Once more they came through when we needed them. Over the years these people have provided IT service for my business. I have purchased 4 generations of hardware through them, from DOS computers until windows 11. Day before yesterday , there was a blackout and the subsequent surge damaged and interrupted our network of 18 computers. After trying to fix it until 8 pm remotely, he concluded that there must be a damage to a hardware piece. He promised he would send someone the next day. By 11 am , a guy came with new switches , routers and modems under his arm , in case he had to change any of them. We got away with just changing the switch and in couple if hours , we were up and running. It is really good to have people like this. Great guys, with a lot of knowledge, and they share it. When I needed additional RAM for using pro tools with my Mac, most Internet sources said that 16GB was maximum possible. Jeff knows the systems well enough, and has built enough music systems, that he knew those "specs" weren't true. So my 16GB computer ended up being 32GB, and now it has the response I need with heavy music demands. This past weekend, Jason clarified speed and update problems on another computer of mine. It's a computer I use for teaching Microsoft Office online, so it needs to work well. Easygoing, ready help that is surprising and just what I hope to find when I need it. I want to preface this review by saying I HAVE refurbished and built new computers myself. That being said, I went in looking for an inexpensive computer for a very specific purpose and already knew more or less what I was looking for. The man who assisted me listened to what I needed the computer for, recommended me a great choice for a more than fair price and did not try to upsell me into purchasing a computer with some absurd amount of power that I did not need. Firstly, I want to say that Jeff, the owner, seems to be a very nice guy with good intentions and he was very helpful in fulfilling my computer tower order. I also know I'm probably small fry compared to the larger businesses he caters to. However, he unfortunately is the one that is held accountable for any actions that negatively impact his company. I barely write bad reviews of any business. A business has to have done something pretty wrong for that to occur. That being said, I was sold a desktop HP i5 computer to the company I work for that lasted literally 2 1/2 weeks. It was the hard drive. I wanted a hard drive upgrade (which cost an additional $99) from the previous hard drive, which they did. I believe that the hard drive they installed was used. Brand new hard drives just don't last 2 weeks than crap out. Just doesn't happen. The stringent tests they must endure before being sold to consumers ensures quality control. The tower itself was pretty decent (I guess, maybe that would've crapped out a couple weeks later. Don't know). If the hard drive hadn't failed, I wouldn't be writing this review. All of the data was irretrievable - we tried. We hired a reputable company to try and retrieve the files but the HD was literally fried. The computer was plugged into a backup battery with major surge protection (we learned from years past, the hard way), so it was protected from any electrical issues on our end. So I called him and let him know what happened. He at first said there were no returns. I don't think he looked at the bottom of the receipt where it clearly stated "all returns subject to a 20% restocking fee." So we returned it. I would've given them one star but the problem that occurred wasn't one that was over the top; it was just bad judgement by whoever swapped that hard drive out and made the unwise decision to put in a used hard drive. BAD idea. To put a company's reputation on the line just to save $40-50 is frankly asinine. Because of this experience, I will never recommend their computers. They've completely lost my trust and faith in their ability to sell quality computers or computer parts. read more

I bought a computer here because I hate the mac store at the mall. But that's another story. They were professional and attentive. They got me a great deal. It was a new mac, but last year's model, and I saved $1000. I will definitely be buying all my computers there and taking them in for repairs. Quality service and a great price. If you are thinking of going to the mac store at the Topanga Mall, I would skip it. There's a huge wait and everyone is really busy and they barely have time for you. Somehow I turned off things I shouldn't have I did a clean install of windows 10 pro but my audio and wifi were not working at all. These guys are truly geniuses. I have been having problems with my computer for the past 5 months. I have paid another computer tech guy an arm and a leg and he was not able to remove the viruses out of my system. This review is long overdue. Actually my relation with these people started long before Internet, Google or Yelp. The first machine I got from them was a free standing PC running DOS. Our first network was two peer to peer PCs connected with a coax cable, running on Windows 3. Then windows 95 rolled out. Over the years in the 90s when processor speed kept on improving, I kept upgrading my computers from Jason and Payam. They always had the latest technology at a reasonable price. In fact the access to newest technology was so easy through them that I felt confident and comfortable to turn my office to a completely paperless office as early as 1997. I had the very first totally paperless office when I moved to my new facilities in 1998. Raven people supplied all the hardware and set up the network for me. Jason later set me up with my own e-mail server, phone tracking server and security camera server. We have upgraded our main data server once. Few years ago, we needed to add more space to our server and they just added two more hard drive to my server and we were up and running the next day. Over a year ago, an electrical short in our building put number of my computers out of commission. It was an emergency situation and as always, Payam and Jason came through. They worked 24 hours non stop to restore my data and get us going again. The most convenient and awesome thing about them is that they know my router, server, modem and any other thing that needs password and username so that I don't need to remember any of them! They have remote access to my servers, so that anytime something needs updating (and something ALWAYS need updating), they would do it remotely. It is like having a full time IT person on staff, and sometimes in the evenings and weekends too. I started by buying hardware from them but as everything has become digital, they have branched out to other aspects of digital world as well. They are my go to people for everything and anything digital. Just a few weeks ago, I needed to upgrade the security system at my house and they came through with a digital DVR and cameras to go with them. All in all having them as our "digital advisor and supplier" has worked out very convenient for us. They are very trustworthy and I hope they stay around as long as I am in business. read more
