30 years for cellular, I had decided months ago to leave AT&T. I went in late on a Friday afternoon on a beautiful day, thinking it'd be quick and easy. It was not quick. It was, however, exceptional. I was greeted immediately by Ruben, who let me know from the get that it'd be about 20 minutes before someone could sit with me. He asked what I was in for and got me on the list. He looped back prepping me for what I needed so I could be ready when it was time. I logged into my ATT account and took screenshots of my statements, account, and plan details. Kevin was the guy assigned to work with me. I was clear about what I wanted, he was clear about T-Mobiles offering, and we were off to a good start. But then, we were met with challenges at every step of the way. AT&T did not make it easy for me to transfer. From getting the release PIN to porting the account over, we ran into hiccups and delays. Throughout the ENTIRE process Kevin was calm, patient, and unphased. A true professional. Ruben stopped in from time to time to check on us both as we progressed. I was astounded by Ruben's attentiveness on the floor, checking in with customers in progress as well as those walking in the door, consistently until his shift ended. They had a full house, and no one sat for more than two minutes without a hello. In the final stretch, I asked Kevin when his shift was up, He assured me we'd be done before the top of the hour. Turned out, AT&T had given me an account number that did not match on the back end in order to port the number over to the new carrier. We took it straight off of my invoice, it failed, Kevin and I contacted AT&T via the app to confirm, they confirmed, Kevin had to escalate up through T-Mobile to three-way patch a conversation with AT&T to get the correct account number - which was not, by the way, the account number I had on my invoice OR in the app. (SHADY!) All to say, Kevin's patience and professionalism all the way through our THREE HOURS together was unwavering. I walked in nervous about a carrier switch, I walked out converted to T-Mobile without one single regret. On the way out, I was able to thank Meg who was on the floor and had supported us through the entire fiasco. Wow, T-Mobile, if Kevin, Ruben, & Meg represent the quality you offer in service, they are bar none. Thank you to the T-Mobile Santa Monica team for one hell of a first experience with a new carrier that has me never looking back.

A bad policy adopted by one or everyone is still bad policy. My plan price dropped by more than half. It as that way for 9 months while i paid the old price. I had had calls with them and never was it mentioned we have a better plan / pricing for you if you're interested (many other companies ask this but not all). Only when i tried to cancel: The website MADE me call. Then of course they have wonderful pricing all of a sudden. Not only did they try to promote this dishonest practice, the level of attitude, i guess maybe they don't like it for a customer to criticize a policy. In any event..i'd rather pay more than the new price they finally offered than pay a clearly dishonest company any more money. My new plan is less than my original price with Frontier but more than what they offered to avoid my cancellation by $10/month. Money well spent. -sun 2026

Anyone thinking about switching to Frontier (by Verizon)? Do yourself a favor and don't…read more We switched to Frontier (by Verizon). What's mess. Worked for several months. Then out of the blue, zero services - no Internet (we have jobs and kids who need access for school) and since TV came over the line, none of that either. Every morning, noon and evening I'd get a text saying restoration of service by X (i.e. 4pm the same day). After a day or two that showed itself to be a straight lie. No human to talk to on the phone, either. This baiting fraud went on for two weeks until we switched back to Spectrum. They owed me $7.01 per their recurring bill and kept it for months and months instead of just sending me a check. Eventually they sent a prepaid MasterCard I never requested containing my $7.01 which, if I activated, screwed me over with annual fees, etc. I finally got in touch with someone in the Philippines who said they'd send me a check; haven't gotten it yet - been about a week. Frontier is about the worst company with which i've had the displeasure of doing business. Shady and unfair business practices at every turn, in my view. Stay always unless you're a masochistic glutton for punishment. Consider yourself warned.
