Fairly priced, quick service! Got my screen replaced on my MacBook Pro 2023 in less than an hour for less than the Apple Store

TLDR: I totally recommend this place. Worth the price and value. Great service and customer support. I brought my laptop in to be serviced by Christian. One of the USB C ports on my MacBook Pro stopped working. Charging cable shorted and ruined the port. I was quoted around $800 at Apple, and literally no other computer repair shop answered my calls or voicemails left. Christian picked up the phone first try, and was able to squeeze me in the same day. I was quoted a very reasonable price (more than half of what Apple offered). The laptop needed some extra time to repair which was totally ok, as the quality of service I received was incredible. My laptop was returned to me in like new condition and I have no issues with it now. I really recommend this place and will definitely be coming back for other laptop/electronics issues I have. Thanks for the great experience!! read more

Great service. They fixed my 2019 Lenovo quickly and for a great price. I had this same laptop fixed a few years ago in West Hollywood (same issue) for 3x the price. These guys are communicative and efficient. Also, the store has vibey music. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Drinking my early morning coffee while being cramped at a small desk, I reached over to grab a pen and boom coffee all over my laptop and keyboard. I panicked and was trying my best to dry it out with napkins and shut down the computer immediately. Screaming at myself for placing the coffee cup next to the computer, I'm an idiot and now I would need to spend a lot of money to repair this laptop. After looking and calling MacBook repair sites all over downtown LA I stumbled upon Ezpc MacBook Repair. They walked me through the steps to take to make sure my laptop did not get destroyed. They were able to suction out all the coffee and return my laptop to me in fantastic condition the following day. If I could give them over 5 stars I would. Everyone was helpful and it cost me around $95 for the repair! The staff who returned my laptop even informed me if an issue came up a few weeks later bring it back and they would take a look at it for no additional cost. It's been about 5 months since the incident and I have not had a single issue! read more

Thank you so much for fixing my laptop!!! Great service and im so thankful. I've come here twice and the service is always great.

I was expecting the basics but Chris went above and beyond. I needed my charger port repaired (it couldn't charge at all) and the screen was also messed from using the wrong cleaning method. Chris assured me he could fix these issues in a few hours (overnight since I arrived around 5pm). He also recommended another fix for overall performance that I was excited to include. Not only did Chris give me a very reasonable deal, but he fixed everything I mentioned...even my headphone jack issue which wasn't on the invoice. I really, really appreciate all the work Chris did. My laptop has been working perfectly! read more

My 2015 Macbook had been diagnosed with needing a new logic board, and I took it to EZPC to get the logic board repaired, after reading some of the incredible reviews on Yelp. And, EZPC lived up to them! Chris quoted me an extremely reasonable price for the replacement logic board and repair and even provided a loaner laptop since I use my Macbook for work. Before EZPC, I took my laptop to another place for an assessment. They quoted me a price significantly higher then EZPC, with no guarantee that it would work. I will never go back to any other shop, and will only visit EZPC for my computer needs any future laptop repairs. I fully give Chris and his team at EZPC my highest recommendation for any computer issues. In addition to their great work, they are incredibly honest and friendly! read more

Hi all , Let me share my experience with Mac Ezpc ,chris and the owner. They are totally scammers. I had broken piece in my logic board (transistor) ,(imac 2017) I called them to fix it for me so they said we can do it and need to be send to us with power supply and memory. After I sent it to them , they have charged me 110$ 1- the have make horrible fix 2- the stolen my rams 3- they broken my graphics card adapter and then they have shipped to me as its function , I immediately noticed that the graphics adapter is broken and sent them picture on the delivery, of course they said its not our mistake , I took the hole imac to their shop in order to fix their mistake . Chris said yes we broke and you will pay in order for us to fix it, we will charge you another 170$ , and they said will fix it with 5 days , in the end after 15 days after more than 5 calls to chris and his boss with very bad attitude they said we will not fix it for you because you called so many times I just want to let you know , do not even think to send your computer their , they will use it for something else and they are totally scammers . I have documented everything and I will start a case in BBB. The total loss I have is 600$ , If I would repair the issue with apple it self it won't take more than 300$ . Replaying for Chris , you are such a lair , check the last picture i have added , 1- i never threaten anyone of you 2- you told me 2 to 5 days the iMac will be ready , after 15 days without any update i called checking on the status , and found some one telling me am the owner and i don't like you and i will not fix it , WOW , what an attitude , over all , you have broken it and am in my way to report it to the Consumer affair , don't worry i will not keep watching people got scammed like me read more

I had an extremely successful, positive experience at EZPC! I called one morning around 10am and explained that there was an issue with my MacBook Pro computer screen. After explaining to Chris what had happened, he immediately told me I needed to replace my computers LCD screen, (as everyone else I had talked to had told me). He told me to come by anytime and he would install and replace it for under $500, which was an average cost. I brought my computer to him 20 minutes after we got off the phone, and my computer was completely fixed and back to normal within just a few hours!!!! I COULD NOT BELIVE IT. Everyone else had given me an estimate of about 5-7 business days. EZPC was THE ONLY place, out of about 15+ shops that I contacted, who had the correct computer screen replacement I was looking for. I am so happy and incredibly grateful for the fast and efficient work of Chris at EZPC. Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more

First off, you know how incredibly expensive it is to just get a MacBook Screen fixed it's ridiculous! After going through so many places and getting quotes! These guys are reasonable , nice and quick! They aren't just trying to get their buck they really give you options for every type of customer!! Again thank you so much to Mitchell especially! read more

I needed a battery replacement for my Acer and they were quick and responsive even around the holidays. They didn't have the battery in stock (it's not a common computer so it's understandable) but even with the holiday delays, they were able to have a week turnaround. Unfortunately my laptop did not agree with the 2 batteries that they were able to order for me but they were very prompt, responsive and professional. Also, great prices so I will be coming back if I have other laptop needs. read more

I stupidly spilled water on my MacBook 16 inch and I thought it was totally dead. It would not turn back on after weeks. I brought it to Apple and they quoted me $1500 to fix it, which isn't that much more than the thing cost. I brought it to Chris and he fixed it for $400! The logic board and everything works. The only thing that could not be repaired was the Touch Bar - which lights up but does not work. I was able to download the "Touch Bar simulator" on the desktop so it's all good. I really thought this computer was dead. Thank you EZPC! read more

I had such a great experience with Ezpc Macbook Repair! I took my computer (Macbook Air 2017) here after I spilled some water on it and the screen started flickering/it wouldn't hold a charge. After some research, I figured it was most likely a logic board issue and that Apple would probably charge me $650 + to repair it. I skipped going to Apple and instead looked for repair shops in LA that could handle this issue, and saw that Ezpc got all 5-star reviews. I took my laptop in last Saturday and saw Chris--he took a look and pointed out where the water had caused corrosion on the logic board. He first tried to clean it with alcohol and see if that would fix the issue, but it needed a more intensive repair. He pointed out exactly what he thought the problem was and based on that gave me a reasonable quote (less than a third of what Apple would likely charge). 3 days later, I got an email that my laptop was completely fixed and ready for pickup! I've had it back for a few days now and it's completely back to normal. In short: super reasonable prices, they know their stuff, very trustworthy (you won't pay until your computer is fixed) and GREAT customer service. Thank you Ezpc!! read more

I was having a difficult time with my 2016 Macbook Pro where it wouldn't recognize the battery at times and other times work fine before just turning off without notice. First took it to Apple who wanted me to pay a flat fee to fix whatever might be wrong even though they could not diagnose the issue. Some searching online led me to Chris. I can't speak to the most recent reviews, but I had a very good experience with Chris. He spent ample time diagnosing the issues and laying out a plan of attack, all at a more reasonable cost than Apple. I would recommend EZPC for anyone having Apple logic board-related issues such as mine. Thanks Chris! read more

Great! Fast and easy! my computer like new, better than Apple Genius Bar :)

Great service. And they fixed my MacBook Air. Also, going to revisit for another computer that I have.

They fixed the trackpad on my MacBook Air! I called told Chris what happened he told me I could come in, gave me a quote, and fixed my trackpad in 1 hour. Dang, I forgot the guys name, but, he replaced a 2017 Macbook Pro screen for 299.00, and he did it in about 30 minutes. I was expecting to pay 500 plus, so I'm super happy and I wish could give more than 5 stars. read more

Had a great experience here! My 2011 MacBook Pro had the infamous graphics card go out. Chris did a hardware workaround where he bypassed the original AMD and it's now using the integrated graphics card. I spoke with a few other shops that were offering a similar workaround but were charging almost double what Chris charged me. Chris was also really friendly and happy to answer all of my questions. Got my computer back the same day up and running! read more

When my MacBook Pro screen started acting up I was super nervous that it would cost me an arm and a leg. Luckily, the person helping me tried replacing the drive and seeing if that would work, as a cheaper fix. It did not work but the fact that he checked was much appreciated. Even though I had to replace the screen I got a lightly used one and it only came out to $250, which made my week. My technician also took another $20 off from that price for me. I also mentioned my repair at school and one of my peers recommended to come here, which was a funny coincidence read more

I took my laptop to have a cleaning done and to have antivirus installed, they gave it to me the next day, I check the laptop at my house and I realize that it is the same as I gave it to them, I return to the store the next day and I They say that it does NOT have antivirus and that the problems are "normal" they offered me to do things right, but if they didn't do it at first, nothing assures me that they will do it right the next time, what bothers me is that they told me lies, $ 70 was what I lost doing business with these non-professional people, a bad experience and I definitely don't recommend them. read more

I can't possibly recommend this place strongly enough. A couple weeks ago, my MacBook Pro began noticeably overheating, which in turn resulted in slow performance and apps crashing. After running diagnostics, I confirmed that it was a fan-related issue. Apple Tech support proved incapable of identifying, much less solving the issue via phone, and flat out told me they couldn't help me after confirming that every Apple Store/Genius Bar in a 20-mile radius was closed (due to Covid-19), and that every Apple-authorized repair place in LA had a wait period of at least two weeks. Taking matters into my own hands, I visited two local repair shops (neither authorized by Apple), one of which quoted me $125+ and a 48-hour turnaround and the other of which said I'd have a 1.5 week wait just to get my problem diagnosed, after which I'd likely be looking at a $300+ bill. After finding EZPC on Yelp, I figured I'd give them a shot. I called to make an appointment, and Chris told me to simply come in the following morning. When I did, he greeted me immediately, there was no wait, he fixed the problem within 5 minutes, charged me $20, and sent me on my way. No up-selling. No BS. Exactly what I needed. My only regret is that I didn't find find this place years ago. read more

recommended - my laptop stopped working and chris got it up and runnning again in 24 hrs. friendly and professional !

Chris is so smart and super amazing! I have a 2011 MacBook pro and it was so slow and I think it had more than one virus. I couldn't get it to run a full program or application longer than 15 minutes without freezing. And the right side of my keyboard didn't work anymore. Chris fixed everything!!! He got rid of the virus, updated and cleaned my hard drive, and brought it to 8gb. AND I got a new keyboard!! It's like I have a brand new laptop! I love it so much. Chris thank you, thank you soooo much. I am so happy with your work! I can't believe that it is possible for my laptop to be even faster! Before Chris, I took my MacBook to BestBuy Geek squad..... man please. They wanted me to get a completely new external drive. They weren't even trying to fix my actual laptop, and they didn't say anything about fixing my keyboard. I don't know what they have going on. I'm not even gonna mention the price.
