Very disappointing experience at the Burbank Sunglass Hut. I purchased Ray-Ban Meta glasses from the Glendale location and was told I could return them at any Sunglass Hut. I came to the Burbank location with the original receipt, packaging, and all included items. The associate, Evelyn, told me there was an issue with the lenses and refused the return. I tried to understand the reason and resolve the situation, but the interaction became uncomfortable and security was called. I was not threatening or trying to cause a scene -- I was simply trying to complete a return and understand why it was being denied. What was most frustrating is that I went back to the Glendale Sunglass Hut, where I originally purchased them, and they accepted the return without any issues. Since both locations are Sunglass Hut, I am disappointed that the experience and handling of the situation were so different. I hope management reviews how this interaction was handled because customers should feel respected when trying to resolve an issue. Evelyn really needs to be looked at this location. I have never been treated this badly. read more

I stopped by this Sunglasses Hut tonight while my wife was at Bath and Body Works. I came into this store to look at their Oakley collections. Vivian was very nice and greeted me when I walked in. I asked where were the Oakleys and she pointed me to them. She asked if I had any questions and I told her I was just browsing so she said to let her know if I had any questions. They didn't have a lot of Oakley sunglasses so nothing stood out to me. I also looked at their Ray Ban sunglasses but I can't wear them comfortably read more

Walked into this store and asked to help with an issue i had with my proscription glasses. The gentleman with the Diesel Eyeglasses (sorry i can not recall his name) was super kind. I am weeks late in writing this review, and I felt the associate deserved her much deserved due credit. I was window shopping with my friend and we stopped in since we both have a thing for sunglasses. Even though I was not planning on walking out of there with a new pair of shades, I did anyways thanks to the nice lady working there, Randi. Randi was very knowledgeable in all the products and gave out some great recommendations and even helped me step outside my comfort zone of usual go-to glasses I tend to gravitate towards. She was extremely patient in having me try on different shades - some I have tried on multiple times. I would not mind driving back out that way for my next pair of glasses even though there are locations much closer to my house. Overall could not ask for a better experience! read more

The sales associate was trying to be "helpful" but frankly trying to change my mind about every glasses i picked for much more expensive pairs is not nice, and FYI the "tactic"is visible and lame. Also avoid lying to people, i got many pairs of ray ban and i wanted another one and the associate goes" you are so lucky we received special sunglass cases for the ray bans", it was the exact same case I 've got for all my ray bans, i just don't see the point in lying ! Always love the selection and customer service. For a larger company I always feel the employees care about the service they provide. Also love the fact that they have a large selection. They always have what I'm looking for. I was their last weekend before a football game. They only had the display model available for the glasses I wanted. They told me to purchase-those for now. Then bring them back when the new ones came in and they would swap em. They didn't have to that. Appreciated it very much. The prices are very reasonable as well for a store in the mall. I went to this Sunglass Hut and was met by a young man named Tyler who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He spent a very long time searching for the correct pair of sunglasses for me. I couldn't recommend this establishment or Tyler more. I left with an incredibly positive impression of him. If the world had more employees like him, we would all be much better off. I don't remember the dudes name who was working here the afternoon that I went but he was super cool and super helpful. I know that I took forever just trying on glasses without the intent of even buying that day. I must have tried on a million pairs of ray-bans. In particular tortoise shell ray-bays. The guy was super helpful, and gave me honest opinions. Anyway, I went back the next day and bought what I was looking at. The same guy was working, I guess he works afternoons. Terrible service!, after meeting a nice lady who works at the location and she told me they could repair the missing screw in my sunglasses I went in today and the female working at this location today was happy not to help me. Claiming to put a screw in glasses they don't sell is against policy. Sunglasses are sunglasses no special technique needed to apply a screw but she was happy to send the African away with the "lame" "sorry it's against policy I can't help you". I'm a manager a a major retailer and we have a culture at my business to find ways to help guest and not celebrate the opportunities to tell guest "no". She was corny and the sunglasses hut selling all those fake frames made by Luxottica and stamped with the random brand logos is also corny. I wouldn't suggest any non-white to visit this location. This store is purfect for first time quality sunglass shoppers. They have everything from Oakley to Parasol. Price ranges are crazy here 50- 400. They have something for everyone, simple, sporty classic american, chic, high fasion. Went by the Sunglass Hut in Burbank Mall to buy a gift card and there was this sign on the front saying they would "be back in 15 minutes." I decided to walk around for about 15 minutes then came back to notice the sign was still up. Then I decided to walk around some more and went in another 3 shops, when I came back about 25 minutes later the sign was still up. Guessing they don't want any business. read more

Tanya has the best customer service, my girlfriend and I came in to warranty our shades, my bolt got lost on one of the arms and her lens was slightly scratched luckily both were within 90 days, even tho my girlfriend couldn't find her warranty in the system Tanya found it for us and took care of us both, I highly recommend buying your glasses and keeping your receipts. Terrible customer service. I've never had to leave a negative review but the store manager of this store, Ian, has absolutely no sense when it comes to sunglasses. He messed mine up pretty bad and refused to replace them. I've worked In retail and I was just shocked with his attitude. When I asked for corporates number he said he did not have it. Really?
