Lunch Special 3 rolls. From top to bottom: spicy tuna, yellowtail and unagi
    Leon L.

We came for lunch and the portion for the sushi salad (daep bab) was plentiful. One of the few times I got full at a Japanese restaurant. The rolls are really good as well. The yellow tail was buttery. The eel and spicy tuna are also good as well. Ambiance is also very modern and clean. We'll definitely come back and try other menu items. On pricing, Sushi Cho gives good value for what you get. Pricing is also transparent so you don't get caught with hidden fees.

What a find!! Fantastic food quality. Extensive menu. Management and staff who genuinely act appreciative of your dining there. Not only was the flaming salmon belly a sight to behold, they are using high high quality Spanish king salmon. The shumai was as good as any I've had anywhere, anytime. The Titanic roll was also very good. I'm very much looking forward to additional visits, to try more and more from their menu.

Awesome spot for sushi in the area! We got the sashimi deluxe and shared a bunch of rolls which was perfect. All the fish was very fresh and tasted delicious! The interior was trendy and sleek and service was great!

I was really excited to hear a new sushi spot opened up in the area. There's plenty of parking and it's a decent sized restaurant. I've heard good things about their Fairfax location so I was looking forward to trying this out. While they are new, they make up for it in other ways. My first attempt eating here was to-go, which I had to wait a bit to get greeted. While it wasn't the best experience, I could understand since it was busy and it just opened. This next go around, we went for lunch. Complimentary soup and salad. We had a few rolls not pictured here but I do want to highlight their apps. The salmon belly was really good. The sea-bass was melt in your mouth and perfect texture. We had a few rolls and were equally good. The service was great, servers were attentive and gave us everything we needed. The decor was really nice both at night and during the day. I am a huge fan of this place and will be coming back!

To preface, this spot has excellent service. Waiters always came by to make sure we were good, and even gave us complimentary Seared Yellowtail and Chutoro cuts, which were some of our faves from the night! Unfortunately, my disappointment was in the rolls we ordered.... the Mafia Roll was our favorite rolls that came recommended by our waiter, and a roll I highly recommend as well. Had like 5 different cuts of fish and multi-colored tobiko, and you would think it'd be too much packed into one big roll, but the flavors surprisingly balanced out well, a bit of sweetness, saltiness, and freshness! We also ordered the Flying Dragon Roll, Salmon Lover Roll, Scorpion Roll, and What a Match Roll, but unfortunately all were either bland or lacking texture, which was surprsing.

Sushi Cho has been one of my go too sushi spots and with a second location opening up in Sterling, I had to check this one out! The Food: Went with two of my favorite rolls. The Salmon Lover and the Lady Killer. Both stood up to the same high quality and was delicious. The quality of the fish was fresh and left me full with how generous their rolls are. The Service: Service was great here! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Food came out in a timely manner and the staff always came around to check up on me and refill water. The Atmosphere: This location is much better than Fairfax in terms of space/parking. This location has plenty of parking, due to it being in a big shopping complex. The dining space inside is spacious and has more tables as well. Overall, a 5/5. Quality and service is the same as their Fairfax location. Always top tier on all fronts. Would highly recommend and I'll definitely be coming back. Especially with this location being closer.

Sushi Cho in Fairfax has been highly recommended and they have now expanded to Sterling in the Wegman's shopping center. Sushi Cho is legit...tons of different rolls to choose from. Fish is fresh and tasty. Look forward to coming back and trying more options.

Wanted to try something new for date night. Very tasty sushi and sashimi. Service was a bit slow but staff was very friendly. Nice vibes on a Saturday evening. The house sake is tasty and smooth and not too fruity. I think the eel sashimi was my favorite. Would definitely recommend and would return !

We started digging in before we even had a chance to take pictures -- that's how excited we were to try everything! It was a wonderful experience that really highlights the chef's skill and creativity. We ordered the Crunch Roll, Tonkatsu, Yami Yami Roll (deep-fried), Philadelphia Roll, and a special roll prepared by the chef. Nearly everything we tried was exceptionally good. The Crunch Roll had a satisfying texture with fresh, flavorful pear (I believe), which added a nice touch of sweetness. The tonkatsu was hearty and well-balanced, offering great crunch and savory depth. The Philly roll was fresh, clean, and a classic done right. The chef's special roll was truly the highlight of the meal -- I believe it was seared salmon. It was thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and packed with layered flavors that just melted in your mouth. You can tell the chef takes pride in each creation. The only item that didn't quite stand out as much was the deep-fried Yami Yami Roll. While it was nicely prepared with a great crisp texture, the flavor felt a bit mild compared to the boldness of the other dishes. It was still enjoyable -- just not as memorable as the rest of the lineup. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and welcoming, making sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. The ambiance is classy yet comfortable, creating a refined but relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for both date nights and special occasions. Overall, Sushi CHO delivers high-quality sushi, impressive craftsmanship, and a beautiful dining experience. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi in the area.

Amazing! Went in last night to grab a bite without knowing anything about this place before, and the food was absolutely amazing! Loved every piece of sushi I got and was very super filling (miso soup was really good!) The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was great! Our server was great and very attentive. Would highly recommend this place!

Fun girls dinner at Sushi Cho Sterling. We got their softshell crab and edamame as our appetizer. Then a sashimi deluxe, 5 pieces of toro (with complimentary sashimi slices), and some rolls (crunch scallop, sunny sunshine, lobster in paradise, and salmon skin). Complimentary ice cream and complimentary seared smoked toro at the end. 10/10 I would highly recommend

The food was great. It was so hard to choose there were so many options. Very nice open atmosphere. Large tables, perfect for groups. The staff were super friendly and had great suggestions. I cannot wait to return and try some of the other recommendations!

Chef special on the house. So good!!!!

Sushi Cho is one of our favorite places. We're so happy that the Sterling location is open. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. The staff is very friendly. Food is FRESH and so satisfying. Here are the things we ordered. Tako wasabi: perfectly blended 10/10 Shrimp & Veg Tempura (Entree) 6 shrimps 9/10 Seafood yaki udon spicy 6/10 too sweet for us. Med spicy (it's not a soup) Yami yami jumbo roll 6/10 it's fried roll. Sushi & Sashimi Combo 10/10 fresh and nicely sliced fish. Not too thin but perfectly done. Overall we are happy with Sushi Cho Sterling definitely will be regular here.

It was the first time my young kids had been to a hibachi, and they loved it. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. They had it decorated beautifully. We were seated quickly and had our orders taken shortly after. The servers were friendly and entertaining. The food was delicious, reasonably priced with good sized portions. We got edamame and spring rolls for appetizers, which were yummy, and the chicken with vegetables, fried rice and noodles. Everything was great! I have a feeling we will be back again!

The waitress came to check on us twice in the beginning and after our food arrived we never saw her again. It was not until 20 or 25minutes later that another waitress came by to check on us. Not sure what the hang up was as the restaurant was mostly empty. The side of noodles was weird. I was expecting asian flavors, but we got spaghetti dunked in soy sauce and covered with black pepper. This was also on the kids menu as well, my son could barely eat it due to how spicy it was. My other kid got a Ramen bowl and that was essentially the same noodles as above in a pool of chicken broth that tasted like it was dumped out of a box. It was very bad. Usually when we go to Noku in the Village, my kid devours the Ramen bowl, but this one was left untouched. The maki rolls were OK, but pricy and not worth their value. The rainbow roll, I believe, only had 4 pieces. Also, the pieces of fish on top of the rainbow were very small and underwhelming. The fact that it cost more than our usual sushi places added insult to injury. The Philli roll was more cream cheese than salmon. Finally, some minor issues that demonstrate that the staff doesnt really care: the waitress poured the beer so fast that it was 90%head, and she just moved on; and, when our sushi tray came out the wasabi and ginger were missing. In my 15+ years of eating sushi in all types of places, all over America i have never had a situation where the ginger and wasabi were left out. This was not a major issue for me as mistake happen, no big deal. However, given the poor experience this did not help the matter.

There is so much to love about this family-owned business. The friendly owners obviously put lots of care into the dishes that they prepare, and they show great attention to detail. We love that soondubu comes in a stone bowl, for example. We also appreciate how the proprietors show us how to eat the assorted dishes, like which sauce accompanies which item. It feels like they want us to enjoy things "the right way," and that goes to show how dedicated they are to showcasing this cuisine, regardless of the diner's level of experience with Korean food. Our whole family appreciates how well executed their cooking is. And the owners don't just excel at authentic Korean dishes, both more traditional (rice cake soup) and street food/fusion ones (rose tteokbokki). They also make exemplary ramen! The broth is to die for--my picky son's favorite in NOVA. And I can tell just looking at the pork belly and the ramen egg that each component is masterfully prepared and delicious on its own, and as part of the noodle soup bowl. One thing that you'll consistently find at this mom-and-pop business is that their food preparations lean toward balanced and clean flavors. Their food is noticeably less oily compared to similar establishments. The clean and pleasant environment are also a perk. I appreciate how they always have fun food competition shows playing in the background. (And I don't get it when restaurants leave television programs with less appetizing content on the screen or screens, hah.) They are constantly coming up with new specials, like bulgogi hot pot (dine-in only), so we'll be back for familiar and new-to-us dishes.
