Came here after talking to customer service on the phone and they recommended to come here in person. And the sales person Genesis was an absolute disappointment after we explain our situation and how customer service said in person they would help. But genesis won't give a solution but to just call customer service. Even though we JUST explained that customer service couldn't help over the phone. We are paying for internet that has been cut off and we aren't allowed any new equipment because SPECTRUM decided to ship our equipment to the WRONG address. read more

The folks at Spectrum have implemented an electronic "cash system" which will not allow the store to accept cash when it is malfunctioning (although they could accept credit cards ?!?). I am not clear on what exactly their system does, maybe scan the bills to spot counterfeits; but whatever their technology is intended to do it vastly inconveniences customers just trying to pay their bill. I will be returning their equipment on my next (unnecessary) visit to their store. BTW, a related issue; I went to their website and chatted with someone from their customer service team. He was absolutely useless, his solution to my inquiry about if they had solved the cash-acceptance problem at their retail locations was to call the store! Epic FAIL! read more

The worst procedure when you move and need to transfer your internet and cable- spoke to two reps first (an hour call) to "transfer" only to find out nothing could be handled that day is have to wait 2-3 days to pick up at a location not the day of. Came to the store twice to drop off then next day pick up. At pick up day was told I can't pick up it has to be my husband even though on that hour call I specifically verified that I can pick up! So frustrating! Spectrum I hope you're making plans to improve this procedure so ridiculous! Update- ERIC WAS THE BEST AT THIS LOCATION HE HELPED US AND MADE OUR HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE INTO A GREAT ONE! read more

These people are predators. I signed up to get a phone and internet, told them multiple times I didn't want the tv box. They sent it anyway. I sent it back. They still charged me for the tv services and took it out of my automatic billing. They are crooks. I spoke with them many times about not wanting the extra service. They are predators. Don't sign up for their automatic billing if you have to go with them. They won't refund you for their screw up/intentional overbilling. read more

At the Spectrum Store in North Hollywood, my walk-in wait was only 10-15 minutes. Julia, at the counter, was extremely efficient. Since I am a senior, I found her to be particularly patient and kind. read more

Had fantastic service from Maria, who helped me and my mother in law negotiate a much better plan for our internet needs. Thanks so much! I don't even think she works at this store normally so we got incredibly lucky read more

I wanted to like this spectrum store but I swear to god these customer service reps are beyond incompetent and making it hard not to hate them. We took our router and modem in for a swap because our internet had been cutting in and out once a week for the past month. They gave us the new router and modem and when I asked if there was anything else we needed to do they said no, just plug it in and it will work fine Well as soon as we took it home and plugged it in we got the "no internet" warning and could not connect to the internet no matter how hard we tried. We later got a call that night while we were out that the internet should be working but when we came back it still showed no internet and we could not activate it. Cut to today where a technician came out, we come to find that the stupid customer service rep never removed our old modem serial # from our account! They swapped out the router serial # but not the modem one. Why? Who knows. Maybe they got distracted or missed a step when setting it up but if that's the case that's unacceptable honestly. I had to use my phone tethering to a hotspot for a day while working at home because of this store's incompetence. If you ever need to swap out a router and/or a modem make sure to have them confirm they removed the old ones from your account! read more

Not a big fan of Spectrum but had a great experience at their store in NoHo. Quick courteous service and easy return of equipment. Thanks.

This store is horrible, the customer service is trash, no one's speaks to you when you come in. You have to sign in on a kiosk to get in line and no one at the store notifies you about that. The workers are extremely rude! read more

Store Location: NoHo West Went to this store to return a WIFI router and avoid the $10 monthly fee. The employee was talking nonsense about how I couldn't return the WiFi router now. She said to call Spectrum customer service and request a return, but I called customer service last night, and they said to just bring the modem to the Spectrum store and return it. You will lose customers and business!!! This will happen because of poor customer service!!! The Spectrum should be ashamed of themselves and the people who run this company!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY from the NoHo West Spectrum store!!! read more

We went there yesterday to pick up new equipment for our new place. Unfortunately, the lady at the store was very rude and unhelpful. When we asked questions, she gave us very minimal responses and no useful information. In the end, we had to call Spectrum customer service to confirm all the details we needed. read more

This store is as useless as a democrat, charging $400 a month for nothing. Horrible customer service waited 10 minutes with one person waiting and two employees. Might as well hire robots. read more

I visited the Noho Spectrum store to sign up for an internet package. After reading some of the reviews, I didn't have high expectations going in. I'm happy to say that my initial reluctance was quickly forgotten. I was helped by Eric who was able to get us a great price for the internet speed we wanted. He explained a little about what we needed to do once we got home and assured my husband and I we'd be able to set it up. If it's your first time visiting, there's an iPad at the entrance you'll need to sign in on. Some people weren't aware that's how you get on the walk-in list and had been sitting down waiting to be called. read more

I'm disappointed with this spectrum location. The employees were very apathetic and provided no customer service. When I asked if there was someone that could actually assist me - they said there's no manager. So, hello Verizon read more

Great customer service every time I call but I keep having to call. Internet is out or their modem doesn't work or their router doesn't work or they don't know why it doesn't work. If there was another provider that had decent speed in there area I'd leave Spectrum in a heartbeat but there isn't. The best the competition can do is 25mbps :( read more

The worst internet in my life. You must pay $100 for 22mb/s uploading speed even Africa has better internet

For the time I used it Spectrum never let me down or gave me any issues. The only outages I experienced were during the fires. Otherwise, my speed has been fast and consistent. Phone customer service is knowledgeable and helpful. When I returned my equipment to the store they were kind and quick. The only reason I'm ending my service is because my new roommate already has good wifi. And I'm doing it reluctantly! I loved spectrum! read more

I went to the local spectrum by my job and Tiffany did an amazing job taking care of my phone issues with a trade in for another phone. She's very warm and professional and answered all my questions perfectly and to the point. I just moved from North Hollywood to AZ and had my service disconnected on June 30th. Well today I received a bill at my new address for service from June 22nd until July 21st. When I called for a pro rated final bill for the 9 days I actually received service, I was told they don't pro rate, but indeed only charge by the month no matter how long one actually uses the service. Not only that, but they discontinued my email service I've had for years, and offered me no option to continue its use, even for a monthly fee as some other internet services do. They carefully explained to me how they don't pro rate their service and how that was explained to me when I signed up. I then carefully explained to them that I had service at my address for 23 years, long before Spectrum was around and no one explained ANYTHING TO ME including the customer service person I spoke to when I scheduled my disconnection. This company is terrible and a complete disaster. Their service is spotty at best and I recommend you use any other service but Spectrum. They are the worst. Fingers crossed they go out of business soon!!!!!! read more

This review is based off the amazing customer service I received from Hazmik & Raimond. They assisted me with everything. Got my new iPhone!

So we call for service and who ever answer the phone is the rudest person ever, for a famous company needs to hire professional staff.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. My bill automatically increases $9 every month and if you call customer service, they have the nerve to charge $5 for the call!!!! read more

Complete lack of customer service. Merely returning equipment. Waited without anyone even saying hello. Do not recommend.

My experience at this location was absolutely fantastic. Raymond was super helpful and actually offered me something that saved me 30% on my bill. Thank you again Raymond, ill be coming back for my phone line special! read more

No phone number to the stores even though the store manager called me. I couldn't get back in touch with anyone so I had to go back to the store. I traded a phone in and was told a box was being sent to retrieve my old phone. No such luck. They could've taken it the day I traded it in but instead I have to make a second trip. Maybe because it was a new store but they did not know how to activate my phone. Training needed!! read more

most of the staff stands around doing nothing when there's a ton of people in the store, only 1 member was running around trying to help anyone. sign up system wasn't working and the woman i spoke told me to sign up anyway? i said i couldn't because the device wasn't working and she just shrugged and walked into the back. terrible service read more

First I couldn't make a reservation online. Second I come in and hour after they opened and one person was working, another was clocking in. When the second person clocked in the first person left immediately...an hour after they opened, giving the person her was helping to the one who clocked in and with 2 of us waiting for help. He just held up a finger as he left as if saying one moment. All I needed to do was swap out my modem because it stopped working overnight and I was working from home.
