I had a euro trip coming up and they helped me pick out multiple sunglasses! Tons of sizes and styles for each outfit I had in mind! I went here several months ago, and just didn't follow up. I'll explain. I needed an eye exam, and new contacts. The place has good reviews and is close to my house. The guy at the front and doc were very nice. But the exam didn't seem up to par. I've needed corrective vision since I was 10 years old and this exam didn't feel thorough. And the chair had a broken armrest. My contact lens prescription is always a little complicated (astigmatisms)that's always the case, nothing new. The problem is, weeks went by and I didn't hear anything. So I called and they said, "oh yes we've ordered them, they'll be in tomorrow", which I had a feeling wasn't true......crickets. Absolutely dreadful customer service! I have never in my life been treated so poorly. Ordered frames and lenses in January 2020. Once excuse after another (when I could get hold of anyone). Then covid intervened, so I was patient. April, I went in to get the final measurement, was told -- "No need to come back, I'll have them delivered tomorrow." Well, tomorrow never came, nor did a phone call explaining ANYTHING. Today is September 11, and after threatening to go to the city of Glendale, The CA Board of Optometry and the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Vartanyan wrote me a refund check. I was looking around for a place for a while before I found these guys on Yelp. The reviews weren't lying. This place is great. The Dr. was very quick and really nice. The guy that works out front, SUPER HELPFUL (I'm horrible, I can't remember his name). He was so friendly and so nice. After my exam he went through all of the glasses with me and helped me pick a pair I was comfortable with (and they had a lot to choose from) They take VSP, and they worked with my budget. Very pleasantly surprised! - they were able to see me within the hour I called in. - eye exam was $89, unlike other places that gives you a "range" of pricing (e.g., $99-$120 depending on if I have astigmatism, any eye diseases, etc) -- Other places I called include Lens Crafters, Costco, Sears Optical (in descending price) - he told me how to slow down my declining vision. Others tell me "minimize your time on the computer, etc." It's like telling me to quit my job! Not practical. Here, the Dr told me that reading glasses would prevent my eyes from working overtime. Never heard that before. I was skeptical of my need to wear reading glasses OVER my contacts... but just to prove he's not in it for the money, he gave me a pair for FREE. Yes. He cares. - I was going to take the Rx and get contacts for cheaper, but he simply matched the price. (granted, he will make a phone call to whatever source you quote to be sure YOU'RE not duping him). If you know your stuff, he'll honor your price. - Pending evaluation: glasses will be done within 24hrs, and contacts will be there in 48hrs. read more

I had surprisingly exceptional experience here. So I can only review my experience. I came in without an appointment around noon time, They have a big selection of really high end brands and I had my eyes on a pair of frames for a while. The man that helped me was very professional, he offered me the eye test, contact fitting and took my eyemed Insurance. My prescription is straight forward so he told me my glasses would be ready by the end of the day. He gave me a really good deal too! Sure enough I went to get lunch hang out at the mall that's across the street and by the end of the day 6pm I went to pick them up. read more

When he told how much it was going to cost for MY lenses I looked around for cameras.. It was so cheap, I thought I was on a hidden camera show. Then he told me when they would be ready.. DO NOT GO HERE... My experience at this optometry was horrible! I really liked one of their Ray Ban glasses on display, didn't want the display one so he told me i need to order new ones and it will arrive in 1 week, I said ok that's fine. 2weeks passed didn't arrive 3 weeks passed didn't arrive 4th week I called they said we have it come pick it up. I go try it the lens number was wrong totally different eye site. I was pissed off!.. He did give me the correct ones after 30mins. Came home tried it on again and the frame was to loose on my face so I go back and get a different Frame different brand for a lesser prince, and they still keep my money didn't reimburse. read more

I called & got an eye exam (the regular annual one) scheduled within 24 hours. The person on the phone was helpful & very accommodating with my schedule. I had called the larger eye clinics nearer to me and had to deal with attitude & incompetence. Blue Eyes Optometry was a refreshing change. Scott Lam O.D. was my optometrist and he was very pleasant & clear with his explanation. The exam didn't take too long but Scott took the time to explain everything, especially given that it was only a regular exam. Also, his exam room uses a flat screen for the eye test chart with a remote control to change the tests. Because of his honesty, care & great attitude, I would highly recommend him for your annual eye exam (which is required to re-order your contacts). He takes VSP. read more

They have a nice exotic collection of frames but it takes them FOREVER to mail your glasses and/or contacts even after you pay and when I call to check in they never pick up which is very frustrating. They did this to me before but I gave them another chance but they're delayed again! Mind you they're just mailing locally. This review is long overdue. This place is as unprofessional as it gets. I ordered prescription glasses and was told it would take 2 weeks max to arrive. After the third week I called in to check on the status as I had ran out of contact lenses and needed my glasses. I was told by the business owner that the manufacturer was taking a little longer than normal and it would arrive by the end of the week maximum. I called back a week later and still no glasses. This went on for three more weeks with so much hassle. I had moments where I would call and the business owner(Gor) would hang up on me. He would place me on hold to "check" then would hang up and when I'd call back he would have left for the day. At one point I scheduled an appointment to go so he could give me a refund and when I arrived he was not there. I ended up getting my money back through a chargeback and never got my glasses. I'm a rational and patient person and I understand things can go wrong but this was unprofessional beyond belief. It almost felt like dealing with a kindergartener. What's worse is that I had been a customer of theirs for years. AVOID THIS PLACE! read more

I love these guys. Tony is great. My wife and I have been coming here for five years. Their prices are reasonable, the selection is huge, and they have free parking in back. They are always friendly and fast. The plastic frames I purchased for my prescription sunglasses cracked recently and they replaced it for free. I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. I used to go to the big corporate chains but there's something about going to the small, independently-owned shops. In fact, I think you will find the prices are much better here.
