These guys are amazing! My very expensive custom built computer fell and broke during a move. I was in the middle of a job for a client and it had all my data one it!! They were able to transfer that data I needed to an external hard drive in a day (it was about 500 gbs of stuff) and build me a new computer at a very reasonable rate! They also helped my mom out with her computer that died. They said it wasn't worth fixing, transfer off the data and get a new computer that was for her needs. We were both very happy with the results. I realized now I should have gone with a different video card but I didn't have the time to do my research then. They are very resposive about questions to make sure the new card I want is compatible with this system. Once I get my new card (Nvidia), they can install it and reconfigure my computer in half a day and buy back the other card (AMD) since I just bought this computer a few months ago. I needed laptop repair, but my go-to guy in the Valley was no longer doing repairs. When I requested a quote for the repair work. Computer Palace, and specifically Navid, responded very promptly. And the quote he gave me (parts and labor) were notably lower than I had anticipated (I frankly had no idea how much this repaid would cost me). Other places that came up in requesting a quote took over 24 hours to respond even though their listings said 3 hours (or similar). Anyway, I dropped off my laptop Thursday noonish and was told they would probably have it ready by the first thing the next morning. Less than two hours later I got a call that the work was done! Unfortunately, I have to update my initial review. Less than one year after having my screen repaired, I began to experience the same issue with LED backlights not working. I reached out to Navid and he said that his warranty is only good for 2 months. He offered me a $95 discounted future repair and 4 month warranty, which honestly, does not feel worth it anymore, considering this could easily happen again. The webcam stopped working a couple months into the repair, but I ignored it because I was still happy with the overall screen functionality. However, this issue paired with the screen not living up to one measly year shows me the poor quality of the product/service provided. I can no longer vouch for the quality of this service. I did an online search and I'm so happy I chose to go to Computer Palace. I called on Saturday morning, November 2, 2024, brought in my 2011 MacBook Air the same day, and it was ready for pick up on Tuesday. I told Fred I think the computer has a corrupted disk and / or something was wrong with my start up disk. He explained to me the various options there might be to repair it, as well as the costs involved. He called me on Tuesday and said it's ready and the total cost is $90.00. They were nice and always called to give updates so you knew what was happening. When I received my laptop, the 0 key on the keyboard was mysteriously missing though so I had to order a new one. They didn't find the key in their shop but found me an eBay listing where I could buy it and it fit perfectly, just disappointed about the extra money I had to pay because of that. read more
