Had a malfunctioning problem with my laptop. Went to this place at Wilshire and La Brea, and they asked for $165 including the back up of my files. Obviously I was frustrated and started to search for a better option. Olympic Computer only asked for $49 including the backup option. This is less than 1/3 of the price from the previous place. This place mainly caters to Korean customers but I encourage you to pay a visit. Pice, one of the most competitive. Service, extemely professional and quick. Awesome experience. Wonderful! My used laptop screen wouldn't turn on. It was Sunday. I went to Staples "Easy Tech" (insert air quotes" and paid $150 for diagnostic. What a waste. I came here and they did the diagnostic and just charged me $80 for everything! Sweet! The computer doctor here is wonderful. read more

Wish I could give 0 star. I really don't understand all the good reviews here because the service I received is horrible horrible horrible! I have been coming to these guys for a long time since I bought my computer from them back in 2013. After that I went to them twice. First time was 4 months ago when my power supply exploded. They told me I have to replace the whole thing and charged me $70. But not until today that I found out the "new" one they gave me is actually a refurbished one which is manufactured in 2012. Second time I went to them was 3 weeks ago because my hard disk would keep making noise, also I wanted to format my windows and clean the fan. They told me I have to leave the computer with them to get it checked. When they called me after 2 days, I was told that, they formatted my system but they didn't replace the hard disk because it wasn't "necessary" as it would still work and "nothing wrong" with it. As of the fan, they did not clean it properly at all. Only thing they did was to shake the fan a couple times but all the dust was still in there! When I asked them if they have cleaned it, they gave me a positive answer and charged me 50 bucks for this "full service". Then today, my computer suddenly stopped working at all and my hard disk just died completely. Apparently it was already broken at the time I took it to this shop, but they chose to not acknowledge me this. Now that I have to pay more money to get a new hard disk and get a new system installed. I feel like the first $50 I have spent in their shop was a completely ripped off and not necessary at all!! Why are these guys so dishonest to their customers??? They use old and used parts to fix your computer but charge you a price as if they were brand new and they don't tell you what problems your computer really has. The second hand parts might last for a short period of time but eventually it will break down again. So be careful people! Try avoid this place at all cost if you could! Don't get fooled by them again like I did :( read more

I found this out when i was having my pc repaired and they were all talking about it. Very dishonest business if you ask me. I was trying to find a shop to repair my failed hard drive. I figured I would need to buy a new hard drive and then use the disc that came with my laptop to install the OS the way it was before :) but apparently i didn't realize that I needed the real windows 7 disc... fail so i took it to this place, fairly in the neighborhood of mine so i told them what my situation was... don't know the guy's name but he seemed cold for some reason... just not friendly... I had questions to ask and he seemed very annoyed (maybe i made him to repeat) but heartless since he was dealing with a customer... and the pricing... i believe there was $39 option and $59... and he recommended $59 one... i took it and later realized $39 would have been okay... but they fixed the computer about 4 hours later and called me to pick it up... it was Friday after work, there was so much traffic and i needed to get there by 7 but couldn't so i went the next day to pick it up... all in all, he explained what was wrong briefly and came back home with windows 7 installed and everything and i had to download the computer drivers on my own tho... anyways, they could have been more friendly or otherwise it was okay.. i would try other place as well tho read more
