Been a customer for 7yrs and relaized my bill was over $120 for Fiber 500-I called to lower my bill and first spoke to curtis who put me on hold mutiple times and generally did not care to help , he passed me off to chris who apparently is an ESL student or victim of TBI and was less than useless. Next was Corey- who sent me to the correct person once I asked" how do I drop off my equiptment". Finally, Alicia- in retention- We got my bill down to a1/3 of what I was paying. Anyone thinking about switching to Frontier (by Verizon)? Do yourself a favor and don't. We switched to Frontier (by Verizon). What's mess. Worked for several months. Then out of the blue, zero services - no Internet (we have jobs and kids who need access for school) and since TV came over the line, none of that either. Every morning, noon and evening I'd get a text saying restoration of service by X (i.e. 4pm the same day). After a day or two that showed itself to be a straight lie. No human to talk to on the phone, either. This baiting fraud went on for two weeks until we switched back to Spectrum. They owed me $7.01 per their recurring bill and kept it for months and months instead of just sending me a check. Eventually they sent a prepaid MasterCard I never requested containing my $7.01 which, if I activated, screwed me over with annual fees, etc. I finally got in touch with someone in the Philippines who said they'd send me a check; haven't gotten it yet - been about a week. Frontier is about the worst company with which i've had the displeasure of doing business. Shady and unfair business practices at every turn, in my view. I am having an absolutely terrible experience trying to get internet set up at our home, and unfortunately, we have very limited provider options. I originally ordered service on March 31st... and it's been a mess ever since. I've had multiple appointments confirmed, all requiring someone to be home for a 4-hour window, and not a single technician has shown up. I call the day before, the day of, and each time I'm assured someone is coming, only for no one to arrive. The number of hours I've spent waiting around and on the phone (over an hour today) is honestly unbelievable (and not in a good way). What's even more frustrating is the lack of communication and coordination, internally, they don't even seem aligned on what's happening. They make it as difficult as possible to speak with an actual person. we had our internet out almost 48 hours ago. they send a signal, it works for 4 min and goes off again. We had to do this at least 5 times before they agreed to send someone out. my husband has been waiting for them all day. they sent there signal to the box, that made it work for a couple of minutes and cancelled our tech .... that BTW, they threaten you with a fee for, without even taking to us. our internet was gone again 4 minutes later. I received a promo for free 3 months and a $100 visa GC if I signed up. Such a great deal why not! Fyi: not worth your time. I signed up and schedule a fiber optic install date. The date comes by and no one shows up. Few days later the installer comes, fortunately I was home and was able to let them do their thing. After it was installed the person stated that now a frontier tech will schedule an appointment to install the service. The tech that came and installed the service was great. He was quick and able to help troubleshoot some other issue I was having with my network switch. I receive a notified that I have my first payment coming up. Wait I thought I got 3 months free? I hit up the live chat and they stated they can't do anything about it and to call frontier. I call frontier and it took over 1 hour to receive a live person. I mention to them that I was suppose to get 3 months free and they looked into it and decided to credit my account for this billing. They then stated for the next 2 billing cycles to get credit I would have to CALL again each time for them to apply the promo. I signed up for 3 months free and I have to call each time to have them apply the credit? They said thats just how it is. Internet so far reliable and quick. Customer service - TERRIBLE. If I knew I had to call every time for credit I wouldn't have signed up. I believe. Now i'm locked into a year service or else I would have to pay termination fees. When Frontier's fiber service became available in our neighborhood, I was one of the first to sign up. It hasn't disappointed. The download speeds are at or near the promised 1 GB, what makes fiber different is the upload speed is also identical. I did hesitate becoming a Frontier customer given their past reputation for poor customer service, but that hasn't been my experience. I've had service techs visit me twice, both on time and successful with their service. Price point is a bIt higher than the competing cable service (then again, you kinda have to get their cell service to get the best deal). I originally contacted Frontier in April 2026 to cancel my Internet service. During that call, I spent approximately 40-45 minutes attempting to complete a simple cancellation. Rather than processing my cancellation, the representative repeatedly attempted to persuade me to accept different services, plans, and pricing options. I repeatedly and clearly stated that I was not interested in any alternative service or plan and wanted my Internet service canceled. At the conclusion of that call, I was led to believe that the cancellation had been processed and that Frontier would send me a return box so that I could return the required equipment. The box never arrived. Because I had already obtained and begun using another Internet provider, I had no reason to continue Frontier service or accept a new Frontier plan. I subsequently contacted Frontier multiple additional times because I still had not received the equipment-return box. Each time, I was told that a box would be sent. I continued waiting, but the box was never received. My husband also contacted Frontier regarding the same issue and was given essentially the same response. We have documentation showing our repeated attempts to resolve this matter. Despite these repeated cancellation attempts, Frontier later contacted my husband and claimed that we owed more than $200 for Internet service that we have not been using since April. During one of these conversations, the representative stated that there was no record of our previous calls requesting cancellation. That is extremely concerning, particularly because Frontier routinely records customer service calls. I have screenshots documenting the dates and times of our calls, as well as a screen recording of a subsequent live-chat conversation with a Frontier representative. During that live chat, I explained the entire situation and specifically addressed the fact that we had been attempting to cancel the service and had repeatedly attempted to obtain the equipment-return box. The representative acknowledged the situation and stated that the account would be addressed once the equipment was returned. I have a complete screen recording of that conversation. Most importantly, during that conversation I was informed that the original April representative did not actually process my cancellation. Instead, the representative apparently entered an offer for a $24.99-per-month service onto my account. I did not agree to that offer. I did not authorize a new service plan, nor did I agree to continue receiving Frontier Internet service. I had already obtained Internet service elsewhere and had explicitly contacted Frontier for the purpose of canceling my existing service. Therefore, I dispute any charges resulting from that unauthorized continuation of service. I am particularly concerned that Frontier is now taking the position that there is no record of these events while I have documentation supporting my account of what occurred. I also find it troubling that a request to dispute the charges was apparently denied almost immediately, without any meaningful investigation into the documentation or circumstances surrounding the cancellation. I am requesting the following: That Frontier review the recorded April cancellation call. That Frontier review all subsequent customer-service calls concerning my cancellation and equipment return. That Frontier review the live-chat conversation, for which I have a complete screen recording. That Frontier remove all charges incurred after my original April cancellation request. That Frontier remove any service or plan that was added without my authorization. That Frontier provide written confirmation that the disputed balance has been removed. That Frontier provide clear instructions for returning any Frontier equipment still in my possession, including the necessary return packaging. That Frontier place the disputed balance on hold while this matter is being investigated and resolved. I am not refusing to return Frontier's equipment. In fact, I have repeatedly attempted to obtain the necessary return box so that I could do exactly that. The fact that Frontier failed to provide the equipment-return materials does not make it reasonable to charge me for months of service that I explicitly attempted to cancel. I have retained documentation of my attempts to resolve this matter, including screenshots of our calls and a screen recording of the Frontier live chat. I am requesting that Frontier investigate its own call recordings and account notes rather than simply relying on the current billing record, particularly when the billing record itself appears to reflect an unauthorized service continuation. they will try to suck every dollar out of you they can make you keep a services that you're not even using anymore that you tried to cancel and whenever I called again this time they told me that I couldn't authenticate the account number read more

We've had frontier for the last 2 years with the same monthly rate on auto pay. My bill increased without any notice from Frontier for the month of August and I noticed the increase this month on the bill. When I called Frontier to try and get an explanation as to why there was a price increase and why the company didn't notify their customer the only explanation I got from "Joemar" was "Due to a global crisis going on prices increased." There is no global crisis occurring. I asked to get my price back down to what I signed up for and "Joemar" could only transfer me to a different department. I was on the phone for 1 hr to only get that kind of response. I started Frontier Communications service for a rental property that was supposed to be month to month. I was told it was montht to month and no early termination, no restocking fee if I send in the equipment after usafge. For the last 2 months, Frontier has been sending me an Early Termination Fee of $66.30, plus restocking fee of $50.00, plus tax and other charges, totaling $120.88. Now theyr have threatened me with collections and reporting me to the Credit Bureaus. I have had a really hard time being given the run around trying to remove these charges. We got Frontier fiber installed back in December 2025. But since the line is across the street they had to run it through the air across the street, tie it to one of my trees and then drape it diagonally across my front lawn about 250 ft to my house. It was fine when the snow was on the ground but I've been having to move it around each time I mow my lawn now. I've called them repeatedly to have them bury the line and they've given me three dates now that came and went, and aside from the initial visit, where they texted me saying they couldn't bury the line because of snow, the other two dates came and went without giving me a reason. Service tech came Tuesday and replace ONT box. Internet stopped working again 2 hours after he left. Called customer support 4x this week and they troubleshoot the same way finding no issues. I told them to send a tech out and had one scheduled 9/11. He never came and they set our ticket as resolved. Every time I'm on the phone with someone for over an hour. The guy I talked to today spent over an hour troubleshooting and found no issues.... When I am literally getting dropped while I'm wired directly into the ONT and getting 300x2 speeds. He said he couldn't send a tech out unless we upgrade to 2G circuit.... Scammers We're getting drops constantly throughout the day for hours at a time. Unusable while I'm trying to work. No technicians work on the weekend, so if a piece of equipment goes out on a friday, you are screwed until sometime the next week. Baltazar was terrible. He came to our home trying to pitch his sale. He then scheduled a day to set this new internet system when I told him we already have one. He was like I can get it cheaper and I told him we only pay 40 dollars. I called later saying my husband said no and he said "what does that matter." Set up date for tech to come out and replace my modem and is two weeks out. I work remotely and they would do nothing to help.
