My C-drive storage on my Windows 10 was almost filling up. I was trying to figure out ways to add room, like cleaning out temp and hidden files. I was constantly doing this daily to no avail, and I finally decided to try and find a place locally to hopefully fix my problem. So I did a search for a computer repair place, and MacRepair4U came up, and I took my hard drive there. I met with Joseph. He did a fantastic job! He actually copied my hard drive and upgraded it to a terabyte, which was awesome! Now, if I have any other issues, I'm definitely going to go back and have him update it,probably to Windows 11,and maybe I'll have to add additional storage. So in 2021 I came to this place of business to increase the memory on my computer. That was the initial problem. Next thing you know my screen fell twice! The second time the glass shattered and damaged the CPU. I told the guy what happened and he said it's my fault because I was probably playing loud music and it caused vibrations and I've had my computer for years and this never happened and was never the issue until I got it repaired by this business! I said whatever I need my computer for work so I paid him multiple times to fix his mistake. Then he gave me another computer with issues and it's now not even starting! All I wanted was my memory increased and this is the issues I'm dealing with. So then I got another computer he said it was the same and he lied and he gave me a computer that's years older than my original. I've been contacting him for months with no response. All I wanted was my memory expanded and this has been a nightmare! Just go to Apple and save some time and money! I will not recommend this business to my worst enemy! Sorry Yelp, you got this one wrong. I saw the 5 star reviews and felt confident bringing my MacBook here for a new battery but my experience has been very disappointing. I paid $150 for him to replace the battery with what appears to be an even worse battery than I had. The first battery he provided did not work at all and only held a charge for 1 hour until a "service battery" warning. I returned the next day: The second battery he installed does not hold a charge for more than 2 hours and jumps from 75% to 23% in minutes. When I asked for info about the batteries he used, he refused to tell me whether the battery was new/used and who the manufacturer was. He just said that it's a working battery but he was unable to provide a box, receipt, warranty or any info related to the "new" battery he installed. I continued to have problems and after several texts, many of which he responded to days later, his solution was to restart my computer (which of course did nothing). I wound up wiping the computer and reinstalled my whole OS and the battery still fails. In fact, even when it's plugged in, it loses a charge. He also put some kind of sticker on my screen which left residue I haven't been able to remove. To this day, several weeks later, the battery does not charge properly and does not hold a charge. I paid $150 and I'm in a worse situation than I was before I took my computer here. Also, he also refused to provide a receipt despite several requests and when I asked him repeatedly to fix the battery, he told me that I was outside of the 30-day window that he guarantees (even though I reported that it wasn't working within that window). His failure to prove that the battery he installed was new and his refusal to provide me with a receipt are two big red flags. I'm worse off and $150 poorer for bringing my computer here. I should have paid a little bit more to have Apple do it, at least they would have given me a receipt and stood behind their work. read more

I have a fairly high end PC that I believed was shorting out because it was turning off. Joseph is friendly and answers all your questions. He's like your local trustworthy mechanic but for computers. I have an older macbook that had stopped turning on. I took it to joseph and he was able to identify the battery needed replacement and to fix a part of the motherboard. It cost $400 total. He was able to fix it in one day. Joesph told me that if any issues come up to let him know right away. The next day i received it, i noticed it was still having some issues. He was very reassuring and trustworthy with his advice so I didn't hesitate to message him once there was issues again. So, I told him and gave it back to him. Within another day, he was able to fix it again. There must have been another issue with the battery so he reinstalled another one. That did the trick and my computer is new again. It's comforting knowing the person working on your computers is a good person and is doing what's right instead of a big company looking to rip you off. I won't hesitate to go back if my computer or someone close to me has issues. He also seems to respond quicker over a call vs texting just fyi. read more

Joseph Abbas is a FRAUD. A polite fraud, but a scammer nonetheless. I'm so frustrated that I ever went to this person for a repair. About a year ago, I reached out to Joseph for a screen repair because my MacBook screen would fall back. He "fixed it" and a few months later, I still had problems with my screen wiggling and blacking out. So, I took it to him again and he "fixed it" and literally 2 weeks later, it was still wobbly. I asked him what he can do, and he suggested I come back for a full screen replacement, to pay hundreds on top of what I paid. Mind you, I'm already over $500 in for this screen and now he wants more to replace it. I took it to the Apple Store today, because it will shut down for no reason until I plug it in, and it thinks it's dead when it's not. They confirmed it's my screen, surprise surprise. Joseph cost me hundreds of dollars and never resolved my issue and if anything, made my screen WORSE!! Hundreds down the drain for nothing. Update: I did not break my screen again, Joseph. I'm not playing hockey with it. All I do is type. My screen was experiencing problems with blacking out. I came to you. I received it, and a couple months later, I realized it wasn't screwed in right, because it was wobbly and fell back without support. I had to wait months to bring it back to you because I was traveling. When I brought it back, you "fixed it", and although the screen doesn't fall back, it still wobbles. When I reached out again, you wanted me to come back for another repair. I took it to Apple and they told me it's a screen problem. It's always been the same underlying issue, and when I brought it to you, it was not a one stop shop approach, and I'm not going to keep coming back.
