Purchased a new house that had some existing networking done, but the company that had installed the networking was unresponsive and needed a new company to come up and finish setting up our network, doorbird and cameras. Golan and the team at Gbit were awesome work with - very responsive and professional, very good prices and did good quality work. Will def. use them for future projects (already discussed having them do an outdoor speaker system) and would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

Outstanding service. Would highly recommend for all Ubiquiti services. Was very happy with Golan and the service he offered.

Golan was great, he was available on very short notice over the weekend and got my Unifi system back up and running. No pressure to buy anything and he answers and explains anything you ask. Will not hesitate to call him back in the future. read more

Gbit Tech - Unifi set up in cabinet - Home Network Installation Near Me

Golan is incredibly knowledgable and has integrity to boot. He installed cameras around the exterior of our home and was so thorough and accommodating, patiently answering every question. He explained every step of the process and made sure everything was right as he went along. He is super sharp, incredibly professional and really listens. At the end of the job the only evidence that he was there were the cameras and a tidy box of cords we'll need in the future. He even took the time to assess some wiring and give an honest evaluation of an existing system. Very happy to have found him and truly value how honest and trustworthy he is. We'll definitely have him back for future projects. Highly recommend him! read more

GBIT and Golan are the best you can get, look no further. I used to cut and run my own cable for work, and have worked in software for over 25 years, but when it came to my new home, I wanted help. I already had a wireless modem/router and wireless setup working, but in a new 4 bedroom home, and 2 adults working from home and 2 kids on internet with school and gaming, I wanted LAN/wired connections to lighten the load. From day 1, I knew I had the right guy, his responses and follow through were great. When it came to the estimate, Golan understood what I needed, made great suggestions, had 2 walk throughs as it was a large house and they'd have to either go up/attic, or down under to get all the wiring in place. He was thorough, and his quote was very reasonable. When it came to the work, he and his team worked around my scheduled meetings, my kids and pets and all, and they were clean, neat, organized, efficient, and very respectful. I've been up and running smoothly for a few months now, and not only would I hire him again if needed but can give him my highest recommendation. The experience and the results could not have been better. Thank you Golan and GBIT! read more

Golan went above and beyond. A pleasure of a guy who was honest and diligent in his work. Golan had an in depth inspection of my home networking prior to being hired for the job, extremely thorough. He installed my DoorBird intercom system and IP camera. Works like a charm. I highly recommend him. Thank you, Golan! read more

Gbit Tech - DoorBird and camera installation - Home Network Installation Near Me

Needed Cat6 ethernet hardwire/port installed in home office. Had to be run from the modem in the living room across the house. Golan was great; he came out and did an in-person inspection. It was nice working with him as he offered a number of solutions to the problem and did not insist it had to be done in just one way. I even asked him to add on an additional, smaller task during the day of install which he kindly obliged. Overall very happy with the price and the quality of work. I will be reaching out to Gbit Tech again for any other low voltage installation/upgrade needs! read more

Absolutely fantastic! Called Golan to clean up and add ends to 49 ethernet cables and mount a tv in our new office. Not only was he HALF the price of 2 other people, he was here the next day and offered to do it at night so we could move into our office quicker! He is very responsive, quick, does great work and gave us a great deal. He is very professional and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend and he accepts credit cards! read more

Great company. Had them run some ethernet to wire up some places in the house. Was super quick in showing up, quick and reliable estimate. We set a time for the job, and he ended up having a cancellation and it worked for both of us, so he showed right up. Great, quick service - exactly what I was hoping for. read more

I was in need of a home surveillance system and asked someone I trust for a referral. He spoke highly of GBit so I reached out to Golan. Not too long thereafter, he came to my residence to provide an assessment. Watching Golan at work is a real treat. You can tell right away he isn't there to sell or pitch you. He's there to provide you with a solution to your needs. Not only did Golan provide a solution to my surveillance needs, he also assisted us with expanding our wifi signal throughout our home. If every vendor we had that worked on our home had Golan's work ethic and integrity, my life would have been a walk in the park. After receiving bids from others prior to choosing Golan, I realized his pricing was extremely competitive. Working with Golan has been a treat and a collaboration. I wouldn't dare think of using another low voltage electrician for my future needs. I highly recommend GBit and Golan!! read more

We're so fortunately to have found GBIT for our home networking project. I don't typically write reviews until the completion of the project (we're about 75% done) but I've truly had such a wonderfully smooth process that I had to share my experience so far. From the start, Golan was patient and responsive - always providing great suggestions and flexibility. I described what we needed with our home network system and he jumped right in and coordinated his work seamlessly with all of our other service providers. I was not the only one impressed by his professionalism as our electrician and cabinet makers all thoroughly enjoyed working with him as well. During a home remodeling project that can be quite stressful, it's so refreshing to actually find someone who can lessen that stress load and who you can completely trust to provide quality work. read more

"It's true. All of it...it's all true" - Han Solo That's what I said to myself as Golan and his team networked my new house. I had read so many reviews, all glowing about how amazing Golan was and what an amazing job he had done and I thought "Ok ok sure, he probably got a few people to do some reviews but I want to know what he's REALLY like. Not EVERY experience can be glowing". Well...I guess I was wrong, because Golan lived up to every single positive review he has and surpassed it. He came out to the house and did a thorough inspection to help me determine the best place to drop in ethernet hardlines and never once said "nope, Impossible...can't do it". He would just say "hmmm...that's a tricky one, but I think I have an idea". He always had solutions and ultimately, he was able to get me ethernet in every single room I wanted, even the ones that seemed incredibly difficult. On the day of the installation, he showed up early to get his team familiar with the house and was ready to go right at the promised start time. He was so fast and efficient that I almost forgot at one point that he was there! If that wasn't enough, I called an audible and asked if i could add one more drop in a room we hadn't talked about in the quote, and he didn't even flinch and added the drop for no extra charge. After the installation was done, he stayed behind while his team cleaned up and made sure every single drop worked to its maximum capacity. Even after that, he answered a few tech questions I had about some intercoms in my house...not for an extra charge, but just because he has a genuinely curious nature and was excited to play with them and see if they worked. Overall...the reviews are all true. Moving into this new house has meant doing a ton of work and working with a ton of contractors. Almost every single one of them has given me a headache and a problem....except for Golan. He is the gold standard and I would call him back out for any of my tech needs in a heartbeat. read more

Was essentially scammed by Sam at Onboard IT Tech. Called Golan the same day and he had our system completely up and running in a little over an hour and for a fraction of the price. Professional, helpful and friendly - can't get better than that. read more

I can't say enough good things about Golan and Gbit, I wish he could do every single project in my house! We hired him to upgrade our intercom system to a doorbird, but was also super knowledgeable about ring and nest and talked us through our options. He came out and did a very extensive consult free of charge and we immediately knew we wanted to work with him. He is so nice, obviously knows his stuff and was extremely conscientious about health and safety--was wearing two masks and put on fresh booties every time he came into our home. His pricing was competitive and he was so kind with my four year old son who is fascinated by this type of work. He even went above and beyond and made some small additional repairs and organized our electronic closet just to help us out. Lastly, he's super responsive and it was very easy to communicate with him through text. Honestly, do yourself a favor and hire Golan. He's top notch. We'll have him back to do outdoor cameras for us, my son is counting the days. read more

This is my second review. I can't say enough about Golan and his company. It was decided to replace my previous system which was installed with cutting corners by a different company who wanted to charge me 100.00 to answer questions over the phone. Golan provided state of the art components and installed in a few hours with such care. A few days later I was having difficulty working the system and Golan offered to drive over on a Sunday to explain. Not necessary but his offer showed his commitment to exceptional customer service. I highly recommend him and his company. You won't be disappointed read more

Golan and Hugo were amazing. They were extremely friendly, very fast and they knew exactly what they were doing. They ran into a few unexpected obstacles and were able to explain what they were going to do, walked me through the process and now my internet is screaming. My experience with Gbit was above and beyond. They offered a free walkthrough estimate which helped Golan understand exactly what I needed before initiating any services. Golan hardwired and relocated all the wall jacks to one location. He was thorough and made sure I was satisfied with each task before continuing. Golan was prompt, professional, patient, and a perfectionist. read more

Fantastic service! Golan researched what I needed since it was obsolete, found it online and sent me the link, all in a matter of hours after initial visit. Able to schedule installation within a few days. His quote way very reasonable and although he took a lot longer than planned, would not take additional compensation. He reprogrammed my old unit, cleaned it out meticulously, put it back together and left me with a fully working, albeit, obsolete system (by choice.) I will not only highly recommend him to anyone looking for low voltage expertise, but call him and only him for future work on my system or to upgrade it. read more

From the first professional email when I requested a quote to the last bit of testing of the delivered cabling, Gbit Tech demonstrated competence, attention to detail and a level of customer care that is a breath of fresh air. Golan worked with me on the specs, going above to understand my needs and the environment. The price of the project was finessed within my budget. And his team was always there on time (even early) . Golan is prompt, professional, creative at problem solving and fair pricing. Our tenants at our duplex had a break in and one of the Security contractors we contacted was Gbit Tech. Golan had the best solutions for security cams for our property, installed Ring Cams, coordinated with our tenants and now everyone is very happy and safe! Golan's solutions lined up with what the police told our tenants to do too. 2 weeks later Golan fixed our broken DoorBird electric striker at our residence in 15min! He's now our go to security guy. read more

My internet access stopped Thanksgiving night. Working with the ISP, I got the signal back as far as the modem. The router seemed OK but wouldn't connect to the range extenders. Because of the construction of the house, it meant no internet access except where it came into the house. I reached Golan directly on the Friday and got an appointment for Tuesday. I believed there was something seriously wrong in the wifi system as it had not responded at all to basic "first aid:" restarting, reconnecting, rebooting, etc. Golan took the system home and worked on it until he established a specific product defect in the router, the likely cause of the whole fiasco. We discussed alternative wifi solutions. Ultimately I bought new equipment to patch into my system. Golan has just finished installing it, helping me set up the app to manage it and speed checking it. His price was more than reasonable. Throughout he was polite, informative, helpful, hardworking and cheerful. All questions were good. All requests met. I have never been happier with a supplier. Most hate conundrums. Golan worked at one until he solved it. That freed me from all concerns about reusing the same system. I can't recommend him highly enough. Tidy, too. read more

BEFORE Gbit: kilobits AFTER Gbit: Megabits...Thank you Golan!! Even though I had a range extender, my streaming fitness classes were interrupted by slow/intermittent WiFi. Gbit quickly solved the problem by connecting my 2 WiFi base stations via Ethernet. I trust Gbit with all my future networking and automation projects. read more

This is long overdue, but last fall Golan installed a comprehensive wifi network with hardwired access points in multiple rooms of my house and backyard ADU, AND full outdoor coverage. Six months later it's literally never skipped a beat and I can stream 4K movies in my yard. Can honestly say it's the best money I've ever spent on my house. read more

Amazingly skilled technician. Courteous and quick to respond. Explains the issues and the details of the problem and what the fix is as he undertakes the work. Golan was exceptional. We moved into a new house with existing security cameras that were not functioning and a system we were locked out of. After a persistent two hours on his initial visit, all of our security cameras were functioning properly and we were set up with a new login to our system. Golan is an expert with a great attitude that solves problems and gets things done. I would highly recommend him, especially to new home owners looking for someone who can really help with on-boarding. read more

Great, honest and knowledgeable professional who focuses on quality and great customer service . A+++ pro , my go to for future projects .

The original installation of security cameras at my rental location was not performed correctly. After reality had sunk-in, I realized that the 'original' contractor was ignoring my calls, and was never coming back to make any of the repairs. I found Gbit Tech online, and gave them a call. Golan scheduled an onsite visit the same day, and was able to resolve all my security camera issues and helped setup a recording schedule that provided 30-day retention. I also had an issue with my Eero WiFi that was also resolved during the same day visit. If you ever need a professional, reliable, and punctual security camera installation company, you need to call Gbit Tech. read more

Needed three ethernet cables run under our house from one side to the other. Gbit Tech did a terrific job. Once they got under the house it turned out to be a lot move complicated than they had figured but they kept the original estimate, and more importantly kept focused on our needs for appearance and location of wall plugs. Great customer service! A very positive attitude. And clearly experts in their business. I strongly recommend Golan and Gbit for any in-house internet needs. read more
