Good Sushi hard to find in Herndon/Sterling area - so glad Sushi Cho has a location there. Friend & I loved everything- easy parking, light spacious, comfortable space, friendly service - and excellent sushi! Menu is extensive, lots of options - spicy noodles & rolls complemented our sashimi plate. Highly enjoyed our visit, will be back.

Got their lunch special of the chicken teriyaki bento box & tako yaki. The miso and tako yaki came out piping hot. I think this place has my favorite tako yaki now due to that reason alone. The bento box was a good deal and I had to take home the rest of the chicken and rice because I couldn't finish it all though I would likely try another bento next time or another lunch special - I thought the teriyaki was fine, but I have had better. The tempura was nice and I'm glad it's part of all the bento. At the end of my meal, I got a complimentary piece of the spicy salmon sushi. Overall a nice place and I should also give their sushi a try.

What a find!! Fantastic food quality. Extensive menu. Management and staff who genuinely act appreciative of your dining there. Not only was the flaming salmon belly a sight to behold, they are using high high quality Spanish king salmon. The shumai was as good as any I've had anywhere, anytime. The Titanic roll was also very good. I'm very much looking forward to additional visits, to try more and more from their menu.

I'm so glad there's a great sushi place in the area and I don't need to drive out as far! The speciality rolls are all amazing with generous toppings and portion sizes, so you'll def get full quick. I like the flaming salmon belly appetizer and it's quite a show when they light it on fire. The soft shell crab appetizer was pretty good! The shrimp tempura and okonomiyaki were standard. Our server was kind and brought out a mochi ice cream for my birthday and even had a happy birthday song playing which was very cute and nice. The inside is decorated nicely and clean. I highly recommend making reservations.

I was really excited to hear a new sushi spot opened up in the area. There's plenty of parking and it's a decent sized restaurant. I've heard good things about their Fairfax location so I was looking forward to trying this out. While they are new, they make up for it in other ways. My first attempt eating here was to-go, which I had to wait a bit to get greeted. While it wasn't the best experience, I could understand since it was busy and it just opened. This next go around, we went for lunch. Complimentary soup and salad. We had a few rolls not pictured here but I do want to highlight their apps. The salmon belly was really good. The sea-bass was melt in your mouth and perfect texture. We had a few rolls and were equally good. The service was great, servers were attentive and gave us everything we needed. The decor was really nice both at night and during the day. I am a huge fan of this place and will be coming back!

To preface, this spot has excellent service. Waiters always came by to make sure we were good, and even gave us complimentary Seared Yellowtail and Chutoro cuts, which were some of our faves from the night! Unfortunately, my disappointment was in the rolls we ordered.... the Mafia Roll was our favorite rolls that came recommended by our waiter, and a roll I highly recommend as well. Had like 5 different cuts of fish and multi-colored tobiko, and you would think it'd be too much packed into one big roll, but the flavors surprisingly balanced out well, a bit of sweetness, saltiness, and freshness! We also ordered the Flying Dragon Roll, Salmon Lover Roll, Scorpion Roll, and What a Match Roll, but unfortunately all were either bland or lacking texture, which was surprsing.

Some of the best sushi I've ever had. I ordered online and it was ready in 15 minutes. The lunch combo is a pretty good deal. It also comes with miso soup and a salad for around $30. The fish was so buttery and fresh. I'm from California and I still dream of this place!!

Sushi Cho has been one of my go too sushi spots and with a second location opening up in Sterling, I had to check this one out! The Food: Went with two of my favorite rolls. The Salmon Lover and the Lady Killer. Both stood up to the same high quality and was delicious. The quality of the fish was fresh and left me full with how generous their rolls are. The Service: Service was great here! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Food came out in a timely manner and the staff always came around to check up on me and refill water. The Atmosphere: This location is much better than Fairfax in terms of space/parking. This location has plenty of parking, due to it being in a big shopping complex. The dining space inside is spacious and has more tables as well. Overall, a 5/5. Quality and service is the same as their Fairfax location. Always top tier on all fronts. Would highly recommend and I'll definitely be coming back. Especially with this location being closer.

Sushi Cho in Fairfax has been highly recommended and they have now expanded to Sterling in the Wegman's shopping center. Sushi Cho is legit...tons of different rolls to choose from. Fish is fresh and tasty. Look forward to coming back and trying more options.

Awesome spot for sushi in the area! We got the sashimi deluxe and shared a bunch of rolls which was perfect. All the fish was very fresh and tasted delicious! The interior was trendy and sleek and service was great!

Wanted to try something new for date night. Very tasty sushi and sashimi. Service was a bit slow but staff was very friendly. Nice vibes on a Saturday evening. The house sake is tasty and smooth and not too fruity. I think the eel sashimi was my favorite. Would definitely recommend and would return !

I was skeptical with the 4.9 star review but this is legit. The sashimi is very fresh and on par with some of the best sushi in the nova area. The price is reasonable and when I ordered for takeout they gave me a surprise hand roll!

Lunch Special 3 rolls. From top to bottom: spicy tuna, yellowtail and unagi
    Leon L.

We came for lunch and the portion for the sushi salad (daep bab) was plentiful. One of the few times I got full at a Japanese restaurant. The rolls are really good as well. The yellow tail was buttery. The eel and spicy tuna are also good as well. Ambiance is also very modern and clean. We'll definitely come back and try other menu items. On pricing, Sushi Cho gives good value for what you get. Pricing is also transparent so you don't get caught with hidden fees.

A lot of the NoVA hibachi spots aren't open for lunch on the weekends. We chose Sakura Grill because it was one of the few that were. We came for a Sunday lunch and it was nearly empty. Service was pleasant, but the hibachi chef did the bare minimum. We started with a couple appetizers - the crab rangoons, takoyaki, and an eel roll. All were satisfactory and brought out quickly, but noticeably absent from the takoyaki were the bonito flakes. I will commend the restaurant for being mindful of dietary restrictions. We had someone in our party who requested no onions in their hibachi, and the chef was able to accommodate without any issues. We also had someone who ordered the vegetable hibachi, and the staff asked whether that diner was a vegetarian and advised that the hibachi meals came with shrimp. Another plus was that they had a sink in the dining area to wash your hands. As for the hibachi presentation, the chef lit the grill on fire, spun the spatulas around at the intro, tossed the egg up and down a few times, did the onion volcano (though poorly executed), and attempted to throw a piece of zucchini into our mouths. There was an option for a sake shot from a squeeze bottle, but we all declined. The chef relied on a few gimmicks - a silly squirt bottle and a clucking rubber chicken. He didn't have a lot of showmanship or pizazz or any wow factor. The chef wasn't very engaging - he might as well have cooked the food in the back kitchen. This was my brother-in-law's first time at a hibachi restaurant, but the lack of razzle-dazzle in the cooking did not impress and left something to be desired. I ordered the filet mignon hibachi. Each hibachi meal comes with a small house salad and hibachi soup (mushroom based broth with fried onions). You can also swap out for the miso soup, if you like. The filet mignon was nice and tender. I could've done with more flavor, but I guess that's what the dipping sauces are for. One of my favorite things about going to a hibachi place is the fried rice. This fried rice was average, and the veggies were also average... everything was average. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff were kind enough to sing happy birthday twice - once from the hibachi chef with the onion volcano and once from the waitstaff with a festive drum and tambourine. I will credit the waitstaff for providing effective service, but the food and hibachi experience were pretty mid overall.

I've eaten at just about every restaurant in this shopping center over the years, so I'm not sure…read morewhy it took me so long to try Gogi Go Go. It's truly a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, Jackie made us feel incredibly welcome. His genuine hospitality made it feel less like dining at a restaurant and more like being invited over for a traditional, home-cooked Korean meal. Having traveled and dined in Seoul many times, I really appreciated how authentic everything tasted. Every dish was freshly prepared and full of the bold flavors that I expect in Korean cuisine. One of my biggest pet peeves is when restaurants water down Tteok Bokki until it tastes like sweetened tomato paste. Gogi Go Go absolutely nailed it. The spice profile had the right amount of heat, and the rice cakes had the perfect chewy texture. The Pajeon was loaded with fresh vegetables and beautifully cooked, with a crisp exterior and tender center. The BBQ bowls have generous portions and the Bul Dak sauce was packed with flavor. Their Kimchi was delicious as well and tasted very fresh. A surprise of the night was the soy garlic wings. Since Gogi Go Go doesn't really market themselves as a Korean fried chicken restaurant, we ordered this with fairly low expectations. I definitely underestimated them. They arrived piping hot, perfectly crispy, generously coated in sauce without becoming soggy, and were well sized. They honestly rival, and in fact surpass, some of the dedicated Korean fried chicken spots we've seen come and go in the area. As someone who's a long time Ashburn resident, I remember when there were very few authentic Korean restaurants nearby, and to experience a good one meant driving to Fairfax or Centreville. It's exciting to see that changing in recent years, and Gogi Go Go is a fantastic addition. Their authentic, home-style dishes really hit the mark. There's lots of variety in the menu and you're sure to find something you'll love. The atmosphere is casual enough for an everyday meal (we had just come from the gym), yet the level of hospitality makes you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just another customer (that quality can be hard to find and truly makes this place special). Highly recommend giving this locally owned (not a chain) restaurant a try. We'll definitely be back!
