Keith was the worst. He didn't show up on the day he promised. I had waited 5 days for an appt. I called him to find out what happened. He said he got lost and was going to be so late, he decided not to come or call. What? So when I got ahold of him after already waiting 5 days, he offered to come the next day. He did, but was very late, hours late. Once again, no call. And didn't pick Up when I called. I had told him that my phone system was broken. I needed info on getting it repaired or replaced. He made one line ring for one day. By the next day that wasn't working anymore. When I called him he said my phone system was broken and sent me a bill for $125 for nothing. I used Keith in 2010 and had a good experience, so I called him again, explained the job, and we scheduled an appointment on a day when he said he would be in the area, three days later. I texted him the address and pictures of the work needed, and he confirmed. 25 minutes after the appointed time, I texted him to ask if all was still okay. No response. I called (numerous times) and finally left a voice mail--"no problem if you're late, but are you on your way?" No response. Called numerous times more. He never picked up, never texted back, never called back. It's two days later: No response, like it never even happened. The work product doesn't really matter when this is how you run your business. It's extremely important to find a professional IT Company to run my business smoothly. We initially started working with Keith in 2010 when he did the wiring for my original security camera system. My business was robbed at gun point and LAPD could not get the data off of the DVR Camera System to send the video to the news stations. Keith was at my Downtown Los Angeles Jewelry store with in 1 hour he extracted the video and thanks to Keith both suspects were on every evening news station and were arrested with in a week. Since then we've used Keith for the past 5 years for our Cameras, Phone Systems, Networking, 20+ Computers, Point of Sale Computers. I can't tell you how important it is to have everything working perfect and being backed up the right way. In my line of work it's really hard to find someone that you can trust. Word of Mouth is better advertisement then any website period. I've recommended Keith to a hand full of friends and family and everyone so far has thanked me. If you're looking for a knowledgeable person who can do a great job he's the man. We just bought a new house, and as it turns out, our phone line was connected to...nothing. I needed a line installed for the DSL that I'd ordered and was paying for...but not getting. So I called Mark at IT Wire Techs, left a VM, and he called back within minutes. We work days, so he worked it out to come to my place that evening! Quoted me $60 just for a simple line install. He got there around 8 pm, started digging into the wires. Turns out, it wasn't that simple -- nothing was hooked up right. But the dude knew his stuff, dove right in, solved the problem and got a strong signal to the modem. Then he ran a high-quality line under the house, and up into my computer room. Quality installation, looks great. And he was a congenial guy to chat with along the whole process. After all this work I was a little worried about how much this was going to cost me, so I asked him again what I owed him. "$60 bucks," he answered. After a nightmare experience with another electrician who said he could move and install our phone system and set up the phone jacks at our new location (he just stopped showing up, I assume because he had no idea what he was doing) I turned to yelp. I am the Administrator at a small law firm and after we downsized, we needed to move our entire set of data lines (which are also our VOIP phone lines) to a new location in our smaller office space. I had no idea where to start looking for this sort of service and started making calls. Many people I called seemed hesitant to work with a phone system of any sort and sounded a little uncertain about whether they could help. After several estimates, Keith from IT Wire Techs showed up. From the moment we started talking about the job, I knew he knew what he was talking about. Excellent Service! I called at 3:30 on a Monday. He quoted me a fair price and was at my place within 20 min (he just finished his day and still came out on a moments notice!) He wired all 4 of my phone lines in each of my 3 offices. The work looked complex and more challenging than he initially expected. Yet he was professional and stuck to his quote! I hired him to come back a couple days later to drop a couple ethernet lines and again he did a very professional job at a real reasonable rate. I would definitely recommend him! read more

Well this is unprecedented. It saddens me to report that I can no longer recommend this business. Once again I contacted them to schedule jack installations. I contacted Keith directly and made an appt for the following day. He called right before he was to arrive to let me know he was running late. We pushed back to "between 1 and 1:30". No prob I told him and thanks for letting me know. I was at the job site and waited. And waited. And waited. I left a msg and texted him around 2:00 to ask his ETA. No response. I called the business line, which is his wife's cell, and she said she would try and get ahold of him. She never got back to me. I must have just gotten lucky the last time. I finally texted him around 2:30 to say that it's cool if he can't make it today. I'm flexible so just let me know if we could reschedule, or if for whatever reason he didn't want to do the install just let me know so I could hire someone else. No response. Such a crappy experience. I cut him lots of slack because I used him before with such satisfaction. This experience just left me empty. If u choose to call and he actually makes it, then u stand a chance of having a successful transaction. But the risk of failure is great. He may or may not make it to ur appointment. read more

We had set up an appointment with KEITH at 11am today, and he called at 11:20 saying he would be here in an hour. When I said that we will be closing earlier than that so being so late was not acceptable, and that we were expecting him at the agreed-upon time of 11am, he hung up on me. I call Keith in the AM to have a problem with my phone system repaired. I explained the problem and hey said he could fix it. He called about 2PM to say he was on his way. When he realized that it was a bail bonds office he refused to come. He thought that I was "with the cops". I can only surmise why he would think that I would cause him trouble. I found them on Yelp! I had guys come out and declare my voice mail dead and needed replacing, I had spoke to IT Wire Techs on the phone and they asked me what the other guys did to test it. Well not much of anything, reboot the system a couple times. Look at some wires. By the way it is a NEC DSX 80.I agreed to let them come out to give it a try because it sounded like they actually knew that system pretty well.When they got here they picked up the phone hit the Voice mail button and got nothing which was expected. He did the same thing the others did, UN plug some things look at this look at that. Then he asked me if they rebooted it like this. He held down a button turned it off tuned it on pulled out the chip, turned it on & off. I don't know exactly the order of on & off and taking out the chip and all. All I do know is when he turned it on the last time and went to a nearby phone and hit the voice mail button that ladies voice said, "You have no messages"End of storey, he saved me 500 bucks and only charged me $60 for the hour. We had an older NEC system in our home and called an authorized NEC system repairman and they were willing to sell me a new NEC system and additional phone sets but didn't repair the system. I decided to bypass the NEC system and have analog phones. The ATT repair person told me that the system is digital and we would have to rewire our house to have analog phones. I decided I will try one last time so I called IT Wire techs and scheduled an appointment with Keith. He came at the scheduled day and was on time without the 4 or 8 hour window. He rewired the phone system but there was an additional issue. He tested the wiring outside the house and told me ATT would have to repair this part. I told him the past problem with ATT so he called ATT and thoroughly explained the problem. The ATT repairman came a few days later and repaired the phone wiring outside the home/street. I highly recommend this company and Keith. The icing on the cake- the cost of repairs were fair and reasonable. read more
