I hate leaving negative reviews, but my experience with GetWired Tec was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn other customers. What started as a simple smart home / entertainment installation turned into a complete disaster. First, communication was poor from the beginning. It took weeks and multiple follow-ups just to get a response and schedule an appointment. When the technician arrived, things quickly went downhill. During the installation process, my media console was scratched and chipped after equipment and devices were carelessly moved around and placed directly on the surface. I documented the damage with photos. Even worse: the installation itself did not work properly. After the failed install, I was approached directly by the technician, Juan, who suggested working "off the books" outside of GetWired Tec to supposedly fix the issue for $125. Trusting that he knew the system and could correct the problems, I agreed and paid him via Zelle after he installed an additional HDMI switch device he recommended I purchase. Within less than 24 hours, my entire entertainment setup began malfunctioning: * Inputs stopped working * Audio started cutting in and out * Devices failed to power on correctly * System reliability completely collapsed My setup was functioning before this service. Now I will have to pay another company potentially hundreds of dollars to diagnose and repair the damage caused by this installation. I reached out repeatedly to Juan asking him to make this right and refund the money I paid him, but my messages were ignored or met with excuses. At this point, I'm seeking reimbursement for: The $125 I paid directly for the failed repair The cost of repairing/reinstalling my system The damage done to my media console I strongly recommend that anyone considering GetWired Tec proceed with caution. read more

The best. These guys really know what they are doing. Our job consisted of so much stuff - re-programming and organizing a rats nest of an equipment rack. They mounted two largeTVs onto our marble walls. Super scary but came out perfect. Get Wired Tec did an excellent job with the security camera installation on our home. Solomon came out to do the initial walk-through and assess the situation and provided some great options/estimates to meet our needs. We ended up hiring them to install 6 security cameras with smart features, as well as a ring doorbell. On the day of the installation, the technicians Hector and Robert, were right on time in the morning and ready to work. They both worked together very well to navigate through a tricky attic situation for the install and they both had great attitudes while doing so. Everyone was super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Everything with the installation was done with great care and attention to detail. I also really like the camera hardware that was recommended for our system. The user interface has really useful AI alert/detection and various other customizable features which have come in very handy so far. All of the hardware/equipment that was installed is also very durable and of great quality. Overall, the entire security camera system was well thought out and has been working fantastic so far. It feels good to have the peace of mind knowing that we have a very reliable security camera system in place to protect our home. We had Get Wired come out and update our 12 year old On-Q router/network switch/wifi and update cables to Cat6 throughout our home. Adam came and gave us a bid with 3 different options to go with and varying costs. The day of install Adam came and did the work, Solomon showed up to help at one point. They did an amazing job. Everything works great, they kept everything clean and the speed in all areas of the home is great. They even made the smart panel in my closet look amazing by getting rid of unnecessary wires and pulling the excess wires back into the wall. We ended up with Eero PoE 6 and a Araknis Networks 110 Series. This is the second time I have had them out and will have them again should a situation arise. These guys were awesome in putting our surround system together! We did a Dolby Atmos placement. They wired everything behind the walls and installed 4 ceiling speakers. They also wired in an Ethernet cord. They had to cut into our drywall, but they were very careful and precise so we wouldn't have a difficult time patching it ourselves. These guys are very knowledgeable about speaker placement and, at the same time, very easygoing in doing what you ask them. They finished the job in just a few hours!
