This morning I woke up to a locked iPhone and was not able to unlock it on my own. Pascal did everything possible to get my phone up and running again, but to no avail. He honestly told me the issue was beyond what he could resolve and referred me to the Apple Store for further assistance. What can I say about MY TECH WORLD, other than I should be ashamed of myself for just now writing a review? I've been doing business with Pascal since before he opened his shop, and I can't count the number of times he has helped me with computer crashes, cracked screens, broken charging ports, iPhone issues--you name it. Pascal is approachable, patient, and very knowledgeable about technology. Over the years, he has saved me a lot of money. He has never overcharged me or tried to upsell me on products or services I didn't need. He's honest and genuinely cares about his customers. That's why I continue to support his business. I wouldn't trust my electronics to anyone else! read more

Well, my friend Jenny's laptop and iPad were no longer charging and 3 places couldn't fix them. However, one place recommended MY TECH WORLD. I met her there Tuesday afternoon for her dropping off her devices and hopefully, they could be fixed. Pascal, who is the owner was extremely kind, technically savvy and reasonably priced and told her they were fixable. She picked everything up today and every problem was solved perfectly!!! Well, this gem is a mile from my home and I couldn't be happier to know that "help" is sooo close. Parking lot holds many cars so double yay! My friend said it was a wonderful experience for her, especially with the removal of stress that had been hanging over her head... ( remember, 3 places could not fix her devices)... She felt confidence in Pascal. He said he could fix the issues and he did!!! Bravo to a person of integrity and mad skills! Highly recommended! read more

If you have an older Apple IPhone like I do (6s plus ), take it to My Tech World. I met Pascal, very nice guy, told him my iPhone battery isn't taking a charge. BOOM, 20 minutes later I have a new battery and a like new iPhone. Don't waste your time searching. Just go there with your older iPhone. Great guy and great company in Culver City. read more

I originally came here to repair my MacBook screen and was happy with the affordable pricing and timely service. Unfortunately, my experience changed after having two screens and a battery replaced at this location. After taking my MacBook home, I noticed that the keyboard backlight no longer worked. I brought it back multiple times and was told over the phone that the keyboard backlight had been FIXED. When I came in to pick it up, I specifically asked if the keyboard backlight was working and was told that it DID. I took it home, only to find out that it was still NOT working. I came back again today, explained my frustration, and was ultimately told that I had wasted their time. After paying for multiple repairs and returning several times for an issue that occurred after their service, as well as being misinformed over the phone about the repairs of my laptop. I found this response extremely disappointing. I initially appreciated their service, but based on how this situation was handled, I cannot recommend this location. Update: Next morning I find out MacBook speaker is no longer available in my system settings and not functioning. Great. read more

Pascal has been a lifesaver. Whenever I have an issue with my iphone or MacBook, he explains the problem, and fixes it if it is within his area of expertise. The cost of these fixes is always reasonable. Furthermore, even if the glitch is not one he can repair, he offers intelligent suggestions to fix the problem. read more

Very helpful and gave my son a lot of his time as we debated the merits and costs of gaming PCs. We went to see about replacing a hinge on an old laptop and he gave us plenty of advice and time. We ended up not replacing the laptop based on his advice. Will be back when we need more help! read more

I spilled half a mug of coffee w. milk on my Mac M1 Pro work laptop. I was panicked thinking it was fried. As soon as MyTechWorld opened, I called and spoke to Paskal who quickly cleaned my laptop and let me know what the damage was. He explained prior to the cleaning the possibilities + costs (motherboard replacements, keyboard, etc.). He called me a couple hours later to let me know the damage was minimal and only a keyboard replacement was needed. I was able to get my laptop back basically brand new the next afternoon. He was so kind and informative. Easy to talk with. Would 100% recommend coming here. read more

I spilled water on my laptop (MacBook Air) that I got just 2 years ago. My former laptop met their demise with spilled water too. I thought my laptop was a goner, especially since I had waited til the next day to get it fixed. Paskal worked his magic and revived my baby. There was initially some damage to the bottom right of the screen but you can barely even see it now. Go here if you need a computer repair!!! And go asap if it's water damage! read more

Very honest fast and friendly service. Super knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile.

Paskal at My Tech World is incredibly knowledgeable, transparent and speedy. He's repaired my MacBook Pro twice now and both times did so in under 24 hours. Fast Service, fixed my phone screen! Found them on Yelp and glad they held up to the reviews.

I woke up this morning and had the dreaded black line across the screen on my iphoneXR. I knew I needed a new screen. I called mytechworld since they're right up the street and they told me to come by at 10:30am. I went in, he took my phone to the back, and 15 minutes later I had a nice brand new screen. He also gave me some cleaning, maintenance tips. Price was very, very fair. Owner is super cool and friendly and I'll recommend this place to any friends who have any phone or computer issues. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! RECEIPT PROOF ATTACHED I got my phone screen replaced here on Friday 5/3/2024. (three days ago). Paskal took my phone to the back where I could not see him and worked on my phone. After he fixed my screen, my phone started to get extremely hot when charging it. In addition, the battery percentage would only go up about 2 percent every 10 minutes with the original apple usb-c charger. If i was using my phone while on the charger, the battery percentage would just stay the same and not go up. I called Paskal to ask him what happened and why my phone is suddenly getting hot and not charging right after my appointment with him. He claimed he did not touch my battery but I believe he stole my Original iPhone battery and replaced it with an aftermarket battery. He told me that I could stop by the store so "I stop crying". I don't know any business owner that speaks to their customers in this manner, especially when I was just asking questions. Please DO NOT COME HERE. After spending $220 to repair my phone, I left with an even more broken phone. Also, the new screen he put on my iPhone 13 pro is terrible and does not show colors correctly. The touchscreen is also very glitchy. DO NOT COME HERE read more

Amazing service always so friendly. My tech world is my family's go to place for quality repairs. Definitely recommend!!

I wish I could give more stars! Paskal is my hero! I had slammed my phone in my trunk and raced to T mobile trying to make it before closing. I made it at 9:02 and they were totally shut down. I was so nervous to spend a night alone with my baby phoneless. I was crying and pulled over into the shopping center where My Tech world is. I looked at the store and saw it was closed but wanted to read the hours on the window-- (it had closed at 6 pm)-- I got back into my car and almost right after a man came out. I asked if he could fix my phone-- he said they were closed but he would ask. Well about 20 minutes later I had a phone that was like brand new! AND as I paid he told me it came with a 90 day warranty, AND was honest about a screen protector I had asked about. I cannot thank Paskal enough-- I went home feeling so blessed and with a perfectly working phone! Truly kind, fast, and so helpful, thank you!!! You made my whole bad day 1000 better! read more

Can't recommend this place more for great computer/phone repair!! My husband and I have both come here for Macbook repair, and a shattered phone screen, and we found service to be very professional, prompt, honest and well-priced. My iPhone screen was shattered, and I dropped it off first thing in the morning, did a quick market run, and it was ready 30 minutes later when I was done grocery shopping. Incredible! SO glad this place is so local to us! read more

I was able to get my pc repaired due to a dying graphic card. Pricing was fair and I was able to get my pc back within a week. The response time and customer service is top notch! Paskal has been nothing but helpful, honest and fair in price. He has integrity and you will get straight and competent answers. Brian

I first found MY TECH WORLD a few years ago when I brought my Macbook Pro in and the owner Paskal fixed it so quickly and it looked brand-new again! Recently brought in an iPhone for repair and now it works perfectly. Paskal is kind, professional, knowledgeable and way better than any apple genius! Fair pricing and expedient service. Rare to find places like this these days. Highly recommend! read more

There's a good reason why all you see are 5 stars for this guy. Perhaps one of the most stand up good business ethics I've seen ever seen. Not only did he fix my phone screen within 24 hours (including ordering it) but when the stylus wasn't re-inserted when he finished he took it upon himself to have it delivered... like 6 miles away --even after I said I'd be ok with shipping it. THAT IS TIP TOP SERVICE -- IN LOS ANGELES IT'S AS RARE AS WINNING THE LOTTO! I will give him as much great word of mouth advertising I can. read more

DONT COME HERE!!! First of all the guy working is extremely rude and inconsiderate. After I got my phone back, I am having problems with my touch screen and battery life. Note this is a brand new iPhone. Not only do they provide horrible customer service, but they also do a horrible job. My phone is worse than it was when I came in. I called another company called the fix and they said that they have a lot of customers that have said the same thing about my tech world. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU'RE COOL WITH THEM FUCKING UP YOUR PHONE AND BLAMING YOU FOR IT. Most of this guy's good reviews came from over 2 years ago, he was probably running a promotion for a discount on services for a yelp review. DONT GET FOOLED, THIS GUY SUCKS AND HIS BUSINESS IS UNTRUSTWORTHY. read more

I have been meaning to write my review. I accidentally dropped my A2289 model MacBook and half of the screen went black. I was extremely worried because I had midterms coming up and had completed half of one. I had not backed up my iCloud so i was fearful i would lose all my grad school work for the past 2 years. I literally googled and yelped every single computer place near me because the Apple store had given me an outrageous estimate which was insane and might as well buy a one laptop right!? Well I called this place and Paskal was so quick to answer all my questions, gave me a 24hr turn around and it cost me a fraction of what the Apple store did. I took my computer around noon one day and the next day at 11am he called me back saying the computer was fixed and everything saved. I wanted to cry of happiness. Not only did he do an exceptional job, but he was professional and kind. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

The best computer tech I've ever spoken to. I've had to use them three times (Ive got some old equipment, lol) and each time they blow me away even more. They're so incredibly honest, their prices are great, and the man at the front is so helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more
