I pressed the call back feature and that call went straight to voicemail even though my phone accepts calls from unknown numbers. I called back the number provided to me. After an hour of being on hold, I was connected with someone who told me to restart my router- even though my building does NOT have physical routers as our wifi comes with our building. She then told me she was from the SALES team and would connect me with someone from the tech team. After being on hold for over an hour, I was connected with someone else from the sales team?! Luckily, Bernadette was initially from the tech support team and was able to actually do something and restart my router from her end. Thank god for Bernadette or I would have thrown my phone over my balcony. Although in the end, there is nothing you can do besides restarting your router. Bai Connect/Zentro is the WORST, DO NOT GET THIS PROVIDER. I can guarantee all these 5 star reviews are FAKE from people in their company. This internet provider is a SCAM. At least At&T or Spectrum has actual people able to help you or send technicians. I would NEVER get this internet service again.

UPDATE: THIS CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE IS NOW SUSPENDED DUE TO REFUSAL TO PAY A COURT ORDERED…read moreJUDGEMENT. My initial review stated that I was forced to file a lawsuit against Brian Staller / Circuit Genius (legally known as: Performance Telecomm) for breach of contract. The matter is now permanently settled by the court. After the vendor filed an appeal, the Los Angeles Superior Court ruled in my favor and found Circuit Genius / Performance Telecomm liable for breach of contract. Owner Brian Staller calls this a "frivolous lawsuit" in his response to my initial review, but the facts prove otherwise. In his response to my first post, Brian called the lawsuit "bananas-level false" and "frivolous." The fact that I won a judgment against this company not once, but twice--once at trial and again on appeal--means that two judges ruled in my favor, finding Circuit Genius / Performance Telecomm in breach of contract. The court's decision validated the vendor's refusal to honor two key contractual agreements: 1. The Refund Scam: The vendor refused to process an agreed-upon refund for a Yamaha receiver (which the contract stated had "No restock fee if not wanted"). Instead, he attempted to coerce me into a "settlement" that required me to sign a document agreeing to no online reviews, legal proceedings, chargeback attempts or warranty support for work done. 2. Deceptive Practices: After agreeing in writing to return to my home and install a network rack at "no extra charge," he later refused to do so unless I paid a new 2-hour service minimum. He then withheld equipment that I had already paid for and refused to refund the cost of that equipment. **This Contractor is now a Regulatory Liability** More than six months after the final judgment, Brian Staller / Circuit Genius / Performance Telecomm has refused to pay the court-ordered debt. His failure to comply with the judgment has resulted in severe disciplinary action: 1. License Suspension: The Contractors State License Board (CSLB), has suspended his license for failure to comply with an outstanding civil judgment. (See CSLB Record for Performance Telecomm; License 117708). 2. Business Lien: I have filed a lien against this business to attempt to enforce the judgement owed (See State of California Notice of Judgement Lien; File No: U250127585224). This business employs deceptive practices and does not honor contractual agreements. Brian is desperate to get 5-star reviews and refuses to accept anything less even if it means bullying and using intimidation tactics with his customers. A business that ignores its legal obligations, has a lien against it, and has its state license suspended should be a major red flag to anyone reading this. Do not put yourself through a lengthy legal ordeal with this vendor. Proceed with extreme caution.

We live in the South Bay in house that was built in 1921 with lath and plaster so getting good WiFi is not easy. Brian spent a few hours assessing our entire house, Sonos system and TV's. He provided a thorough, detailed proposal that addressed our needs. He did not try to nickel and dime us or oversell as others tried to do. Brian goes above and beyond (went to Home Depot to buy mat black paint to hide marks behind the media room TV). The 4 people who work for him are impeccable and care about the job being done beautifully. We are so appreciative of his work and follow through. Brian came back twice to troubleshoot a technical challenge from old equipment, at no charge because he insisted the entire system work perfectly. AbWe chose Spectrum over three years ago because it was the only affordable internet option…read moreavailable in our area. For the first couple of years, things were mostly fine. Unfortunately, the last three experiences completely changed my opinion of this company. The first issue started when we had streaming problems. I upgraded our internet plan online to see if it would help. While upgrading was incredibly easy (one click), downgrading was not possible through the app. You are required to call in, which already feels like a deliberately one sided and scammy practice. When I called to downgrade, I was on the phone for over an hour. The agent repeatedly refused to process the downgrade, aggressively pushed me to keep the higher plan, and then began upselling a "free" cell phone. I clearly stated multiple times that I did not want a phone. The agent framed it as "free" for an extra $10 a month, implying it would essentially replace the cost of my previous internet plan. At one point, the agent literally told me I would be stupid not to take the deal. I acknowledge that I should have done more due diligence, but the language and pressure tactics used were completely unprofessional. I eventually agreed just to get off the phone so I wouldn't be late to work. Months later, I discovered I owed over $250 to pay off the phone after the promotional period ended. The agent would not take no for an answer and used manipulation and intimidation to close the sale. The second major issue occurred when I needed to cancel service due to moving out of the area. The agent, named "Angel" (ironically), was clearly trained to resist cancellation at all costs. He repeatedly asked me to find friends or family to take over my service, then suggested I ask my landlord to transfer it to the next tenant. I said no multiple times and explained I was uncomfortable and did not have time for that. No one should be pressured into recruiting others just to cancel a utility service. The agent then told me cancellation would take 35 minutes and that I had to stay on the line the entire time, not on hold. This made no sense, especially compared to every other utility I canceled quickly and easily due to a move. Once I firmly stated I would no longer engage in conversation, the service was suddenly canceled within 15 minutes. My final issue is that since scheduling our cancellation (and paying for an additional billing period), our internet quality has noticeably declined. Streaming issues and speed problems began immediately. We've had to continuously restart the router, even though both the app and router report no issues. I strongly suspect intentional throttling now that service is ending. If any attorneys happen to read this and are interested in speaking with me, I would be more than willing to share my experiences. I highly doubt I am alone in these circumstances. When I previously attempted to file a complaint about my first encounter, the Spectrum agent told me it was "my problem," which speaks volumes about the company's culture. I'm aware that by writing this review Spectrum likely won't care or respond meaningfully, but potential customers should know this is a company driven by corporate greed and sales metrics, not customer service or ethical treatment. Overall, Spectrum trains their agents to be manipulative, controlling, and aggressive. Canceling service should not require standing your ground repeatedly or enduring intimidation. If I had another option, I would never choose Spectrum again.

I've called them repeatedly to have them bury the line and they've given me three dates now that came and went, and aside from the initial visit, where they texted me saying they couldn't bury the line because of snow, the other two dates came and went without giving me a reason. 1/5 -- ABSOLUTELY AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. AVOID FRONTIER…read more Frontier has easily been one of the most frustrating companies I have ever dealt with. Getting an actual person on the phone is nearly impossible. Their automated system forces you through endless menus and loops, and somehow still manages to hang up on you. It honestly feels like their customer service system is intentionally designed to prevent customers from reaching a real person. After canceling my internet service, I paid my final bill and restocking fee. I returned the equipment I actually received. I already owned and used my own personal router, so the only Frontier equipment I received was the Eero device. I NEVER received or used the additional router they are now trying to charge me for. Despite this, Frontier continues billing me for equipment that was NEVER PROVIDED TO ME. Because reaching someone by phone is such a nightmare, I have had to contact multiple agents through their online portal. I explained the situation repeatedly. Multiple Frontier representatives told me I did NOT owe anything else. I was given case numbers and was specifically told the issue had been RESOLVED. Yet Frontier still sent me ANOTHER BILL. What exactly is the point of giving customers case numbers and telling them an issue has been resolved if Frontier is just going to ignore the resolution and continue billing them anyway? This is beyond poor customer service. It is an exhausting cycle of automated phone systems, repeated explanations, conflicting billing, empty promises, and charges for equipment I never even received. If you are considering Frontier, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Saving yourself from this level of frustration is worth it. AVOID FRONTIER AT ALL COSTS.

Netwood Communications is the go-to for ensuring high-speed connectivity in our hyper-paced world!…read more Prior to my discovery of Netwood, I had a contract with Verizon for the wireless connection in my household. Not only was the connection poor and often lost, the prices were high and the constant feud over my billing with an automated respondent was when I had enough. This is when I first came upon Netwood, and since then I have never been so pleased with my in-house connectivity. The staff are extremely knowledgable and they aim to provide a personalized service by tailoring their product to their customers needs. Beyond the A+ they earned in regard to their customer service, the service is fast and most importantly reliable. Being able to contact Netwood through their direct line provides for a more personalized experience overall. To this day, they have upheld our contract with faith, and their accounting department is very well-structured and we always receive our bill on time. I wish I had discovered Netwood sooner as they were the immediate solution to my ongoing connectivity struggles. I highly recommend them as the #1 local service provider to any household or business looking to gain the most out of their network experience.

Fantastic. It's four times faster than the "high-speed internet" DSL that I was getting through…read moreAT&T, for roughly the same price! For a while I had a good deal with AT&T that got me that slow internet for $20 a month, and for that, I could live with the buffering. Once it went up to the normal price of $59 a month, though, WITH additional $10 or $20 charges for when we went over the data cap, I lost patience. That drove me to look for a new ISP, and I couldn't be happier with Netwood. Now I pay $65 a month for unlimited data at a download speed of 10mbps+ (as opposed to the 2.5mbps that I had with AT&T). When I called AT&T to cancel, the best they could offer to try to keep my business was 6mbps at about $30 a month for a year. And then, of course, the price would shoot up again, and I'd have to keep calling... I'd much rather pay a straightforward, no-BS monthly fee and get a faster connection to boot. I don't know if your speeds or charges will be the same, because I think it varies based on location and business v. residential use (mine is residential), but I do know that Netwood warrants a call or email. In my experience, Bonnie responds to connectivity requests (http://netwood.net/data-connectivity-request-form.php) and emails VERY quickly, so it won't take long before you know whether they can help you out. For your sake, I hope they can!
