I've never been so disrespected by Apple. I called customer service to get help with an issue, and the representative I spoke with was extremely rude and unprofessional. I understand the call was being recorded, which makes the behavior even more unacceptable. I was simply asking for assistance, but instead of receiving help, I felt dismissed and poorly treated. At one point, I even found myself giving the representative advice on how to handle customer service properly, which should never be necessary. We dropped off the laptop that had power issue intermittently. When we got the laptop back, the NVMe (hard drive) was taken out, and taped on the invoice. No anti static sleeve whatsoever. They just said it's not repairable, and cheaper to buy a new one. We paid $35 for inspection/diagnosis (whatever they call it), and left the store. When I opened the laptop to put NVMe back, I saw that RAM was missing from laptop after we got home. They told me to pick RAM up from store when I called them. How convenient for them to "FORGET" to put RAM back. We brought in the complete laptop, but they did not even bother to put the laptop back to one piece at least. They have no knowledge about electronics, nor PC. Stay far away from this store. read more

The first time I came here (February 2025) I had cracked my Macbook Pro screen on accident (entirely my fault for dropping something on it), and they offered a good price. They initially quoted me at $300 on the phone with the price of the screen + labor fees and after seeing my screen ($250 for the screen and $50 for labor fee), but then quoted me for $400 later on (increased labor fee to $100). This is fine as usually Apple makes you pay double to repair accidental damage that's not covered by warranty, and I didn't have Apple Care. Requested cash instead of card payment if I wanted it to be slightly cheaper at $350. I was very adamant on also making sure their screens were authentic, and they ensured me all screens were the same. They said the screen would take a week to arrive and would follow up when they said it was done. I ended up calling because they delayed repair, but I understood it took a while for the screen model to be delivered. While the repair was fine, they weirdly changed something in my hard drive so that my fingerprint allowed me to access my computer, but my password wasn't working when I typed it in. I had to go back and reset it. The screen also was this weird cool toned shade, and the camera quality became so terrible and laggy I could barely get on Zoom calls because my camera looked like it constantly had grease on it. Then 6 months later today, I barely grazed the screen with my finger and the screen immediately cracked. I am very careful with my electronics due to how costly it is to repair and because I constantly need my laptop for work and school reasons. While the first time it was definitely my fault, this repair was useless, faulty, and low quality. I was skeptical since the place had awful reviews, but I was a student about to graduate university and was very concerned about my budget and paying off student loans, so I just went to the most convenient place I could find. That was a big mistake and so stupid of me to do. Please go to another repair store even if it costs a bit more and make sure the screens they order are authentic and durable. When I also went to pick up my repair back in February, they refused to show me the price of the screen they had ordered online, so I wasn't even sure if labor costs or the screen had been the reason my price increased when they had quoted me cheaper early on. I was also extremely worried and anxious about it potentially breaking again when I went to pick it up, but they insisted it was a very strong screen and unless I dropped something on it again, it would not break. Ironically, It broke February 12 and exactly 6 months later today, August 12, it is broken. Coming from a Korean, Korean businesses are always sleazy and mostly concerned about money rather than customer satisfaction. If the reviews are bad and you feel skeptical, AVOID. Just spend more at a higher quality place, especially if you use your laptop daily. Do NOT recommend for building PCs Installed my water-cooled fans backward which ended up overheating my GPU that cost over $600 and left permanent damage with clock speed spikes. I have to underclock significantly in order to get a stable usage out of my PC. Also installed counterfeit programs that I did not ask for and was not aware of. One day I dropped my lap top and it stop turning on and receiving power so I decided to bring it for a check to this guys and see if the can help me. They changed me 25$ to find out the problem and fix it for me. They end up giving me the lap top back saying that i need a new one. I came home took everything apart and put back together and my lap top is working like it was before. Probably some connection was off from the fall. I panicked and felt like a dummy for a while but then the next day, checked Yelp for iPhone repair and since this place was a few blocks away from me, inside the Wilshire Galleria mall, I decided to go check them out. $40, 30 minutes, and one bagel and coffee at Tom N Tom's later, my shattered baby is as good, if not better, than new. Just came back from getting my iPhone 4 screen replaced and I am so happy that my friend told me about this place. It's in the Wilshire Galleria Department Store (you can find street parking pretty easily) and is the first booth on the right when you walk in. I had almost lost hope with my phone because it was so incredibly shattered, but my friend recommended this place and their price was unbeatable. All of the staff were helpful, friendly, and knew what they were doing. It took just a little more than a hour to have my iPhone fixed and it looks perfect and has been functioning well. They put a new terabyte hard drive. Mine crashed after it was replaced by someone I knew who did the job for free. You get what you pay for. After 2 months I needed a new drive. My mom told me to take it here. I always listen to my mom now. We dropped my macbook off to get repaired. Took 5 days to complete the work due to them having to order the drive. I was happily surprised to see that they installed all my old software and added Toast at no extra cost. The drive is now protected by a solid 1 year warranty. Hooray! Free validated parking. Great service. Only caveat is to ask them for the account password after the job. I didn't so I was without Flash and Silverlight for a week- yikes no Netflix and Hulu Plus. Can you imagine? The had a very competitive price to repair my daughters Iphone 5c screen. The repair only took 30 minutes. A couple days later, my daughter said the screen was not sliding like it use to. So I took it back and they adjusted the screen sensitivity, and my daughter said it worked perfect. So five stars because they were very nice on the phone, very professional when I drop the phone off, and then willing to take the phone back and make any adjustments necessary. It has been a week, and my daughter says it is as good as new. The warranty is 45 days for the phone repair. I would use them again, and I would take my computer there too. Parking in the back. Always a mediocre service, but I still went since it was close to work and they get the job done even though it usually takes twice the estimated time. This time they managed to take mediocre service to exceptionally BAD. I dropped off my lap top that needed a new battery. Estimated time they gave me was 5 days with $300+ . I didn't care so much about the money since I had important files that I needed ASAP. But no phone call even after 6 days. So I called, no apology for going over their estimated time, they simply said, Oh we got your battery but it's a defected one, so we need another 5 days to work on it. I've decided to give them another chance, they called me back after 5 days this time supprisingly with a same excuse. Oh, we got another defected battery, we need another 5 days. At this point I was pissed, called few other places and found another company offering 2-4 days with $150. I took my new laptop because some of the files I download would crack. They suggested me to reinstall the window at $60 which is about double the price compared to where I used to go. Without any further notice, they returned my laptop, when I turned my laptop, first screen got cracked, the initial problem did not get resolved. Called, a man would connect me to the person who handled but soon hung up on me. Called again. The technician avoided making apologies and offered another chance to take a look at my laptop (which tells me they don't ever feel responsible for the initial problem). He said he will apologize if I wanted him to (what??-he doesn't feel responsible for the cause) He didn't ask me if I wanted to back up my files and now my files are gone. A friend recommended this place when I shattered my iPhone 5 front screen. He said he paid $40 for a 30 minute job. Cool! Sounds great to me! So I yelped to see what people had to say. I see another review saying the same thing "$40: 30 minutes". SWEET! I call them to verify this and they said "it's $75 for iPhone 5 but if you pay cash we will not charge you tax and you will only pay $70" ...uhh what about the $40 deal? "Well, that's only for the iPhone 4". WTF? The guy on the phone then said "you will not find anyone to do it for $70 I guarantee it! You can shop around and see for yourself". I yelped around and saw the average was over $100. Sweet! I'll make the trek to save $40! When I showed up an hour after getting a quote on the phone, they tell me it will be $75 if I pay cash. Uhhh... "I was quoted $70 over the phone if I pay cash so I only brought $70" Him: "we don't do that. We charge $75 for cash transactions" Me: "ok so why did one of you quote me $70 over the phone..?" Him: I don't think that happened, we have a flat rate of $79 (What the eff??! Now you're up to $79?) Me: well one of you did and it's not cool to quote a price if you cannot honor it. Him: do you have the name of the person you spoke with? Me: you're right! I should have gotten a name. But I didn't. And it doesn't change the fact that you lied. Him: asks the other employees if they quoted me $70 over the phone. (They all said no, of course) Me: this is bullshit. You're making me feel ripped off and are now saying that I have to pay more because I don't have the name of the person?? That's not good customer service. I will pay the extra $5 to show you I don't care about that, but this is shitty customer service! They start looking at my phone and dude tells me my volume buttons don't work. THEY DO! I read all the glowing reviews and decided to go with this shop out of all the computers stores near USC and in the downtown LA area. Boy, I was sure disappointed! I already knew what was wrong...my inverter went out and so I needed that replaced. My LCD screen was fine since I could still see my screen but just the light was off (so the inverter was the only thing broken). So, I went to Computer Plus but they think it is the LCD screen. I told them that the inverter needs to be fixed and they said well nothing about that. I asked them the cost for everything (in parts and service) and they said 140 - the screen itself was around 100. So, I said okay and left my computer there. Then, about a week later, they say that inverter was broken too. WELL, I knew that but of course they act like they were right. I go a few days later to pick it up and I find my bill comes to 170. I was surprised and angry. They kept saying that the first day, the person I talked to and I had a misunderstanding. Then they made up some numbers - 140 for the screen, 5 for the inverter, and 30 for the service - as Koreans have a tendency to have no set price for things as prices are easily lowered and raised according to the person they are selling a service to. I tried asking them for a discount because they had given me a wrong estimate, but they wouldn't budge. So, I ended up paying for it BUT THAT SAME DAY, I took the computer home and used it for 5 minutes, and it shut down on me. So, then I had to come back all the way up AGAIN and get them to fix it again. They had me sit there for good thirty minutes explaining and showing what went wrong with the computer. Obviously, they said that the computer was fine when they gave it to me. But, in their message last week when they told me to pick it up, they had told me it kept shutting off and had wanted me to come later. But, they eventually called again and told me to just come as they had "fixed" the problem. WELL, finally 3 weeks later I have my laptop back and it looks everything was okay. But, they wouldn't give me a discount for my troubles and made everything seem as it was my fault. Oh well. I definitely do not recommend this shop as the employees often give way off the mark estimates and just aren't worth the price. read more

Our Business Computer got a virus and was inoperable making it very hard to do business, we couldnt use it and customers needed receipts, these guys removed the virus for a third of the prices of other quotes i had got. I never ever ever write reviews... but having experienced Scott's impeccable knowledge and courteous service, I felt truly compelled to write one for Computer Plus. The bf lives and thrives on his laptop as he is a concept/design artist, so I'm sure you can imagine the horror when it suddenly crashed on him. After spending some time troubleshooting, running diagnostics and looking up online help via his Iphone, his frustration turned into sheer panic when I suddenly asked him, "babe, did you save any of your artwork?"... to which he replied, "awww f**k". So we look up Computer Plus and we talk to Scott and he tells us stop what we're doing and to bring it in ASAP... we make a bee line for his store and I kid you not, Scott worked his magic and had it up and running as if nothing had happened in less than FIVE minutes... Sooooo fast that the bf and I just stood there momentarily feeling a bit stupid. Ok, in our defense, everyone is a genius in their own special way... our is just not in computer forensics, okay?!! But what was truly wonderful about Scott was that he had no foul intention of misleading us or trying to pocket extra bucks for some bs service or upgrade that we didn't need. We were obviously two VERY clueless and desperate folks who probably would've shelled out whatever bill he shoved into our faces. (Not to be too disparaging towards salesmen and technicians... but c'mon.. we've ALL dealt with them before.. ) But let me say that we walked outta there SO relieved that we were able to salvage the laptop and SOOo grateful not having to sell our limbs or kidneys to pay for Scott's awesome service.
