I've…read morebeen a customer for over 10 years, and I've never experienced customer service like I did today. I came in today (Thursday) at around 10:10 a.m. There were two employees working, and both of them seemed unhappy and acted like they didn't want to help anyone. I asked a simple question about my second phone, and they made me feel like I was bothering them. They were unfriendly, impatient, and didn't seem interested in helping at all. This was by far the worst customer service I've ever received at this location. No customer deserves to be treated that way. Unfortunately, I don't remember their names, but I hope management looks into what happened this morning.

The last time I went into that location was a nightmare…read more They were offering a discount on a phone. I wanted to just buy it outright. The young woman told me I had to make two payments on it before I could pay it off. That should have been my clue to leave. Sadly I didn't. She does the paperwork & I get the phone. That's when the horribly long wait started while she tried a bunch of things to move my info from the old phone to the new one. She 'worked' on it for about 2 hours and never made it happen... There were two additional employees present - a manager, and another staff person. The three of them were having a lot of personal conversation. I don't think that any of them were over the age of 22. (I'm being generous.) The only reason I bring up that is because the manager was clueless that part of the conversations was standard HR violation...that 1) NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED 2) NEVER BEEN SAID IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS! She asked one of the guys to take over because she had to go buy some medication. She was having a female monthly problem. (She wasn't that delicate.) In the meantime while I had been waiting...forever...I started having a medical issue & had to go. I told her numerous times to stop, that I had to leave. She was either ignoring me or just plain oblivious. (I'm guessing she was oblivious.) Finally I got angry & raised my voice. That got the manager's attention. He came over and stopped her. They packed up my stuff and I left. I was on my way to the ER when I realized that I didn't have my phone, they hadn't put it in the bag!SOOO I had to go back and get it! The whole experience was pretty much a sh-t show. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ When I first started with T-Mobile that was the location I went to & I got great service. That continued for several years. However it has devolved down to this. I won't EVER go back there again. T-Mobile Corp needs to get on the ball. They need to hire managers who can do the job. The managers need to when staff members aren't actually doing their job & wasting customer's time. They need to make sure they provide good, appropriate customer environment. And for Pete's sake have HR train managers & staff about what is and isn't appropriate in the work place. That is, unless T-Mobile likes to be sued.

The whole thing was just odd from the start.(I have worked at geek squad in the past) The checkout usually checks the returns in front of the customer but in this situation they took across the other side of the store and had me waiting for a while. I love Marlen !! About a year ago I wanted to switch from Verizon to T-mobile. So I drove from Lancaster all the way to the Van Nuys store because my friend recommended me and said there was a girl there with Amazing Customer Service. Marlen didn't fall short! She is amazing!!! I absolutely love her personality and willingness to help and answer all my questions. I sent my sister there today and I was even more happier with that store and most importantly Marlen. I told her she should ask for her, and they fell in love with her too!! All around amazing! She is the perfect example of what a great customer representative should be!! I will continue to drive an hour away just to be able to be helped by her! Thank you Marlen! & thank you T-mobile for hiring such amazing personnel! read more

There's one employee that i had an issue with today. Terrible attitude and obviously does not know how to work under pressure when they get extremely busy. I waited for an hour with absolutely no complaints and when it was finally my turn he decided to give ME attitude when i asked him to inform me about the deals (after waiting for really long). While I'm in the middle of explaining my wants he completely ignores me and begins to talk to a customer that's complaining. He begins to argue back and forth and even his own COWORKER had to tell him to calm down. his name began with an F i don't remember the full name though. I will definitely not be coming back here. It was a Saturday morning at 11:30 am, that was my appointment time. I'm a Sprint customer. Once inside, I was greeted by the Manager, Alexander who had all my information on an iPad. With a smile on his face, he escorted me to meet Amanda who also greeted me with a smile. She look up my account and proceeded to upgrade my iPhone to the T-Mobile network so with the new SIM Card installed, I was good to go. I didn't need to upgrade my plan at this time, that will happen when Sprint & T-Mobile are one and the same. Amanda asked if I needed anything else, No, I replied and thanked her. I've been constantly losing signal and getting "No Service" to the point where I sometimes can't even make calls. Interestingly, these problems started after the major Verizon outage in LA when I had no service for almost two days. I explained all of this to her, and she immediately blamed my phone. She even told me that because a new iPhone is coming out, that's probably why I'm suddenly having issues with my current one -- which was a pretty bizarre explanation. She told me to go to Apple and have my phone checked, so I did. Apple ran diagnostics and troubleshooting and found no problems with my device. What bothered me most was that she refused to actually troubleshoot anything herself. No resets, no network configuration, nothing. I specifically asked, "Is there anything you can do? Can you take my phone and reset something or check the configuration?" She literally never even took my phone into her hands. I later went to a different Verizon location, and the employees there were surprised that this store hadn't even performed the basic troubleshooting procedures they normally do. Really disappointing experience. I came in specifically asking for help with my Verizon service and felt like the goal was simply to get me out of the store rather than investigate the problem. I would absolutely recommend going to a different Verizon location.
