Our Control4 system was out-of-date and in need of service. The firm that put the system in was not very responsive, and didn't show for the last appointment I booked. I turned to Yelp to find the highest-rated Control4 reseller in the Valley and found Tony. He showed up promptly to give us a quote for new security cameras and updating our existing Control4 processors. His quote was reasonable and detailed. Did a virtual estimate with Tony. It was fast and not much in detail about what type of system will be placed. I asked if I can have both access to open my door with my cell and my home phone which he said he can't do. I asked for the model of the intercom system model so I can see the features and all he did was to ask for my address. For other estimates submitted all businesses said they install what I want. Again......no estimate invoice was ever offered after the estimate which you can email to me no need for a address. I read the reviews here and decided to give Tony and his crew a try. I had a big job in mind, but wanted to see how they'd handle just setting up my mom's new TV on the wall without cords and what-not. Tony came out, I got a good vibe from him right away so I then took him over to see the bigger job at my house. The first setup went great. They did clean work, we're on time and left the place clean. The second job was a family room to home theatre conversion including acquiring a hard to find OLED tv, installing in-wall and in-ceiling speakers and a bunch of rewiring outside the house; a mess AT&T had made. They rocked it. Came in under budget. There were some hangups getting some of the equipment, but I advise you to be patient and you'll get what you want. We also needed to remove a window and patch the wall. Tony found a great guy Ernie Cortez, who showed up EARLY every day and worked all day to fix this up in short order. He even painted the wall when he finished, which I wasn't expecting. His work was clean and professional and not expensive. The bottom line is that My TV Connection does great work and Tony is cool and will get you what you want and get it done well. His crew is excellent, in particular Jesus went the extra mile on numerous things. He has a good connection on devices, don't buy elsewhere! Strong recommendation. read more

I was in search of someone to help take over the mounting of a flat screen on my brick wall. He was very responsive, and I had priced out a few different vendors via yelp within half hour. He was the most reasonably priced, and he was able to come that same day. He and his apprentice were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. He stayed to make sure everything worked after it was reconnected. It turned out that the fireplace wall wasn't brick after all but just a facing. And to think that other people would have charged me upwards of $200 for that same job. I don't think that those other vendors would have changed their price after finding that out. He had completed the job in just over half an hour. WOW! You know, sometimes when you talk with someone you can tell that they're not out to gouge your eye out or take advantage of you.
