I had a surprisingly great experience with Spectrum recently and wanted to share it because customer service like this deserves recognition. I originally called Spectrum because I was planning to cancel my internet due to the price. I had been paying about $90 per month for 600 Mbps, which felt too high. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and worked with me to find a solution. They ended up offering me 1 Gig internet for $30 per month, which honestly shocked me. On top of that, they also sent me a brand new WiFi 7 router to my home free of charge. When the new router arrived, I called customer service again to get everything activated. The people on the phone were knowledgeable, patient, and very easy to work with. They walked me through everything and had my internet up and running quickly. After that, I went to the Spectrum retail store down the street from me to return my old router. I was honestly expecting the typical telecom store experience where sales reps are pushy about adding services or making it difficult to return equipment. I have had that happen at other companies before. Instead, the experience was the complete opposite. The store was very clean, organized, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and professional. A gentleman who I believe was named Reese helped me. He was kind, efficient, and not pushy at all. He processed my return quickly and made the whole visit very easy. Overall, the entire experience from customer service on the phone to the retail store visit was excellent. I went into this expecting frustration and instead walked away very impressed. This location is by far the best one I have ever been to and believe me, that is saying a lot! In the past, Spectrum did not have the best customer service but I think they have stepped up their game with all the competition now. I arrived just before they opened their doors to return an old modem and ask a few questions about my new phone service. ASTRID was incredibly rude, very pushy about pushing mobile service and after the second time I said I wasn't interested, she replied rudely with " oh so you like paying a lot of money for your service?" This is a salesperson at your company? Are you kidding me? Seriously thinking about canceling my service. I had to transfer my phone number to a new phone and decided to switch my phone carrier to Spectrum (they have been my internet provider for many years), so I had a lot to do and the number transfer was pretty tricky. We were there Oct 15. This review is specifically for the middle age Latina employee who "helped" us. Although she was unable to help us. She does NOT know what she's doing & *needs to be trained* more about cell phones. She played with my friend's phone for 10 minutes (after we waited for 15 minutes) & told my friend that she couldn't help her get her WhatsApp contacts and info back. When we got home I took her phone & typed into Google WhatsApp & all of a sudden ALL the old apps popped up automatically and asked me if I wanted to get all the old apps back (after my friend had to do a factory reset) It was the easiest thing ever! And this employee who works here didn't know something SO SIMPLE & EASY & FAST. HOW does this happen???????? If you go to this store, try to get the tall African American guy. I wanted to share feedback regarding my visit on 2/7/26 at 7 p.m. While I understand it was nearing closing time, the service from Sylvia was surprisingly dismissive. Instead of being welcomed, I was asked, 'What do you need?' When told we were looking for a iphone upgrade and Apple Watch, she checked the system, immediately stated nothing was in stock - I was looking for a blue iPhone 17 pro max - she showed zero initiative to look up alternatives or ship items to us. It was clear we felt like an inconvenience rather than customers, which unfortunately cost your store two sales. Again, unprofessional greeting, dismissive attitude, lack of effort/no initiative and felt like an interruption/inconvenience. Please provide Sylvia with more training. read more

I went in last night after work to pick up my new modem. As I walk in, I'm greeted with a warm welcome from both staff members. Michelle was very kind and sweet, promptly helped me with a smile. When you have a problem they do nothing to help you and then they give you vague response and expect you to be a good little soldier. I don't know one customer who is happy with this company. The service here is fantastic. I walked in, put my name on the waiting list, and even though the waitlist looked long and the store was pretty busy, I was helped within 15-20 minutes. The gentleman with the long hair that helped me (I believe his name was Jojo/started with a J), was awesome. He was so polite, efficient and accommodating. Also, I had to get a technician out to connect some outside wires into my apartment to connect the modem/router, and the process of calling Spectrum and them getting someone out was sooo fast and efficient. Great experience!! The store is hard to find but it is located in the underpass of the road in between the mall and the parking structure. It is new and well lit. All the employees were friendly. I can't say enough about how helpful Tausha was. I was in a really stressful situation with my son's mobile phone--it was eligible for an upgrade but I was having trouble with the phone itself. Long story short, she really held my hand through the whole process, was kind and comforting, took charge and fully accomplished what I needed. She even called me after the fact to reassure me that my situation was being taken care of. Dishonest and their customer service is despicable. representative Ernesto actually lied- First told me it was unlimited Internet and then he told me there's a cap on my cell service also didn't tell me that the first month was $39 instead of 29 which would've been a big deal but the cap on the cell phone The worst was, he told me it was unlimited cell phone data, and then he told me there was a cap . I am a business owner that has spectrum for 15+ accounts. This means I have 15+ account numbers, 15+ security codes... you catch my drift - it's hard to keep organized. I went in to get organized and I knew whoever was going to work with me was going to be in for a long visit.
