Usually when my iPhone screen breaks, I buy a repair kit off of Amazon and my dad changes the screen. This time, however, my dad had trouble prying off the broken screen off of my iPhone 7. He, then said that he's afraid of breaking it if he applies more force, so I better find a pro. So I sent out a request for a quote to a few places, asking to give me a "labor only" quote because I would be bringing my own repair kit with the screen & tools. A few places said they only use their parts. Most places gave me a labor only quote though. This place sent me the best quote - $30. So I came in, waited about 1/2 hr - they got a nice couch & coffee table and got my phone back - as good as new! They used the glass & protector from the kit. Great service and price, strongly recommend! Update: a couple weeks later, my phone took a swim. However, the screen seal was re-applied as good as new because after I turned it off and let it dry in a bag of rice for a day, it's working fine. read more

After 2 whole years, and a 100 drops later- my little baby iPhone 4 screen finally cracked. AHHH! Dropped it off on the way to the beach on a Saturday, picked it up a few hours later and viola, new pretty screen! I should have known better and gone to apple. I brought my phone here with a cracked screen and was told the fix would be about 1/2 hour and $200 cash. Reasonable, so I said OK and went to go eat Pollo Campero (delicious). When i returned I handed over my cash and was told to check out my phone, I did and it didn't recognize my faceID to unlock, but I thought OK, I'll just reset it, the work seems good so I'm sure it was just a reset needed. I was wrong. the Dot projector no longer worked on my phone. This is like taking your car in for an oil change and not being told that after the change MAYBE the windshield wipers might not work! It's information that might make me think twice! When I called I was told that because there was damage to the front of the phone, that the FaceID wouldn't work again - why I wasn't told that before the fix was done I don't know. I returned and had to haggle for some of my money back (for a full refund he'd replace the screen with my old broken one). I decided to keep the half working phone and got $40 back. This morning I looked and now have a green spot in the lower right hand corner of the screen. Overall a really bad experience. Go somewhere else unless you want to have work done that only half fixes the problem and goes bad the next day. read more

BEST PHONE REPAIR EVER!!! I rarely leave yelp reviews, but this shop so deserves one, here I'm in yelp right after the awesome repair. Upon walking in, you will just like the guy (sorry, I didn't get the name). You will just want to trust him. He just really looks like that hahahah. When I first called the shop, he was very knowledgeable and thorough, I didn't even look any more. This shop was the second place I called. The first place gave me an estimate of $65 and 2hrs for my repair. Here he said $20 and 20mins. When I called back a week later to actually come in (I'm pretty far from LA), and he remembered the call, so I didn't have to explain the problem again. While waiting for the repair, I was thinking maybe he said $50 because it pronounces similar to $20 in Korean because his job looked so detailed. I was like, that's fine it looks worth $50. Well, it was $20 after all! He is an angel, he also replaced my cracked screen protector with a really professional looking one (somehow the design is different) at no extra charge. Now that I found this place, I will never debate about buying an insurance. I was pretty sad because I always had an insurance and nothing ever happened, but then with this new phone I didn't buy an insurance for the first time and my phone broke for the first time as well.
