ordered the pot stickers and the panang beef for carry out. It was ready pretty quickly. Arrived in 10 minutes and it was already ready. Unfortunately they rang it in a panang chicken instead of the beef. It had a good amount of chicken, but could have used a little more sauce. Also would have liked it to be a tad bit spicier. Wasn't a huge fan of the pot stickers, and they also seemed deep fried instead of pan fried. Not bad, but there's better options out there for Thai! My husband and I went out of our comfort zone and tried this Thai place (it's also WAY closer to home than our usual spot). We ordered the Puket Dumplings, Pad Thai w/ Shrimp, Panang curry w/ chicken, and mango sticky rice. Our dumplings came out pretty quicky and were pretty tasty. IMO they come out with an unnecessary amount of sauce, but good either way. The Pad Thai and Panang curry were some of the best we've had. I only wish the Pad Thai noodles weren't over cooked, but the flavor was great. Mango sticky rice is one of my all time favorites and I was looking forward to it. It looked great, the mango was nice and ripe, rice was a good texture, but the mango cream sauce on top was very salty. We ended up leaving a lot of rice behind. Overall a very good experience. Very good food, and great prices. We were here multiple times when it was in the other location and the name was 4912. This place is smaller and much more cozy feeling, and the service is always great. The staff is very friendly. So glad it's right around the corner from our house. read more

We visited for lunch on a whim because we were driving by and were most impressed. First, the place is very tastefully decorated and we were seated immediately. The service was prompt and attentive throughout without being obtrusive. The food was very good - crispy veggie rolls, pad Thai, spicy beef, and drunken noodles - no complaints with anything. I have had dinner and lunch here at least half a dozen times. The atmosphere is ok and it matches the prices--it is the food that is really great! I like that you can get the spice adjusted to your bravery (or not). The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. I was in need of something Thai and quick. I ordered from here and was so happy I didn't have to venture out in public wearing my PJs. After I placed my order they told me it would be 45 minutes, they came in 20! The food was piping hot and fresh. I had the drunken noodles and potstickers and both were amaze! We ordered take-outs today and I got PadThai. The PadThai looks like at least one day old. It tasted old. The color of the scallion was not right--it was very dark and had the color of leftovers. I don't know if they use leftover PadThai for both dine-ins and take-outs, but the PadThai I had today was the worst in my life. read more

Ive tried hundreds of drunken noodle dishes and this place has some of my favorite! Their drunken noodles with the minced beef are spicy savory and perfect little bits of flavorful meat in a generous helping of heaven. Also love to put out the fire with their thai iced coffee. Visited for the first time on Sunday with three friends. Ordered the Rama Chicken and the Lemongrass Soup. My friends ordered the grilled salmon special, the pineapple duck, and the firecracker chicken. The "lemongrass soup" is simply Tom Yum soup. It was competent enough, but in no way distinctive. The rama chicken was an ice-cream scoop of machined chicken pieces in a puddle of thin brown gravy and under a teaspoon of peanut sauce beside steamed broccoli. Thoroughly mediocre. My companions reported that the salmon was overcooked, the duck was burnt, and the firecracker chicken was soggy. There are many better options for Thai. read more

About 20 years ago, I used to work at Fair Oaks Mall and there was a sort of fast food Thai place that had the BEST Pad Thai and Spicy Tofu I ever ate in my life. Unfortunately, they shut down but I never forgot about how delicious their food was in comparison to any place else. I recently ordered from here two nights ago for delivery while visiting this area and I'm now eating it again as I type this and it's literally like a flood of memories. It tastes exactly like the place I went to many years ago and it's absolutely delicious! Ordered takeout. Papaya salad packed some sinus-clearing heat that was a little unexpected, but it was refreshing. Calamari was tender with a nice light coating. Great food for reasonable prices. I usually get the green curry with chicken (Thai spicy) and it is the best green curry in town. The delivery is free if you order over $20 and I have never had issues with the speed or food quality after delivery. The physical location is small but it has really good service; every time my wife and I go the servers are very attentive and nice. A good choice if you are in the mood for Thai. read more

This is my go-to spot for lunch and I'll stop in about once a week! My favorite is the drunken noodle, yet I'll occasionally order the chili basil, eggplant, pad thai, or larb chicken. Ingredients are fresh. Service is very attentive, thoughtful, and prompt. Even when I've ordered take out with a request for my dish to be Thai spicy, they've packed extra packets of chili powder in case I wanted it spicier. Love this place! read more

Sortrel is one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to and I am not exaggerating. Ping the waitress has been so accommodating for the past five years that we have been going to this place. The service is always great, the food is always consistent, and the wait time is almost nonexistent every time we go here. This is the perfect restaurant to go to where food is above and beyond, the service is outstanding, and waiting time is below 15 minutes on average.
