Our house was prewired for a very elaborate multi-zone control system and surround setup, but we ultimately didn't want to go down the complicated (and expensive) route. Shawn designed a Sonos-based solution that was far more budget-friendly while still delivering everything we wanted -- and it turned out beautifully. He implemented a 5-zone Sonos system, including a Sonos surround theater setup, and installed 18 indoor and outdoor speakers plus two TVs (including a 98" TV). He also came up with some genuinely innovative mounting solutions for the outdoor speakers that look clean and intentional. What impressed me most was his professionalism and patience. The existing wiring had some challenges, and Shawn worked through them carefully rather than taking shortcuts. He also improved our network by installing an Eero router system for noticeably better Wi-Fi coverage, and he set up a 5-camera Ring security system. After the main install, Shawn came back for follow-ups to make sure everything was dialed in, and he did a thorough walkthrough so we felt confident using and managing the system. We had an interesting problem of a house where the wifi did not extend from one end of the house to the other. The challenge is that we didn't want to use WIFI at all. We want to use wired connections. We did have co-axial cable throughout the house from the old TV days. Shaun came three times to solve this problem. Long post but wanted to give you context. My mother and I haven used Shawn to mounts two TVs in the past. I actually found out about Shawn through my mother. She had her Samsung 55" TV mounted 8 yrs ago by Shawn and did an excellent job. The mount was heavy duty and Shawn found the studs in one shot. My mother didn't want to see the cable cord and power cords so he hid them through the wall and created an outlet for them to be plugged in. It was very clean looking and an excellent job. Elder people want things done their way or no way LOL. Then I used Shawn six years ago to mount my Samsung 55" TV on an all brick wall attached to my fireplace. Again Shawn did a fantastic job. I was worried because I wasn't sure that the TV would be secure on brick but Shawn found the studs behind the brick. Amazing! Fast forward, 9 yrs later my mom passed we remodeled her house which entailed dismounting the TV at my moms. Once remodeling was done I called Shawn to come and remount my moms 55" TV and another 32" monitor that I thought I could use if I was only going to stream via ROKU. Well it wouldn't quite work because the monitor wasn't driven by a remote so we would have to go to the monitor on the wall and turn it on in the bedroom. Lessen learned. I have to go buy same size TV 32" and Shawn graciously said he would swing by to install the TV since the mount was already installed on the wall. We have been struggling with our Sonos speakers for a while - getting them to connect to WiFi.
