Usually when my iPhone screen breaks, I buy a repair kit off of Amazon and my dad changes the screen. This time, however, my dad had trouble prying off the broken screen off of my iPhone 7. He, then said that he's afraid of breaking it if he applies more force, so I better find a pro. So I sent out a request for a quote to a few places, asking to give me a "labor only" quote because I would be bringing my own repair kit with the screen & tools. A few places said they only use their parts. Most places gave me a labor only quote though. This place sent me the best quote - $30. So I came in, waited about 1/2 hr - they got a nice couch & coffee table and got my phone back - as good as new! They used the glass & protector from the kit. Great service and price, strongly recommend! Update: a couple weeks later, my phone took a swim. However, the screen seal was re-applied as good as new because after I turned it off and let it dry in a bag of rice for a day, it's working fine. read more

After 2 whole years, and a 100 drops later- my little baby iPhone 4 screen finally cracked. AHHH! Dropped it off on the way to the beach on a Saturday, picked it up a few hours later and viola, new pretty screen! I should have known better and gone to apple. I brought my phone here with a cracked screen and was told the fix would be about 1/2 hour and $200 cash. Reasonable, so I said OK and went to go eat Pollo Campero (delicious). When i returned I handed over my cash and was told to check out my phone, I did and it didn't recognize my faceID to unlock, but I thought OK, I'll just reset it, the work seems good so I'm sure it was just a reset needed. I was wrong. the Dot projector no longer worked on my phone. This is like taking your car in for an oil change and not being told that after the change MAYBE the windshield wipers might not work! It's information that might make me think twice! When I called I was told that because there was damage to the front of the phone, that the FaceID wouldn't work again - why I wasn't told that before the fix was done I don't know. I returned and had to haggle for some of my money back (for a full refund he'd replace the screen with my old broken one). I decided to keep the half working phone and got $40 back. This morning I looked and now have a green spot in the lower right hand corner of the screen. Overall a really bad experience. Go somewhere else unless you want to have work done that only half fixes the problem and goes bad the next day. read more

POORLY RUN AND BAD RESULTS :( Fabian Kim, the only person there, runs a BORDERLINE SCAM OPERATION. LET ME EXPLAIN: I had a 3 month old apple iphone that battery drained hyper-fast. I went into this store about 6 times over the course of 2 weeks (I live close to the store, and he was the most convenient for service) because my phone was left out in the sun and drained the battery life even after recharging. The first time I came in he took my phone apart to change my battery, only to realize he did not have any batteries. He broke my screws at that change, and told me he would put on two new screws and give me a 10 dollar discount. I thought that was fair, but then after 3 trips to check in over the course of the next weeks, the battery was never available (this is for an iphone mind you, not hard to find a battery). He always told me it would be in the following day. Finally he said he had it (never called me but I had to go in). But...it wasn't in a package, it was put in from a scrap of iphone parts that were sitting to his side. The first battery did not work, so then he pulled out another iphone from a pile of iphones, and began dissassembling it. He took out the battery of the dissassmbled Iphone and transferred to mine. He told me to go home and charge it all night. He also gave me two after market phillip brand screws, and screwed my phone back together. Turns out, the philip aftermarket screws would void my 1 year warrnty with apple when I brought it to them weeks later (spoiler alert: Fabian never fixed my battery problem. Had to bring to apple store to fix his mistakes weeks after). His battery swap did not fix the problem, and I went back and told him, and he told me he had ran out of batteries again. At that point, after my 6th trip to him, I decided that there was no way he was going to fix my problem, short of the cost of replacing it all together. I had spent enough time and money!!!! THIS IS NOT JUST A POORLY OPERATED PLACE, IT IS A SCAM OPERATION THAT TAKES ADVANTAGE OF IPHONE USERS WHO NEED HELP. I DO NOT BELIEVE THEY HAVE THE EXPERIENCE TO DO MUCH MORE THAN REPAIR IPHONE GLASS, BUT ARE DECEIVING PEOPLE INTO THINKING THEY ARE HARDWARE-SOFTWARE and PHONE SPECIALISTS.
