He went above and beyond to figure out what was going on with my laptop and even ordered another separate power brick (on his own dime) just to see if it was that. He found the problem, called the manufacturer for the replacement part and gave a fair price for the part + labor. I ultimately did not go through with the repair as I decided to buy a PC. I took it to Planet Cyber to see if they could fix it. They charged me $160, got it working and told me that the problem was that I bought the wrong RAM. They took out one of the sticks and gave it back to me. I thought that was overpriced, but at least they got it working. I recently went to upgrade it and come to find out the motherboard had a bad part all along. If Planet Cyber had told me that, I could have got my motherboard replaced under warranty.
