I went in to get a new phone. The data transfer took several hours, not sure why. When the phone was picked up, they said it was ready to go, but that my original phone had died. Why they let that happen at a literal phone store is beyond me. So I have the new phone at home and try to send out a text, and what do ya know, I cant because there's no SIM card. My mom and her husband went to T-Mobile to get their phone screen replaced after being told they had a lifetime warranty--turns out, it was a complete scam. They paid $60 back in February, and now it's July. Since then, they've been sent back and forth between multiple stores, with each one refusing to honor the warranty. Do not buy accessories or add-on services from T-Mobile. If you absolutely need to use their phones or plans, fine--but steer clear of anything else they try to sell you. It's unacceptable how they've treated my family, especially targeting my immigrant parents by taking advantage of their trust. read more

I'm glad I was able to find a Tmobile store close to home that offers great customer service. I went in to upgrade two lines and add another line and was lucky enough to get helped by Edgar. He was patient and explained everything thoroughly. The process was very smooth and quick. The store manager helped us at the end and she also provided exceptional service. Well I've been going to this location for more then 10 years and everything has always worked out so great. The guys are always very helpful until My last visit the worst customer service. Some woman not wearing a name tag wasted my time when I went in for some help with my phone device I am a woman so I'm always supportive of other women however this girl has no idea what she is doing I don't know why she was hired to work in a position where she has to know certain simple device service. DO NOT COME HERE They will trick you into buying stuff and tell you something only to switch it up the next day. The worker Bryan was the one who made this "mistake" even tho he clearly told us that we'd be receiving $1000 for phone trade ins and that's what made us get the deal. he made it clear many times that we'd get the deal and explained it to us. only to find out that they only want to give us $400 for a phone the next day. it's truly disappointing because they just lie to their customers. they expect us to give them our card info just so they can take out the remaining money later and hoping you won't notice. read more

To be honest I not sure why did I came back to t-mobile if they never gonna change the way they trick their customer and I am one of them again. This time with the promotion the Magenta plan trading you old phone and get and stupid A32 the it worth nothing so I gave my old good phone and trade it for the A32 bug I did not know the they actually will be sticking on a plan because what I find out is the the stupid 9hkne they gave me was not an even trade in they actually charge you for on a monthly installments. So if you need to leave the company you have to pay the phone other wise you can not leave for 2 years. So anyone who reads this don't get t mobile ever, they always lie to get you in but when is a problem they give you hard time. Say no at T Mobile. read more

To be honest I'm leaving this review because Jose M. deserves it. I decided to get a separate phone for my clients so I can stop taking business calls from my personal phone. Originally, I looked around and decided to do a pre-pay account with T-Mobile. I check THEIR website found a store and went. The store was CLOSED despite the website saying they were supposed to be open for another hour. Strike 1. But I'm solution oriented and figured out I could go to Target grab a Simple Mobile phone (works on T-mobile towers and try that). Checked out as decent service so I decide to move my business iPad over to T-mobile. I head to the store in North Hollywood and she sets me up on the wrong plan. Call customer service to get it corrected and he offers me a another data line (which never works after receiving the sim card). Strike 2. So I'm at this point just about done with T-Mobile. However, it's the most cost effective option so one last try. Let's just say Jose was about to be the deciding factor on if I were going to make this change permanent, upgrade my phone and tablet, and possibly switch my 3 At&t personal lines later. He was friendly and professional. The entire staff had a great attitude. I'm glad to say he switched my non working line over and ported my number from Simple mobile with no issue. Even gave me options to upgrade the lines later for more options. I'll be back to see him when I upgrade my phones. Thank you Jose!! read more

To give you guys a little summary of my experience, I ordered a iPad mini and My package got stolen. Having to wait for a refund was not as I expected but I was willing to understand the situation . Once I gotten my refund , I went to a different T-mobile and I had gotten a bad experience where my patients where tested. I don't even want to explain the negative side of the story because its just not worth it. I ended up calling several T-mobile places and none of them had any iPad in stock except this location In Van Nuys . I explained to the employee name Robert and he assured me that they had an iPad mini and would help me solve my problem . Robert and Jose made sure my problem was solved and I am very thankful . I am normally a person who would rather order online to avoid any type of interaction but the customer service I received was beyond GREAT . If I need anything I'll settle for this location. (I felt bad because he had to fix another person dirty work) but the entire staff there were so welcoming! This place reminds me why I love the community in Van Nuys where I was raise and it brought back home to me. Thanks guys !! read more

If you don't know what up you might fall for these games that they play. First off wasn't greeted when i walked in and waited patiently while they attended to other customers. A different customer walks in and I notice he's talking to one of the associates. I walk over and the person says he'll help me in a couple minutes. Ten minutes later the assistant manager comes around I tell him what I need. He tells me there's no taxes or fees associated then attempts to charge me taxes and an activation fee. Well you just told me theres no tax or fees on the "Sync up" product. And then he tells me I need to show and American Indian ID. Smh. So I call t-mobile customer service, they don't even mention an activation fee, they honor a promo that ended 2 months ago and I paid was the tax. STAY AWAY RIP OFF!! read more

I went to the T Mobile store at the Northridge Mall to purchase Christmas gifts. The Salesman there lied to me on the shipping time. He guaranteed me that I would get them before Christmas. I guess he just wanted to get the Sale. After calling Customer Service and finding out My order hadn't even been processed on Dec. 23rd I decided to go to another T Mobile store to try and get help. I didn't go to the Original Store because it wouldn't of ended well for that Salesman. I went to the Store on Van Nuys and Victory Blvd. Giselle Tapias was the Salesperson that helped me. She went out of her way to help me after hearing my problem. She made calls to Customer Care and other Stores to find my stuff. She tried to fix my problem and did. This T-Mobile store is the only corporate store around my area. The only thing I don't like about this location is the parking or lack thereof. I usually have to meter but it's worth it. Aside from parking, everything about this location is awesome. The service is really good. I initially called and asked some questions about getting a new SIM card because I had a stolen phone. The person on the phone was so friendly and took the time to explain everything to me. When I went in to the store, there was no wait and a very friendly female associate greeted me and helped me right away. She was empathetic and even told me that she could block the phone for me so that whoever stole it would not be able to use it. It was such a pleasant experence and a complete night and day from the third party authorized retailers.
