Garlic Pepper Perfect Chicken
Erik C.

Stopped in while traveling for work. Flight in had left my stomach a bit off so I started with their Tom Yum soup which hit the spot! Had the garlic pepper chicken and it was delicious. Right amount of seasoning, garlicky and the broccoli brought it all together.

Glad we got in early for dinner as the place filled up quickly on a Friday night! We had great service, my rating is focused on food and presentation. Overall theme is that there is an emphasis on the show over actually quality of food. The menu, particularly the cocktail menu is beautiful and simultaneously overwhelming! However, we felt the actual cocktails and dishes that came out did not live up to the beauty of the menu! We started with The Earth cocktail, lychee soda and chive cakes-which were VERY oily, not great. Our mains took some time to come out, the red curry and the pad Thai were both good but did not stand out. Likely would choose other Thai options above this restaurant

Great food and service. Great taste and large portions. Prices were very fair. Ambience was good.

Chocolate Roti

First the decor is so nice, you walk into a very decorative dining area. Second, the staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful. Third, and most important, the food was amazing. Best drunken noodles and red curry I've had in a while. The drunken noodles were packed with flavor and everything was cooked to perfection. The curry was extremely flavorful and I couldn't help but to eat it all. For dessert , I had a chocolate roti and it was amazing!!! This is a must go to for Thai food!!

It was our first time here and we really liked it. Starting from interior design, interesting and various cocktails list and food, we enjoyed every bit of it! Service was quick and polite, they paid attention to every detail, even changed noodles( as my friend found it to bee a bit too spicy for her) and in the end they provided separate bills( which rarely happens in other places , especially for groups 6+) If you are coming with a group ( as we did) I suggest to make a reservation in advance, as the place is not very spacious. Parking also may be a problem, but you always can check the covered garage ( only ground floor) . We will definitely come back and also will check the other location in Ashburn.

Celebrated a birthday at this lovely restaurant close to work. The interior was gorgeous and the staff so welcoming. I was running late so I didn't get any photos of the decor. The menu looks like a beautiful upscale fashion magazine and it is filled with selections for everyone. I love Pad Thai so I had it with chicken. I didn't read the details of what was included so to my surprise it was topped with fried wonton flakes. At first I was worried, but it gave the already delicious dish another layer of flavor and texture. Everything was fresh and flavorful. It also came with a spring roll that was light and crispy. I will definitely be back to sit down and try a few more items. They also have mango sticky rice, but were out of it on the day of my visit. I will also try the location is Ashburn where I live. Glad to know I have two locations to choose from.

Plenty of parking available, in front of the restaurant there's 15 minute parking, but across the street there is currently free retail parking. They're cozy parking spaces so if you're driving something nice you'll have to put some distance between you and the restaurant. Customer service is average and does not stand out for my experience this time around. When I walked in I waited quite sometime before being greeted & seated. Maybe staff was working together on something in the back, but to follow the service was slow with not too many people in the building. Maybe it was my visit this time around but a sense of urgency was missing. The food was pretty good! I got Thai iced coffee, the angry drunken noodles with chicken, and they gave me a complimentary spring roll for free! The presentation was awesome with how these meals were served. The angry drunken noodles boast spicy but isn't too spicy; if you can't handle spice there's a good chance it's going to be too hot for you, but if you're a spice veteran like myself it's a walk in the park. Also they currently have a difference in portions depending on lunch or dinner. I got lunch and they were generous kudos to My Home Thai! The restaurant is gorgeous, the music was delightful with common songs you hear nowadays. This is a great place to bring your family, friends, a date, a colleague to catch up with etc. I've noticed a lot of restaurants are switching to this faux marble table top look with a grey and white esthetic; it looks cool and their menus look like magazines! Would I come again? Absolutely! They have a big menu and great quality food, I will be returning

The Angry Noodle (Drunken Noodle)

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants!! I get takeout from here very frequently. I love their pad Thai, healthy rolls, and gyoza. The drunken noodles are also very delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also so cozy and cute. I love that they have different coupon codes available online pretty often. My Home Thai will always be a top choice for me!

Panang Curry with veggies

I ordered takeout from My Home while staying in the area. I decided to try the panang curry with veggies. I was glad that it included rice, I wasn't sure if it would because on the online ordering it didn't specify. The curry was slightly watery but had great flavor and a good serving of veggies. When I ordered I had selected that I'd like silverware included and was disappointed to find that silverware and napkins were left out of the bag when I got to my hotel. I would order from My Home again.

Spring Roll, Pad See Ew and My Home's Pad Thai

Ordered two lunch special here for lunch today - and both were delicious. I got the beef pad see ew and my husband ordered the beef pad Thai. Both came with a spring roll and some won't chips. Everything was delicious. My husband ordered his as spicy and boy was it. He was sweating. The special was reasonably priced at $13 and the amount was a good portion. We ordered online and it was ready fast. I recommend trying it. I'll definitely try this place again and likely done in next time as they have outdoor seating and it would be nice to sit out there in the sun.

This place is absolutely made for photos. From the wall of flowers to the stylish décor and cute mini-grill setups, it's full of Instagram-worthy spots. The atmosphere alone makes it a fun place to bring friends or visitors. Service was friendly, and the food presentation is great. The table-top grill for the satay is adorable and makes the experience more fun. Yam Pla Duk Foo was the only disappointment. Traditionally, it should be made with crispy shredded catfish, and that unique texture is what makes the dish special. Unfortunately, it wasn't made with catfish here, so the flavor and texture came out completely different. Not bad--just not the dish it's supposed to be. That aside, everything else was nicely done and the restaurant is a very enjoyable place to sit, relax, and take pictures. Worth visiting for the ambiance and creative presentation.

crab fried rice

This location is my favorite go to Thai food! I have been coming here for over 2 years, the quality and service has never changed. When you first walk in, it is a bright cozy atmosphere and I am always greeted warmly. The seating and tables are very clean and comfortable. I came here most recently and saw that they changed their menu, now it is easier to see the variety of foods that they serve because theres a picture of almost every dish! The servers are always polite and more than happy to help. When I last went, I got the lunch specials that are reasonably priced and they come with a fried row. My go to dishes that I order is duck roll and crab fried rice. If you love peking duck, you need to try the duck roll. I have tried multiple duck rolls at other Thai places, but this one is incomparable. The roll itself is large and is stuffed with crispy duck, cucumbers, and spring onions. The plum sauce paired up with the roll makes a perfect combination of savory sweetness. The crab fried rice is always topped with a great amount of lump crab. Once you get a bite, you would not want to put the fork down. The taste is fresh and clean. Eating these two will always hit the spot. I am willing to drive an hour to this location because of the service and quality of food. Highly recommend!

My mom and I were seated right next to the front door by the manager. Since it was freezing outside and the door kept opening, we politely asked if we could move to a table away from the draft. He told us no because a large group was expected to arrive soon. We then asked another employee, who said it wouldn't be a problem and moved us to a different table. A few moments later, the manager noticed we had been reseated. He came over, abruptly took the menus from our table, and angrily told us to leave the restaurant. The way he spoke to us was aggressive and totally uncalled for, especially considering his own staff had seated us. We decided to leave at that point. As we were heading out, he raised his voice again and told us to "go home," which was embarrassing and uncomfortable with other diners around. There was no confrontation on our end -- we didn't argue, complain, or cause a scene. We simply asked not to sit in the cold draft by the door. The entire situation escalated solely because of how the manager handled it. It's disappointing because the restaurant advertises friendly, welcoming service, which was the complete opposite of what we experienced. After reading other reviews, it also seems this isn't an isolated issue. If the owners see this, I'd strongly suggest addressing how customers are spoken to. No one should be yelled at or treated aggressively for making a simple, reasonable request.

We were pleasantly pleased that the bistro did not have a wait and we were seated immediately without reservations. Looks like there is also outside seating once the weather really warms up. The menu consisted of many familiar items. Many of the dishes allowed for a choice of protein. For my entree, I went with the shrimp pad see ew. Though the portion was generous and the noodles were cooked well, the dish was a bit too salty for my taste. It also had a noticeable kick of white pepper, which I actually enjoyed - but the salt was overpowering. Unfortunately, not only did I finish a glass of water at the restaurant, I found myself grabbing another glass after getting home. La Ong is low-stress dining in a cozy spot. Service was friendly and parking was a breeze with plenty of spaces.

It was so good that we were craving it again just a few days later and ended up going back. Even thinking about it now is making me crave it again. In the photo is their papaya salad and another dish that I believe was siomai. I am not completely sure of the name, but it was good as well. The restaurant is easy to find since it is right next to a Starbucks. If you enjoy Thai food and love crispy pork belly, this dish is definitely worth trying.

I actually want to rate this meal 2.5 stars but since I can only give whole stars here, I'm giving the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. I think it can still be pretty good, but not with the dishes we ordered. We came for lunch and ordered off the lunch special menu. That meal comes with the entree, and either a vegetable spring roll and chicken lemon grass soup, or a vegetable spring roll and vegetable lemon grass soup. They offer a third alternative of two spring rolls as well which I think is a pretty nifty option. The two entrees we had were the vegetable tofu drunken noodles and the chicken sweet basil (pad krapow). The spring rolls were fine. Crispy on the outside, cabbage on the inside. The soup was unfulfilling. It tasted a bit like lemongrass soup but it was not tasty. For the entrees, we were able to adjust the spice level: I went for "hot" (3 out of 4 of their scale), while my dining partner went for "medium" (2 out of 4) on the drunken noodles. At most Thai restaurants, these two dishes generally have a similar flavor profile. Here, they do, indeed, have a similar profile between themselves. However, the sauce was quite red. It had a vinegary overtone and possibly some tomato base to it. It did not match the pad krapow flavor profile that I've found at basically every other Thai restaurant I've been to (in the United States and Thailand). It could be this is an authentic version I'm just not familiar with, but I really did not like it. Overall, Thai Luang is a decent place. Perhaps some of the other dishes and curries are good, but there are too many other Thai restaurants in NOVA these days for me to use up a meal coming back here.

They were slammed. And I think they did a great job with the demands of the patrons. Let me explain the 1 star rating. My friend raised her glass to take a sip of her cocktail. The entire bottom broke from the top and spilled the contents over 4 people. Half my pants leg was covered. Another had her purse drenched. Another her shoes were soaked. The one with the drink - her entire pants was soaked. My friends husband talked to the bar manager and he said he would comp us (4) a drink. So we told the bartender what our friends husband said. The bar manager came over and said he is only going to comp my friends drink that exploded. We all looked at him like "WTF just happened?" His bar back cleaned up the mess around us and saw all the liquid on the ground and stools. I don't even think they check to see if we were ok. The 3 of us paid our tabs and left. I haven't been to Tiki Thai much this year but when I had, I never had an issue. The service from the bar manager was appalling to say the least. There are so many restaurants in Reston Town Center that we can spend our money at and we will from now on.
