Service was fantastic. They were on it all night ensuring that our water was filled and that we had what we needed. Food itself was pretty good. Drunken noodles were chewy and I love the way they cook their fried tofu. Although I got Thai hot, it wasn't very spicy but not a problem as they had a spice rack they could bring me. Potstickers were lukewarm probably wouldn't get them again, but they had good flavor. Really comfortable and aesthetically pleasing inside. read more

Came in for lunch in the middle of the week as this place came highly recommended by one of my colleagues. I had the lunch portion drunken noodles with beef. I requested medium spice, but the food wasn't hot enough - so I should've asked for hotter! Nonetheless, the drunken noodles were delicious. The flavor was rich, texture of the noodles were perfect and the beef was just as I like it. Though I got the lunch portion, I still had leftovers to take home which speaks to the generous portion. Very disappointing and uncomfortable experience today, 6/18/2026 around noon. We asked to sit at a larger booth/table because we had large backpacks and the two-person seating was extremely tight. The waitress refused and said we couldn't use the 4-person table because it was too far from the kitchen and it was busy lunch time. But the restaurant was not busy at all, only a few groups were eating. Then, right after us, a white couple came in, also only two people, and she immediately seated them at a large 4-person table, even though there were still many smaller tables available. That made us feel like we were being treated differently as Asian customers, and it was very upsetting. On top of that, the food was terrible. It was covered in way too much sauce and extremely salty. I literally had to rinse bites with water to make it edible because I didn't want to waste the food. Bad service, uncomfortable treatment, and bad food. I won't come back and I'll tell my family and friends to avoid this place. read more

Pretty reliable spot for Thai food with an okay amount of space inside - it's comfortable. There's also a random pho option, which is surprisingly good. I've tried a variety of dishes here, and it's above average every time. Service is good - my water cup is always full though. Plenty of parking with it being in the shopping center. I really liked the chicken satay. The chicken was juicy and tender. The peanut dipping sauce was so full of flavor. I loved it. The fried rice was excellent. There were loads of shrimp, pork, and chicken. The rice was so tasty. We also had chicken pad Thai which was super yummy. There were big chunks of delicious chicken. I really love how they allow you to adjust the spice level to your taste. Service was good and the food was packed well for traveling. I tried Finn Thai on the recommendation of a friend and I wasn't disappointed. The dishes we had were really good. Prices were a bit higher than other area Thai restaurants. The ambiance at the Reston location was very comfortable and cozy. We went for lunch and ordered the somtum papaya salad (1 spice level out of 2), drunken noodles (1 spice level), and the chicken chili basil (2 spice levels). The somtum came out quickly and was fresh and crispy. It had some good sourness to it and the spice was very mild. If you like yours spicier, you might want to ask them to adjust it for more. The drunken noodles were similarly mild. They are listed on the menu with 2 spice levels and, having not dined here before, we asked for it milder, fearing it would be too spicy. I recommend you order it as listed (2 spice levels). We got ours with tofu and the tofu was cooked to a very firm crispiness outside while still being soft inside. The sauce and flavoring were good. I was a little disappointed in the size of the portion relative to the menu price, as well as the lack of vegetables. This had onions mixed in and came on a few large leaves of lettuce with sliced tomatoes on the side. I consider the lettuce and tomatoes more of a garnish rather than integrated vegetables. The chicken basil was excellent. The portion was big and the thin slices of white meat chicken were huge. The spice started out mild but slowly built to a decent level. I still like mine spicier so I might ask for that at my next visit. This pad krapow was better than what I've had at most of the other area Thai restaurants. Overall, the prices were higher than I'm used to, but I'll still be back to try other dishes. read more

I ordered the basil chicken, Thai spicy, and my wife ordered the drunken noodles, American spicy, with minced chicken. The food arrived very quickly, a good thing because we were in a hurry. My wife thought the drunken noodles was the best she has eaten anywhere. I had a try, and can confirm it was pretty good. My Thai spicy basil chicken had some heat, but not quite Thai spicy. The flavor was not as flavorful as the drunken noodles, but good. the chicken though was a bit dry inside. Overall, I would go back. This was my first time in Reston and my first time at Finn Thai. My order was a Thai iced tea that was served in an adorable mason jar and was super sweet. Delicious. I ordered the crispy rice salad which was equal parts sweet and citrusy, honestly a standout dish and I haven't had it elsewhere. Finn Thai is a great Thai option in Reston. I was very happy with my group's orders of Calamari, Drunken Noodles, and Pad Thai with Shrimp. Everything we ordered arrived at the table hot and fresh. The Calamari was nicely fried. The Pad Thai I ordered came with a generous amount of shrimp and was flavorful. And the Drunken Noodles were tasty. The cherry on top of our meal was a nice and comforting in-season Mango with Sticky Rice. I also tried the Firecracker Chicken which consisted of a large portion of fried chicken sauteed in chili paste; however, the dish was too heavily fried for me. With that said, the inside of the restaurant is cute, clean, and comforting. I like that the interior design is not as camp as some of the other Thai restaurants in Reston. Ai was trying to decide between a four and five star but really, they're a five star restaurant. Fast and polite on the phone. They read the order back to you so there's no mistakes. They give good time estimates so you're not waiting around. The food is extremely well packaged and in solid containers. You don't have to worry about anything falling or slipping. Everything is hot, fresh, and tasty. Why the four star consideration? The pad Thai is on the sweet side for me. But I resolve that easily by adding my own sriracha when I get home, just as I would in any Thai restaurant I was dining in. Plus lots of people like their pad Thai on the sweet side so it may be a bonus for them. We used to eat less Thai food as we had a hard time with the leftovers. Pad Thai doesn't heat up well after being in the fridge. However one day we tried to bring them back to life by making an omelette with them - and that totally works! I'm updating my review to discuss how using delivery worked out for us. We were easily able to order from their website. They use Door Dash for delivery. It all went very well and the food arrived right on time. We plan to order again from Finn Thai. The food traveled very well. We got soup to start. I had tofu soup while my husband had lemon grass soup (tom yum) with shrimp. Both were as good as we expected them to be. For entrees, I tried their pad Thai and was impressed. The amount of chicken in it was generous and the flavoring was on point. I've ordered pad Thai in other places where it seemed to have a slightly off flavor which I could never figure out what was going on. Thus, I was pleased to find that it wasn't the case here. My husband had "peppery garlic" which has pork in it. This dish comes with white rice. When they say "garlic", they mean it! We each saved half our entrees for the next day and every time we opened the fridge we smelled the garlic LOL. All in all, a good experience from start to finish. read more

This is my new favorite Thai place in Reston. I used to get Busara at RTC, but it closed. My favorite is the Pad See Ew beef, which isn't in the menu but you can get it if you call (it's a wide noodle non-spicy sweet/sour dish!) you can get it with any meat but my favorite is the beef!
