I needed a few hard-to-find parts for my vintage Titanium PowerBook G4, including a display assembly. When I contacted DV warehouse asking for clarification on a display I saw on their website, not only did they send give me a full response, but they also searched their warehouse for the part I was looking for and emailed me photos of the exact one I would be purchasing. There was another small part I had asked about that they searched for, but couldn't find. Just after I placed my order they found the part though, and included it for free. My experience was a huge contrast from some other part sources that would only send single sentence responses, or cancel my order when it turned out they didn't actually have the part I needed. I searched forever for a MacBook pro part and every time I saw DV Warehouse pop up I said to myself "no... Find somewhere you can pick the part up. You don't wanna wait for shipping". Sooo stupid of me. I will never go anywhere else for ANYTHING Apple unless they don't have it. Okay, this is an easy one for me. I can proudly say that I have been a very happy customer of DV Warehouse since 2011 when I had to replace a G5 Mac which I had originally purchased new in late 2003. But when the original G5's motherboard failed, I first went to my local Apple Store to see if they could repair it (they were still supporting the G5 at that juncture). They quoted me $950 to replace the motherboard with NO WARRANTY!!! Seeking a second option, I did a Google search in an effort to get that machine back in business as I run a music production facility and needed it to continue running Pro Tools sessions for my clients (and I knew enough to realize that the system drive was still intact). Fortunately for me, that search took me to DV Warehouse - and their site showed a refurbished G5 of the same exact model as my failed one - and it was available for $289 WITH a 90-day warranty!!! Realizing that this was essentially a no-brainer and that they were easily within an hour's drive from my home in Orange County, I called them and then drove up to look at the machine. It delivered everything as promised (and then some) and is in fact still operating today! Since that time, DV Warehouse has been my first-call go-to source for all my Mac needs, whether it be accessories such as replacement batteries for our MacBook Pros or replacement computers, such as my very recent purchase of a 2018 MacBook Pro. As a very satisfied customer, I have referred them to numerous other people whose experiences have been very similar to my own. It came about a couple days after I ordered it so relatively fast but the no confirmation or receipt kind of bugged me. Also I'm iffy about it being legit. It was so cheap and I wonder why but sometimes when I plug it in it sparks up a bit and the usb c side had like some glue or idk what on it so I had to clean it. Maybe it was a return.
