Don't let all the 5 star reviews fool you! Please. I brought my iPhone 7 to My Tech World to have my cracked screen replaced, and during the repair they disabled iPhone home button and could not restore it again. Since they are not an Apple authorized facility they were unable to successfully repair it. Thus, I had to bring to the Apple store in SM and pay to repair the damage they did to the home button and to replace the third-party screen they installed. I would recommend to spend the extra $50 and bring to Apple Genius Bar if your screen ever breaks. My Tech World receives all the great reviews because they provide and install a plastic protective screen cover (a less than $1 cost) in exchange for a 5 star review. BTW, The cover actually desensitizes the screen so it is less responsive. I actually wrote a 5 star review on their Mac during their initial repair, and then removed it during the grueling hour of waiting while they attempted to restore functionality to my home button. read more

Found them through Yelp and had an amazing experience. I shattered my iPhone 6S and went in to get it replaced. I had shattered it before and gotten it fixed at a different place and it took them 2 hours to replace it. I was shocked when they told me I only had to wait 15 minutes for them to replace it. I sat and waited and it was fixed perfectly. He even offered me discounts on protective glass and recommendations to fix my battery. Later that day, I noticed that there was a small smudge on the front camera (probably my fault). I took it back in the next day and he cleaned the camera free of charge. Awesome experience and definitely will visit again when I inevitably crack my screen again read more

My Tech World saved my life! My Mac Book has made funny sounds and didn't let me open not at all. Paskal was patient, honest, and friendly when I was asking many questions. I decided to replace it and install new iOS X. He showed me inside of the Mac for explaining about the hard drive, and I saw many dust/bugs are inside! I asked him to clean it if it possible. Of course, I mentioned him I will pay it for the cleaning fees. I just picked up my Mac Book and I realized that he didn't charge it for the cleaning service:):):) Thanks! Of all tech places, this one is the best! That is for sure. I have had several very positive experiences with Pascal and his staff, fixing my phone, my father's phone, my friends laptop and today an entire screen replacement. The prices have always been reasonable and fair, even less than I expected in this recent case. See photo. It is now fixed and worked perfectly and I even opted for the additional protection of tempered glass. They were so fast and my screen looks amazing! IPhone 7 Plus screen repair. I felt like it was a fair price too **Update as of 12/03/18** I went back after 33 days (he has a 30 policy), and he gladly replaced my screen again. My screen had been a bit glitchy (any normal person probably wouldn't have even cared.. that's how minor it was), and of course the issue wasn't even happening when I went to show him... He still gladly changed my screen again, and even called after the fact bc I had to head out pretty quickly. Super nice guy. No issues at all now. Thanks so much!!! read more

Nice, friendly people. They helped me greatly, and finished the work quickly on my daughter's iPhone 6. I was very impressed. The phone came out looking like new again! I have a Samsung Galaxy 4 cell phone. The charging port got damaged. I went to Sprint, where I have been a customer for 10 years, and they said my phone was too old and they didn't have the parts to fix it! What!? All they want to do is sell you a new phone ($600) and contract! I went to see Nick at My Tech World in Culver City. He said that he could fix my phone for $60 in one hour! Great! I needed a screen replacement for my iPhone and they were nice, quick, and did it for a great price ($60 for a 5S). Unfortunately, the screen had a weird green cast to it and the colors were duller. I called the next day after realizing it was a big problem for all the photography I handle on my phone, and they replaced it for free and added a screen protector. The new screen works great and they couldn't have been nicer about the whole thing. If you want quality customer service for a great value, go here. read more

This place is great! I found them on Yelp and stopped in before work. The man behind the counter was very helpful and offered to diagnose my phone for free. Within 2 hours he had called me and given me a quote. I price checked it with other companies in the area and My Techworld was by far the cheapest. One had water damage and it was saved by replacing the video card and for the other, they removed a virus. He even gave me a 50% discount on a tempered glass cover and installed it for me. I was especially happy about this last bit as I had previously botched an installation and wasted $25. The clutz I am spilled coffee all over my laptop keyboard. The whole keyboard was sticky and my screen was showing up distorted. Decided to look up the nearest repair shop near me and ended up here. All of this happened after I turned my off and on because of the fact that my volumes would not turn down. So when I restarted it, that's when the screen started having these problems. I repeat I DID NOT DROP MY PHONE. Don't use them. There's a spot on Melrose that does good phone repair. They also tried to say that the previous repair was for my screen. My screen was not broken. I have a glass piece over my screen and a rubber cover over the other side. they most definitely put a board in the phone but it was either faulty or it just was not new when they installed it.
