They fixed my cracked screen, but broke face recognition so that my phone would no longer unlock with face recognition, plus my phone was doing all kinds of weird stuff. I took it to Apple and was told they had messed up the hardware and there was no way to fix it, so I ended up having to order a brand new phone. Do not go here unless you can afford a new phone. On top of it, I tried to update my original review after I found out they broke some hardware in my phone, but they tried to bury my updated review. I have since deleted my original review so that they don't highlight it and mislead others. Do NOT use this service. Joey is a dishonest business owner who did more damage to my phone than help to it. My phone screen needed replacing and by the end of my dealings with Joey he had rendered my entire phone completely unusable! My iPhone X was less than a year old and in perfect function aside from a few cracks on the front and back of the screen. I brought my phone in to Joey who told me that he would have it fixed in a couple hours. I gave him the entire day and by the time I came back he told me that not only was it not done but he had POPPED my battery trying to replace the back screen. I had to come back twice more that day and he still hadn't completed the work. For a week after my phone would not stop glitching: my Face ID was broken, and the accuracy on my screen was shot to hell, and the old battery he replaced it with would not hold a charge for more than 3 hours. I brought it in AGAIN after he told me he would give me a brand new battery and the new battery was EVEN WORSE. I took it back a couple days later but when I got there he said he wouldn't order a new one, and all of the batteries he did have were "terrible batteries from China that work well for about a month then die." I now have to buy a new phone all together because of his ineptitude and dishonesty. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Go literally anywhere else at the cost of convenience or price as it will prevent you from having to deal with a business owner who is more concerned with taking your money than with costumer service. read more

I walked out of Express LA iPhone yesterday a very happy customer My mom had bought an iPhone from a friend and it wouldn't work until the operating system was updated. We went to T-Mobile twice ( our carrier) and they couldn't help. Absolutely the worse customer service I've ever experienced. I took an iPhone and an iPad to be repaired (screens). The iPhone was repaired. The iPad was taken in and I was told it would take a day. Then 3 days. Then I was told multiple times to "give him a couple more days", then he began dodging my calls and texts until eventually he asked me to come by to pick it up. He said it would be ready by 5. I arrive at 5 and he hadn't even started. He said the screen did not fit. The iPad had no screen, it was just the case now since he threw away the screen and he had the audacity to ask me to wait outside while he looked for another broken screen to give me.
