A few days ago I started to have issues with my phone, started experiencing popping and crackling. I don't use my landline that often but still need to because I live in the hills and sometimes can't get cell service! And I think my cable line were messed up as well we get a lot of pests up here, so I called a company I found on my fb Group where this company was referred to me S + W they came out fixed everything price was very reasonable and my problem was fixed in no time. In my home I had trouble hearing the doorbell when it rang. They suggested that we wire the doorbell to my new phone system. Karen took care of us and her knowledge about phone systems was amazing. I am usually one to do it myself but I am sure glad that I didn't take that route on this project. Karen dealt with the phone company, which she helped me to find, found a phone system that works great for my office, handled installation with the companies great staff of technicians, and didn't miss one detail. She made sure that our phone's buttons all have labels and made different labels for different phones as necessary. Karen had a solution for any imaginable problem that I had come up with. On installation day we didn't miss a call. Karen personally recorded the greetings for our answering machines, which work great. These days it is challenging to provide competitive service at a great price, and many companies advertise that they can offer just this. I must be the exception in this case. Although S&W was initially helpful, they have completely dropped the ball on me several times. I initially contacted them last winter to help remove a commercial phone system installed in my new home. They did that fine (that's why they got more than one star). However, I also needed them to help me with a new doorbell/entry intercom system. This is there the problems started. While they would be helpful on the phone, communication was very erratic, and, in fact, months would go by with no communication whatsoever. So much time passed between calls that when the tech finally came back to my house to install the intercom, he had forgotten what type of intercom I required. He brought the wrong one. It's been a month since that guy showed up, and there has been radio silence since then. Maybe these guys are just doing so well that they can afford to not care about smaller jobs. I finally heard from Steve, the owner of S&W. I appreciate his input, although it took a LONG time for him to get back to me. Trying to get a doorbell/gate system compatible with pre-existing wiring has been more frustrtating than I could have ever imagined. read more
