I wish I could give these guys 5,000 stars! I seriously can't say enough good things about Mac EZPC and especially Mitchell. His openness, honesty, professionalism, and ability to tell me exactly what to expect from the beginning really stood out to me. Before coming here, I took my MacBook to Apple and then to another reputable repair shop. Both basically told me the same thing -- my logic board was fried, the repair would be extremely complicated, and replacing the entire logic board was probably the only realistic option. The other shop didn't even have confidence they could repair it. Luckily, I was referred to Mac EZPC, and these guys completely surprised me. Mitchell explained everything clearly and gave me straightforward pricing based on my MacBook model. No trying to figure out how badly I needed my computer or how much I was willing to spend. Their philosophy was basically simple: we fix it, you pay the agreed price; if we can't fix it, you don't pay. I really respected that. And THEY FIXED IT!! Instead of just replacing the logic board, their team actually had the experience and skill to repair the logic board itself and bring my MacBook back from the dead. This was a huge deal for me because this laptop contained years of files and important business data. They saved me from paying an exorbitant amount for professional data recovery AND from having to purchase a new logic board. Looking back, I'm actually glad the other shop gave me my laptop back instead of attempting the repair. The pricing there felt like they were trying to size up how much I could afford and how desperate I was to recover my computer. With Mitchell and his team, I never got that feeling. Their pricing was simple and upfront, and they delivered exactly what they said they would. These guys are TRUE Mac experts. Apple may call their technicians "Geniuses," but after seeing what this team was able to do when Apple basically told me the logic board needed to be replaced, I know where I'm taking my computers from now on. Mitchell and the entire team -- THANK YOU! You guys seriously saved me a ton of money, but more importantly, you saved years of data that I thought I might lose. My iMac computer started getting slow due to heavier usage of AI tools. I upgraded from 8gb of ram to 64 gb of ram on my iMac and replaced my failing Fusion Drive with a SSD hard drive. My computer seems to be operating really fast now with no visible lag so far, when my computer started lagging a lot previously. I got a thing to plug my old hard drive that's failing into but I haven't tried that out yet. Service was fast. Took computer in Thursday afternoon and it was done by Monday around lunch. I needed to get a battery replacement for my mid 2015 macbook pro and I called a few places and all them said it couldn't be done. WOW. I came in with a broken macbook air screen, and was so astonished at their prices I ended up buying a laptop for my girlfriend. Her old one has been broken for ages and we've been saving up for a decent replacement, but Mac EZPC had such insane bargain prices--I got an EliteBook G8 with a terabyte of storage (retails at Walmart for $850) for less than HALF that! And on top that--Mitchell replaced my screen in TWENTY MINUTES for less than half of what Apple would have charged to do it in 1-2 weeks! TLDR: I totally recommend this place. Worth the price and value. Great service and customer support. I brought my laptop in to be serviced by Christian. One of the USB C ports on my MacBook Pro stopped working. Charging cable shorted and ruined the port. I was quoted around $800 at Apple, and literally no other computer repair shop answered my calls or voicemails left. Christian picked up the phone first try, and was able to squeeze me in the same day. I was quoted a very reasonable price (more than half of what Apple offered). The laptop needed some extra time to repair which was totally ok, as the quality of service I received was incredible. My laptop was returned to me in like new condition and I have no issues with it now. I really recommend this place and will definitely be coming back for other laptop/electronics issues I have.
