Golan and his crew are true masters at what they do. We had them come install Unifi home network and cameras, along with some theater work, and they were amazing from start to finish. Communicative, professional, punctual, and friendly. Due to the nature of the installations, jobs can take days which meant he was booked quite a ways out. We asked for his earliest availability because our move-in was going to be dependent upon the installation, and he started work on a Sunday. Pretty much unheard of and I was super surprised! The quality of work is indisputable and I have no regrets. Wires hidden--he was adamant about making things look the best they can even when we were whatever about it if it was easier--and everything installed beautifully. Cost wasn't cheap especially with the Unifi equipment but it was very fair, and I don't know how much better it can get than this for a regular homeowner. My friend is a huge Unifi nerd and my husband a huge A/V nerd and neither had a single complaint. And they installed a recessed box and put up my Frame without charging me for it! Gave suggestions on how best to do it, brought the parts, and got it all setup. My electrician then added an outlet to the box and the base of the wall so everything is cleaaaan. Team work makes the dream work! Can't recommend Gbit enough. read more

We couldn't be happier with the network upgrade GBIT Tech LLC completed at our home. Golan and his team -- Jose and Segundo -- were phenomenal from start to finish! Jose and Segundo worked tirelessly for over 12 hours, from morning until night, to get the job done right. They upgraded our existing Cat5 Ethernet jacks throughout multiple rooms to the latest standard, and even added two additional Ethernet ports in different parts of the home. A special thank you to Golan personally -- he was incredibly kind and professional throughout the entire process, especially with my parents. They were beyond thrilled with his work and how well he treated them. The professionalism, work ethic, and quality of the finished product were outstanding. It's clear this team takes pride in their work. Highly recommend GBIT Tech LLC for anyone looking to upgrade their home network -- you won't be disappointed. Consider yourself blessed if you are able to work with a professional like Golan and his wonderful team! I am greatly looking forward to our next project together! Thank you! read more

Hired Golan to install a new Ubiquiti system with Unifi G6 cameras and I have to say Golan knows his stuff! He was so patient with me during our first meeting from answering all my questions to helping me make the right decisions on equipment needs. On the day of install, Golan and his team were fantastic. They worked carefully and with respect, something which can be a hit or miss with contractors. Golan consistently went above and beyond on answering questions and finding solutions to unique challenges. He's also as picky as I am on making sure everything is perfect! Golan is truly an artist when it comes to making sure your rack looks clean and organized. Don't hesitant to hire him! read more

Gbit Tech did an amazing job with our home low-voltage / networking install. Golan and his team ran high-speed networking throughout the house, wired up multiple ceiling access points, installed a fully wired security camera system, and mounted a couple TVs with clean in-wall wiring. Everything was routed back to a central rack in the basement, and the work was neat, organized, and actually tested. Not just "looks good," but properly finished. I also came in with a lot of specific requirements and definitely took us down a few rabbit holes. Golan was totally game to go there with me and think through the weird edge cases, but when things started getting a little too "okay, this is getting ridiculous," he'd pull me back and steer me toward a smarter, cleaner solution. I genuinely appreciated that. What really stood out is it never felt like he was trying to upsell me. Just honest advice, solid recommendations, and a clear priority on making sure I was happy with the end result. Professional, responsive, and detail-oriented. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

I can't recommend Golan and the team at Gbit Tech highly enough. They were incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to work closely with us to make sure the UniFi solution fit our exact needs. Their quality work throughout the project was impressive, and we couldn't be happier with the results. If you're considering a network or security upgrade - or even if you're just curious about your options--don't hesitate to reach out to Golan. You'll be in great hands. read more

Golan Maman and his crew were excellent in cabling and setting up my home network. Highly recommend and would use them again.

Golan is absolutely THE "structural tech" C7 contractor, a true ARTIST, installing high quality "invisible" WIRELESS internet systems absent usual drilling through walls & damaging older to modern valuable homes / gardens. He also installs business/ commercial/ residential internet server & security systems. His knowledge, CREATIVITY, and direct problem solving skills are vast. Golan gives free estimates, responds quickly to calls, & arranges appts fast esp if he's in the area. Golan is DEF WELL worth a quote before choosing any C7 contractor. His website is "tech artistry" - pics are proof of his exceptional skills. Golan came for an estimate to assess my outdated residential internet equipment. He amicably informed me local cable company could do what I wanted & needed. He also showed & explained VIP points in clear gentleman's manner. Such integrity is RARE in today's $$ hungry contractors, gently turning down a job, assuring me it'll be OK & he's "at my service" IF anything goes awry. Golan knew I really wanted to hire him for "non damaging" internet upgrade. Ultimately the update/ install by cable co was free due to promo & my insisting & getting an experienced tech. This is NOT why I'm writing this review. Golan's insight was golden when scheduling a tech from cable co, bc he "verified" VIP points a good tech appreciates. Re appts, Golan is timely, texts updates IF his arrival time changes, & is efficiently thorough in 20 -30 minutes. You won't feel rushed or a "cash cow number" from Golan. His knowledge & keen eye causes time efficiency, answering your inquiries, even if you change goals. Golan is NOT cheap nor uses degradation products, favors Unifi / Ubiquiti brands. Yet he's also budget conscious, catering to YOUR unique needs & desires. Golan is a rare gem of a certified C7 contractor & human being. You won't regret getting at least a free estimate bc of vital advice, facts & ideas you'll receive from him. If you retain him, you'll be very pleased with results. read more

I needed service with an outdated Network / Camera system, but the company who installed them wouldn't even bother getting back to me. Looking for someone else, I came across GBIT Tech and countless positive Yelp reviews. I contacted Golan who responded to me immediately, and the ball began rolling to where we are now. Count me within the five star reviews as Golan has come through and provided everything that was needed and beyond, what I didn't even know I needed!! Golan and his team installed an entire new Ubiquiti network supporting and providing Internet / WiFi and Security Cameras through my entire property. The system is incredible and the install immaculate ! Golan makes sure the equipment looks as good installed as it functions. If you need anything re: internet, Wi-Fi, security cameras, door camera, don't waste anymore time and just contact Golan / GBIT Tech. You will not be disappointed! Aaron P. read more

Couldn't be happier with Gbit Tech. They were the most competitive cost saving business I could find to fix my broken intercom to the house. I found this place through Yelp and after a short call there after I had someone at my house to not only fix but to replace my very old broken stand alone intercom to my house. He placed in a new intercom that connects to an app on my phone so that I know exactly who is trying to reach me at my gate. The service was impeccable and the pricing was the best rate I could find at just $5K. I couldn't be happier with the friendly service they provide along with the customer care. read more

One of the few times I'm going out of my way to post.. If you are looking for someone who truly knows their stuff and genuinely cares about helping people, Golan is the one to call. I reached out to him on a Monday morning for help setting up my home internet network with Ubiquiti U6 Pro Access Points. They were partially installed but not fully configured, and I had hit a wall trying to get everything working. Right away, Golan offered to give me tips over the phone free of charge--something you don't see often. I told him I was at my wit's end and that I was even willing to pay for someone just to diagnose the issue. But that's not what motivated him. Since he was already in the area for another job, he simply offered to swing by when he had time--no obligation, no mention of payment. He showed up, took one quick look at the system, and within a minute, pinpointed the exact issue. A couple of small adjustments later, everything was working perfectly. Not only did he refuse payment, but he also took the time to explain what went wrong so I could avoid the issue in the future. This level of honesty, kindness, and expertise is rare these days. Golan could have easily charged me for a full service call, but instead, he helped just because he could. That speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. If you need IT/networking help, don't hesitate--Golan is the real deal. Highly highly recommend this man. read more

I highly recommend Golan and his team!! I spoke with Golan around October of last year to help me get my new home wired up with Ethernet in all the rooms, and also terminate all of the cat6 cables to a patch panel in my utility closet (picture attached). I also had very particular requests RE what I wanted, and Golan worked with me every step of the way and recommended equipment, gave advice throughout, and always answered my many frantic emails asking him questions. I was originally planning on doing all of the work myself, but I'm so glad I didn't. Golan and his team wired the whole house up in a few hours (which would have probably taken me multiple days or even weeks if I'm being honest...). All their work is super clean and organized too (they are experts in cable management). So please -- Go with Golan and his team for your techie needs!! read more

Gbit Tech - Patch Panel that Golan set up (the messy cables in the back of the router are from ME not him!) - Home Network Installation Near Me

Golan has been such an amazing help. I had an issue with a camera that a previous tech had installed and decided to come over and look at the issue before he would quote me anything. I told him what happened with the other tech and he decided to bring another test camera and decided to let me keep it free of charge. He wanted me to test whether it was a power supply issue or camera issue. I can not express how grateful I am for his services. Would highly recommend coming to him for larger projects. Definitely will be the first company to contact when I need to upgrade my camera system. read more

What went well? Frankly, everything. I wanted to switch my security cameras from wifi to hard-wired to prevent the possibility of a jammer blocking my system. Golan made great recommendations and his install team did excellent work and left my house broom-clean. Further, Golan was completely transparent with his bid (which was very competitive) and he responded quickly to questions or to advise on system settings, etc. Now I've got a great system with high-resolution cameras and feel more secure knowing that I can access the cameras from everywhere. I'm not easy to please and am always leary about contractors that I don't know. Golan hit it out of the park. I trust him and would recommend him in a heartbeat. read more

Golan was the perfect professional for the job, start to finish. We worked together to plan out an server rack / AV closet and he was extremely patient, knowledgeable, fun to work with, professional and I couldn't imagine a better person for any home networking or general purpose tech job in a residential or commercial setting. I wanted to set up a custom rack in a closet that had 30+ cables that needed toning, a UniFi setup, pretty complicated media room and speaker setup and assorted electronics. Golan started early in the morning, picking up parts on a rainy day, and then started work professionally - covid safe, always making sure to be careful around the house and didn't leave any evidence behind that he was there, which is a tough feat given he had to go throughout the home to tone all the cables. Most importantly, he was meticulous and showed care for the setup, to a degree that I feel someone would only show for their own networking setup to be perfect. See photos for really nicely done patch panel with labels, all wires labeled nicely, room for growth and really understanding all the components of the system. As for price, his price was extremely fair especially given the amount of time and care he put into the process, working tirelessly through the day and into the night (literally) to get the job done to the degree of professionalism he was happy with. He was also super friendly, patient in trouble shooting and explaining steps to have me be a little more dangerous along the way. All in all, amazing service and couldn't recommend anyone more strongly in the space than Golan of Gbit Tech! read more

This review is overdue. Golan rewired our home's entire cable, internet, camera and speaker system because we moved in and discovered none of it was operable. When other companies were telling us how complicated and expensive a job it would be, Golan came in with a fair quote and told us it was easy. I mean...I don't even know where to begin with how amazing Golan is. He was referred to me by a good friend of mine and I am so thrilled to have hired Golan for my whole home internet networking installation as well as some speaker setup. You seriously just need to stop reading all of the positive reviews and just hire Golan right now. If you want to keep reading though, I'm just going to gush about how awesome he is. When looking for someone to do any kind of job you look for communication, punctuality, patience, and knowledge. Golan encompasses all of these and what is better still...talking to him makes you feel like you are best friends and could just hang out all day. Granted, I'm a nerd as well, so we hit it off well. Golan is just one of those people who you know gets along with everyone though. Golan and I initially talked about setting up a whole home networking solution in my house and the job ended up being easier since the home was pre-wired. There were also some speaker wires for the family room already there as well as speakers outside and he took the time to check to make sure they were active and working AND labeled them so they are ready to be connected when we move into our new home. I seriously cannot say enough nice things about Golan and I cannot wait to work on future projects with him. I attached before and after photos of his work. He takes great pride in what he does. Just do the smart thing and hire him. read more

Best best best service I could ever find on Yelp. If there was 6 stars I would rate 6 stars. Golan came to the house to set up the ubiquiti machine and other access point. He explained everything very patiently, give professional suggestions of where to set the access point. The working scene is very clean. He clean all the old wires and sort the new ones. Very reasonable price and excellent job. After the installation he helped me to connect all the smart home services to the phone and even cleaned the camera. 100% recommended. read more

I would recommend GBIT Tech unequivocally to anyone. Golan is the paragon of what a professional technician should be -- highly skilled, great at communicating to folks with less technical knowledge, friendly, efficient, meticulous, punctual. Simply one of the best people to ever have done any work on my house in all the years I've lived here. We hired him to do what for him is a relatively small home networking job, but he treated it like it was the most important thing in the world. He made sure we understood all the details, discussed a few different options and then quickly got to work once we agreed on the plan. Everything went as he said it would, on time and for the price he quoted us. And he made sure to test it all thoroughly and walk us through any options for changes we might want to make to our network in the future. So long as Golan is around here and still working, I will never hire anyone else for Network Installation, AV Installation or any of the other myriad technical skills and capabilities he's mastered. He's just so great at every aspect of his work. Don't hesitate to call him today. read more

This is a long overdue review. I've hired Gbit Tech several times over the years to install network cables in my house and I can't recommend Golan highly enough. I live in an older home with limited attic access and each time Golan has been able to find creative and cost-effective solutions for me. I work in tech and I can confidently say that he knows his stuff. His installs are very clean and engineered to last (unlike my previous installer). Thanks to him my network has been running flawlessly. Highly recommended! read more

GBIT is amazing. I used to work in IT and have hired many cabling companies but Golan and his team went above and beyond. I hired GBIT to do a brand new ethernet install in our new home. 20+ ports and multiple access points. The quality of their cabling/organization was amazing. They had to squeeze cable through some SUPER tight spots - but they did it! No cutting corners. He routed everything to one central place (including our modem) and helped me get everything configured and optimized. I also greatly appreciated how much he respected our home and didn't make dirt tracks and always cleaned up after himself. And Golan is just an amazing person overall. This dude works HARD and always had a super positive attitude. He always lifted my spirits - even when I was going through the heavy stress of getting the new home ready before the move. Great guy. Great service. Couldn't recommend GBIT enough. read more

I am so happy I chose Golan to help me install ethernet cables with access points, and my security cameras. From beginning to end Golan listened to my needs and went above and beyond to make sure the job was done well. Even though it was not part of the job, he helped me remove an old satellite dish from the roof of my two-story home and remove old cables for no extra cost. His team works really hard and I really appreciate the care they put into the job. What sets apart from everyone else is his follow up. When I had questions about my Internet speed, he came by to make sure I was satisfied. He is really passionate about what he does, and making customers happy. He really looks out for you. The best part is he offers a very reasonable price. I will definitely call him again in the future. read more

Hiring Gbit to handle my rat's nest of a tech closet was the best decision I could have made. If you're reading through the reviews trying to gauge who the best person is for your specific job, I'd be willing to bet that you care about how the end result will look and most importantly work. Golan came to my house today on Memorial Day to survey my issue. He figured out a really clever way to bring an ethernet connection to a distant part of the house saving me from a much bigger job. Golan was great with helping us with our Doorbird Intercom system. It was installed last year by someone else and the guy that installed it ( who was recommended by our security fence guy ) talked about a button to exit. He talked so fast about the whole Doorbird system. We were confused by it all and figured we would understand it when it was in. Once it was in it seemed so complicated about where to install this exit button with this guy that we didn't do anything and used the phone app. So we decide to find someone else and called West Coast Locksmith that said they worked on Doorbirds and that was just as bad as the first guy with another fast and impatient talker. So we called Golan and he was great! He spent time looking at what our options would be and then presented them to us. He gave us a keypad on the other side of the fence too which the other two people didn't even talk about. It's working great! We so appreciate what he did and he is a really great guy to work with. He will be our go-to guy in the future. read more

My experience with Gbit Tech was one the most satisfactory (dare I say enjoyable) and professional experiences I've had with any company or contractor period. Golan was extremely pleasant, responsive, and engaged in my network wiring problem. I had a home networking cabling issue, where I needed to unify existing infrastructure. They were able to find a time that worked for me to come out to work. All and any questions were answered, before and during the work. He communicates honestly and often. He is knowledgeable (licensed), careful, and took time time to get the job done cleanly and correctly, despite any curveballs along the way. And they leave a clean work site when finished. It's refreshing to find someone/a company that cares about the quality of work they do, top to bottom, solving the problem(s), and satisfying their customer. Highly recommend. Our Doorbird stopped working and Golan was able to find and fix the problem -- identifying where the fault in a 200 foot long cable (some of which was underground and some on the roof) had occurred.
