I walked in with my mom on Monday and greeted by Taylor. She was super helpful and helped us choose 2 pairs of glasses for each one of us. It was a super easy process and she was very quick and efficient and communicated everything we needed to know while entering our info into her iPad. Now we just have to wait to get our glasses in the mail and she said they have a 30 day return or exchange policy and if anything is wrong we can go back and get it exchanged or returned. They had a 15% promotion that day if you bought 2 pairs so our glasses each became $80 which is great. read more

This is definitely a long overdue review from two years ago. This Warby Parker is located across from The Americana at Brand. I came on Tuesday at 12 PM so the shop wasn't packed. The employee I had interaction with was friendly, but I could tell this employee was a new hire. However I did get all of my questions answered from a more senior employee. I gave my eye prescription and the staff began to enter my info into an iPad. After I selected a frame, one of the staff measured the centering distance for my pupils as well as measuring pupillary distance (PD). After all virtual paperwork was completed, the staff ended with "Thank you for styling with Warby Parker" as I waited for my pairs of glasses to be shipped. [Price for High-Index Lens]: Normally frame price comes with complimentary lens, but customers need to pay $130 (late 2021 - $150 as of Jan 2024) for single vision ultra high-index lens. Ultra high-index lens are recommended for anyone with strong prescriptions (-8.0 or higher total power). Apparently this type of lens automatically comes with blue-light-filtering so no need to pay extra $50 for it. Light-responsive (aka transition lens) is not available for ultra high-index lens. *** Whalen (low bridge fit, wide, lapis crystal, lens width 51mm, bridge 18mm, and temple length 145mm - $95 for frame + $130 for ultra high-index lens) & Durand (low bridge fit, wide, striped pacific, lens width 50mm, bridge 20mm, and temple length 145mm - $95 + $130 for ultra high-index lens): Personally both low bridge fit frames were good fit, but I ended up returning both sets after I received feedback comments from my coworkers and ended up with Winston in Jet Black (wide) and Harris in Oak Barrel (wide) at El Segundo location instead. *** While I ended up returning both glasses and got different frames at Warby Parker El Segundo, the staff was friendly and the return policy was generous. I still have my Harris in Oak Barrel and it still looks great. However I will say Warby Parker's high-index lens are prone to scratches so customers may want to consider new lens after a year or two. P.S. - VSP is not accepted here (out-of-network), but customers can apply for reimbursement for an average saving of $100 after checkout. However FSA or HSA are accepted here. read more

I made a mistake and purchased a new pair online without blue light filtering lenses. When I received the frames in the mail, I wasn't too sure if I was in love with them either. The next day, I decided to go into the store to see what options I had. For whatever reason, Warby Parker doesn't let you try on all of the frames at home and for this reason, I've been giving my optical glasses business to other places offering better selection. Warby Parker frames are decent for the price and I needed a new pair for just the screen work I've been doing a lot of lately. I love my current frames but the weight started bothering me so I picked up a wired pair from Warby since I'd be wearing them at home only. Julia must have upgraded me because the shipping was lighting fast. I exchanged the wrong glasses I purchased and bought two more pairs and they will be arriving tomorrow which will be 3 business days since date of purchase. In comparison to the frames I purchased 2 weeks ago, this ordering experience went above and beyond. I will be placing orders in-store from now on. I booked an appointment to get a new prescription and new glasses because I broke my old pair. When booking online they said they would take my insurance (Cigna), great. The optometrist who saw me felt rushed and with my new prescription I see worse with my new prescription than with my old one even though the new one is stronger. She also told me I might have glaucoma, but would have to dilate my eyes to check, and didn't feel like doing that today. Warby Parker supposedly does it for free, but she didn't want to do it, so told me I should just go to an opthamalogist instead. When it came time to paying, they said they actually don't take my insurance despite their website repeatedly saying it would so I would have to pay cash and can contact customer support after the fact. I had to email customer support back and forth 12 (Twelve!) times on the same email with each agent ignoring or asking me to repeat things I had told the previous agent (I guess they assign a new one for every message?). In the end half the agents said they take my insurance and the others said they don't, and there was no way to get them to process the claim so I just gave up. Next time just go to Costco or a small time optometrist and buy the frame from Zenni Optical and save yourself all the headache. The positive star is for the asian guy who worked the counter who used to work at the Pasadena store and now works here. Great energy, knew every frame by memory, and was very helpful. read more

I confirmed. I called and was sent confirmation. I showed up early. No doctors was there. I spent gas, time, and gave up plans b/c this was scheduled one year ago. This is unacceptable. I was looking to get a spare pair of glasses and I've always been of fan of Warby Parker since they first started selling eyewear online but never bought a pair. So, I decided to walk in the Glendale location recently and purchase a pair. The layout of the eyewear is very organized. Plastic frames on one side and metal and sunglasses on the other. Frame styles are all labeled which come in narrow, medium, wide and extra wide. The cons here is that most of the frames are pretty close in style but vary in color. Price point here is anywhere from under $100 to +/-$125 or so. Not bad considering that includes the lens as well. There are options for high index lenses to keep those thick lenses thinner. Definitely a deal considering you'll spend $500-$600 for a pair. Overall, a great experience. Customer services was very helpful. We were the only ones in the store and about 5 associates asking if we need help. We looked around and fitted glasses in 15 minutes and Sal, the sales associate, did the fit test and processed the order in another 15 minutes. read more

Verified reviews on Consumer Affairs and Trust Pilot are very different from Yelp. Do your due diligence. Plus immediately after I posted my review on Google, my own business received a one star review by a Dylan who has also reviewed many Warby Parker stores that are not close to each other. I've mistakenly created 2 accounts with Warby Parker and even though it has been the source of multiple mistakes by the many careless employees and optometrists, they refuse to merge my two accounts. 2nd, the last time I went in to get a new script (12/2023) I repeated the correct email address to the optometrist multiple times and yet she STILL put my prescription on the wrong account causing me to receive my old prescription in my new frames. I even asked her to come out and look at the computer when the employee pulls up my script to make sure it's correct and she came out and just stood there, did nothing and made me feel like I'm high maintenance even though their track record is poor. They don't show you who your optometrist is and has been in your account profile so you can't keep track of who is making the mistakes. Long story short, I went through hell trying to get the correct script after transferring it to ALSO be included in the correct account with all the other info they need so I can have my new script. This optometrist even told me my old glasses didn't have the correct script she sees in the computer. Who knows what happened there but they never felt right. Since then, the beginning of 2024, I've been going into the store regularly to have the new frames with the new script adjusted because two days later, they get loose again. Today, 08/10/24, I waited 45 minutes at the Glendale store to get my glasses adjusted. The Optician Mario Lozano tells me that my glasses are awaiting return and that I've been refunded the amount and there's a note to take them from me. The he said "of course I won't do that" and goes on to ask me what I need. I tell him my glasses keep falling off and I've had them adjusted 5 times. He says he's really good and when I say I've actually had him adjust them in the past too, maybe I rubbed him the wrong way? During the adjustment I attempted to find out why my account has a note that I need to return the glasses & asked him if he sees the re-order with the lighter glasses because they were already returned and re-ordered. And out of NOWHERE he very aggressively says "didn't you see what I showed you?". I'm afraid I took the bait & responded just as aggressively. At one point I held back tears and maybe if I wasn't so embarrassed to be vulnerable in public, I would have been treated better by the two men. It escalated from there. Mario Lozano was completely unprofessional and wouldn't work with me to get to the bottom of yet another mistake they've made. I never received a refund on the second pair because I never intended on returning them and didn't want that record sitting there. It's also odd that all this time when I've had adjustments, no one has brought up this note. Unfortunately the 20 something "manager" Irving, did nothing to help. He didn't see the way Mario lost his patience with a customer out of nowhere. It was just one question that set him off. When I mentioned to Irving that I waited a long time to get my adjustment done and it's not finished (because Mario eventually walked away), he told me I should go to Pasadena where they don't have a long wait and that I should just get new frames because mine are too wide. First, thanks for the info after all these adjustments and after letting me buy them in the first place. Next, that kind of provocative attitude should get him fired. I walked out of there without having a proper adjustment after driving 15 minutes, paying for parking and waiting 45 minutes. He should be fired along with the optician. read more

Dr. Keshishyan was amazing and honestly gave me the best eye exam experience I've ever had. I expressed to her that I've always been very scared of getting my eyes checked, especially having recently recovering from severe corneal abrasions. She made me feel so safe and comfortable enough to get through the whole appointment by thoroughly explaining everything before each step of the exam so I knew exactly what to expect and why it needed to be done. Lastly, every pair of glasses I've received from previous doctors had always given me headaches because they gave me too strong of a prescription or gave me specialty lenses when I didn't need them. I've honestly never had glasses feel SO comfortable and actually improved my vision without giving me any issues until the ones prescribed me from this office. Thank you so so much Dr. Keshishyan! The staff here was also so helpful and friendly when I was looking for frames. My insurance was unfortunately not accepted but it wasn't too big of a deal as I was able to work with my insurance directly (that was my fault, I should have checked). I'm not one to really give reviews, but I definitely recommend this location. They have a wide, affordable, and good quality selection of frames. Yes things did go wrong during my visit here. My appointment was significantly delayed when I arrived on time, and there was a minor error on the size of my frames for my prescription glasses. BUT the entire staff was super accommodating and made my visit here pleasant despite some issues. God forbid doctors run behind from time to time or one small minor detail was accidentally left out on a glasses prescription (big head = needs wide frames). The super-friendly staff immediately addressed the issues, had my order expedited, and on top of that, they didn't want me going home blind, so they let me hold on to the glasses until I received the newer, correct pair (even though I insisted I can use landmarks to help navigate my drive home). Kat was the one who helped me pick an awesome pair because I was so indecisive. Long story short, mistakes happen and doctors get behind sometimes. But it was how this Glendale team navigated through those issues and how they were so accommodating to me that made me want to leave this review and make sure these people get the recognition for their great customer service. The gentlemen at the store offered me a $150.00 credit toward replacing the frame and new lenses. I would need to pay an additional $300. Warby Parker does not stand behind their product. Not going back for my next pair. Please, if you're reading this and move forward with their products just know they only offer a 6 month warranty on poor quality. I needed some new glasses and had seen the ads for this place so decided to give them a try. I am so glad to have skipped the Costco optometry section pick a number and come here. Night and Day experience! We walked in to signs to keep us safe for covid, hand sanitizer and friendly workers sanitizing glasses. We were immediately greeted by Jaden. He was so helpful. He explained the process and helped me and my companion pick out prescription glasses. All the glass frames we did not select were put in a box that were picked up periodically for cleaning and later put back on the wall. He made suggestions and did not pressure us at all. His suggestions were helpful and even went to the store room to go look for glasses. He measured us and was very clear about when he needed to measure your pupils, etc. we had excellent service here. Now we picked our future glasses he entered our info in the pad and the glasses will be mailed directly to us. Seems simple, I hope the glasses are as good as the service. read more

I've heard about Warby Parker for a while but never got a chance to try it out until I noticed that they have a B&M store near Glendale Galleria. As soon as I walked in, an employee greeted me and told me about the store. I tried on a few pairs and the employee answered my questions patiently. It beats the experience of walking into Costco and wait 45+ minutes for service. I ended up purchasing a pair of transition glasses. I've had a pair of glasses that were run over by a car(!) repaired when they were still under warranty - and I was shocked, that was clearly negligence on my part, but they honored their policy! My entire experience today was five stars everything. I did the 5 pair try at home deal and wasn't convinced on any of them, so I opted to come in to the store for the first time today. I debated between going to the Sunset Blvd location in The Standard and here - I am SO GLAD I chose to come to this location! I was greeted upon entering in the most friendly, non attacking way, which I loved. I hate when you feel like a raw rib eye in a starving tiger cage when entering a store. Maxwell was a pure gem! He looked up my at home try on, asked all the right style questions and was able to get me into 3-4 pairs that I love, love, loved! He even popped out some lenses on a pair of sunnies that I was debating on for regular lenses. Brilliant! He was honest with how things looked on me, what's on trend for my style and helped me narrow down to the best pair for me today and a couple options for fun ones after I adjust to my new Rx. The store wasn't too busy and the other girls working were super nice and fun too. Great frames from traditional to on-point with the trends. This made buying glasses a bit easier since I'm not paying too much. Second, they have a good selection. Classic and modern designs! Not too few where you won't find what you want. Not too many where get intimidated by the options. Last, and most importantly, the staff were very helpful and friendly. I was so indecisive that I needed help from the 3 beautiful ladies they had at the time. Margie in particular helped me the most and answered my many questions, and she was smiling all the time. This store is pretty neat in its set up and frames display. I feel like this is a very trendy, rather new, way of doing things. I know that they take walk ins. I don't know what services they actually offer other than helping you to find the frames of your dreams for hopefully at the very least, for a lil less than you'd usually pay for glasses. I know that they have all sorts of sizes and colors in frames. I'm not too sure about their quality only because I didn't end up making a purchase here but I was really impressed with their variety of frames, the different color in wire frames, the different shapes and sizes, just the variation of the same frames, etc. I came in on a day that was fairly busy. I was welcomed in and someone let me know that all their associates were busy but that I was more than welcome to browse and try on frames and that if there were any that I was interested in, to pull 'em and put them on a try for future reference. It was nice to not feel pressured. I didn't have the chance to really narrow down exactly what I wanted but I also had just started to look at frames. I like their relaxed approach to things. It really was nice to not feel pressured at all. I'd like to come in again when I have my prescription on me and a better idea of what I'm looking for and how much my competitors prices are. I'd like to compare. I'd definitely suggest WP as a good place to stop in and try frames, see what you like and don't like, see if the slight difference in sizes in the bridge is a game changer, etc. I'd like to come in some other time to check it all out again just because I felt like I didn't take enough time to thoroughly look through all my options with some the associates. I've been wearing glasses for the past 10 years (thanks, age!) and I can honestly say that I have tried different pairs from all the popular spots: Costco, Lenscrafters, online shops, private eye glass shops... The pairs that last the longest with all the abuse they sustain, have been Warby Parker. The frames are really nice and they offer a lens replacement before the first year is up. I always take advantage of that. They have been THE BEST GLASSES Just had my eyes checked with Dr. Fu and she was great. Gave me an awesome pair of contacts to try that I was able to keep in my eyes FOR THE ENTIRE DAY. I'm still amazed at that because usually I can only keep contacts in a couple hours and then they gotta come out! Incredible experience here this week. This Warby store has an amazing staff that is actually very helpful, without ever feeling pushy. I started with an eye exam with Dr. Angela Fu, who has helped me in the past and is an excellent doctor - she got my prescription dialed in and razor sharp. This was a very easy process and easy to schedule online. Then while I was looking at new frames, a staff member offered to give my old frames a tune-up, and got the fit so amazing that I decided to reorder the same model with the new prescription. The purchase process couldn't have been smoother. I chose expedited shipping and was shocked when my new frames arrived in the mail only 2 days after I was in the shop. Mind blowing.
