A tray holds a bowl of ramen with broth, noodles, and toppings, alongside a yellow bubble tea drink in a tall cup with a straw. The setting is a modern restaurant with wooden tables, chairs, and a wall sign that reads 'Love to be yourself.' Large windows allow natural light, and a self-service kiosk is visible in the background.

Came back to finally try one of their ramens, and they did not disappoint. I had the Classic Pork Miso Ramen with some chicken katsu and other additions. It was delicious, filling and quite comforting. I also had a boba tea to go with my food. I think I had pineapple boba. I love their boba teas, so no complaints here. They always have a lot of people coming in and out for takeaways and mobile orders, but my order didn't take very long to come out from the kitchen. I would definitely come back to try other dishes.

I love everything about this place. I noticed the Honeypig neighbor but o wanted something small and new! Thanks to Yelp reviews, we ventured out to try this place. It's so cute inside. The staff is friendly. The Tofu was perfectly fried, just like Japanese style tofu. The katsu was also lightly fried and so delicious. The portion was big enough to share. The highlight of my meal was the Taro "snow" with brown sugar bubbles and 50% sugar. It was thick and tasty. I love the container it was in, so sturdy. We will definitely come back to this cute little shop.

Seriously delicious ramen! I got takeout and they packaged it well and didn't skimp on broth like some places do when you takeout. They filled the broth too the brim and the toppings were amazing! The taro milk tea was good too. Service was quick and the sit down area is nicely decorated and quiet so perfect for a lunch or a place to chill while studying or reading. The only downside I can say is that it is kind of pricey but it's still worth checking out!

The ramen and katsu chicken were AMAZING!!! YUM!! We ordered via DoorDash, but our order arrived VERY fresh and very warm! I ordered the Build Your Own Ramen with the curly ramen noodles, egg, shoyu broth, chashu, bamboo shoots, and bean sprouts. My friend ordered the chicken katsu rice bowl. Both were simply delicious and AMAZING!!! YUMMY for our tummies!! We will most definitely order from here again!!

This retsaurant recently opened up, somewhere in the heart of Ashburn! They specialize in various teas and ramen. There are a lot of items I would love to try, but for today, I stuck with the chicken katsu rice bowl ($12.95). They have pictures for the specialty items on their web site, whcih makes it helpful when ordering. They gave a generous portion of chicken and rice but very little sauce. There wasn't much interaction with the staff since we ordered take away at the kiosk.

If you're looking for a no-frills ramen and boba spot, this is the place to be! Bubblebee x Ramen is in the same shopping center as Honey Pig in Ashburn, so it can also be a great spot to stop in for bubble tea/ boba post-KBBQ eats. For me and my friend, we chose to get lunch here (we were craving ramen) along with ordering some unique bubble teas. I ordered a personal ramen with the black garlic tonkotsu, along with some agedashi tofu + blueberry lychee tea. Everything came out fairly quickly, and all the food tasted super clean + refreshing. I enjoyed the amounts of the black garlic in the broth, and the chashu was fairly hearty. My friend enjoyed her ramen as well, and she ordered the green apple yogurt tea and she enjoyed that. The staff here were super nice and also let us know their recommendations, and I just really love the decorations here. I like that they have a lot of offerings on the menu for drinks and bites to eat, so definitely check it out if you're in the area!

FOOD/DRINK: 4/5 SERVICE: 5/5 EXPERIENCE: 5/5 We went to Bubblebee x Ramen after reading an article about their opening. We learned that this was their opening week so be aware that they are still working out the kinks. The ambiance was so cute! They have a light up sign that says "love to bee yours" with cozy seating. Service was very good and prompt. I think the owner was there as he asked how everything was when we were leaving. You have a choice of ordering from a big touchscreen kiosk or the traditional way with the cashier. We chose to use the kiosk, which was pretty seamless. They have pictures of the items as well. I think it would be helpful if it also had descriptions for what type of tea was in each drink. I typically avoid jasmine tea in bubble tea as it can be a bit flowery. I also would like a description for the food and if you could have substitutions for sides. I am sure this will come in due time. I ordered the chicken katsu rice bowl with the mango lemon fruit tea (50%) with mango popping bubble. My husband got the beef rice teriyaki bowl with the strawberry sparkling tea. *Note - they also have coffee and ice water, but no sodas or lemonade - it might be helpful to have some bottles of other drinks to sell, especially for to go orders FOOD/DRINK: -chicken katsu rice bowl - chicken was perfectly crispy and seasoned well, came with dipping sauce and rice -mango lemon fruit tea - great mango flavor but had a bit of a floral aftertaste -beef teriyaki rice bowl - tender beef with a yummy teriyaki sauce on it, came with salad and rice -strawberry sparkling tea - it's kind of like their version of an Italian soda - fresh strawberry and lime flavor, slight floral aftertaste Welcome to Ashburn! I would definitely come here again!!

Customer service is great. Well kept clean even the bathrooms. Staff are friendly and informative about the menu. The food we had was great, hot, and fresh. The broth is very flavorful and the heat is not over powering the flavors. Bonds are plenty and the vegetables are fresh.

Tofu udon and taro boba

I traveled to the area for work and was craving boba. The place I tried the day before was just meh so I'm extremely happy I found this place. I'm not an expert but I do enjoy my boba frequently. I ordered the taro half sugar and it was so good! Not too sweet, great taro flavor, and the pearls were soft and chewy (not hard like some places). I also ordered the udon with fried tofu and spicy miso. SO. GOOD. The portion was so much I couldn't finish it all and got to take some left overs to enjoy later. Service was quick and super friendly. As I was eating, I overheard other customers ask for random things like an extra side of this sauce or that... and workers were so accommodating. Thank you guys for being so kind! I will defiantly be back.

The image shows a bowl of ramen with a red broth, topped with chopped green onions, bean sprouts, tofu cubes, and half a boiled egg. Next to the ramen, there are three spring rolls in a foil container and a small cup of dipping sauce. A large pink bubble tea drink with a sealed lid and a straw is also present on the granite counter. The setting appears to be a casual dining or takeout environment.

I wish I could have taken a more pleasing photo but the food here is great! Super fresh, great noodles, and the broth is delicious. I was pleasantly surprised, I wanted to give it a try and I'm glad we did. The inside is clean and cozy. We will be back.

Jinya Ramen Bar offers a trendy, modern, metropolitan atmosphere. The space has a lively energy, with techno/disco-style music playing in the background, a full bar, and televisions featuring sports programming. The crowd appeared to include a number of younger couples, which added to the overall vibrant feel. I ordered the Chicken Yuzu Shio Delight and customized it with spicy bean sprouts, fresh garlic, and chicken wontons (each an additional charge). The dish arrived hot--which I always appreciate--and was exactly what I was looking for: flavorful, well-balanced, and satisfying without being too heavy. My kids ordered from the children's menu and clearly enjoyed their meals--they liked it so much that they asked for more noodles. I ended up sharing some of mine and ultimately ordered an additional bowl. The staff was very accommodating throughout, which made the experience even better. The restaurant is family-friendly, even with a bar as a central feature (which we did not utilize). The host was welcoming, and the staff presented a cohesive, modern look with all-black attire. While the style is clearly part of the restaurant's trendy aesthetic, some aspects of the dress may be a matter of personal preference (too short in my opinion, I would not like my daughters wearing such short attire). Overall, this was a great experience. The food was satisfying without being overly heavy, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was engaging. I would certainly recommend Jinya Ramen Bar to anyone in the mood for quality ramen in a lively setting.

Overall, it was pretty tasty. Nothing outstanding, but maybe my taste buds weren't functioning. It was not bad overall, and was filling as I hadn't a proper breakfast even. I would rate it 7/10. Not bad, and the cost for dine-in was a little over $20, which wasn't bad but not cheap either. For the service, I'll give it a pass. The waitress came to check on us twice in the beginning and after our food arrived we never saw her again. It was not until 20 or 25minutes later that another waitress came by to check on us. Not sure what the hang up was as the restaurant was mostly empty. The side of noodles was weird. I was expecting asian flavors, but we got spaghetti dunked in soy sauce and covered with black pepper. This was also on the kids menu as well, my son could barely eat it due to how spicy it was. My other kid got a Ramen bowl and that was essentially the same noodles as above in a pool of chicken broth that tasted like it was dumped out of a box. It was very bad. Usually when we go to Noku in the Village, my kid devours the Ramen bowl, but this one was left untouched. The maki rolls were OK, but pricy and not worth their value. The rainbow roll, I believe, only had 4 pieces. Also, the pieces of fish on top of the rainbow were very small and underwhelming. The fact that it cost more than our usual sushi places added insult to injury. The Philli roll was more cream cheese than salmon. Finally, some minor issues that demonstrate that the staff doesnt really care: the waitress poured the beer so fast that it was 90%head, and she just moved on; and, when our sushi tray came out the wasabi and ginger were missing. In my 15+ years of eating sushi in all types of places, all over America i have never had a situation where the ginger and wasabi were left out. It feels like they want us to enjoy things "the right way," and that goes to show how dedicated they are to showcasing this cuisine, regardless of the diner's level of experience with Korean food. Our whole family appreciates how well executed their cooking is. And the owners don't just excel at authentic Korean dishes, both more traditional (rice cake soup) and street food/fusion ones (rose tteokbokki). They also make exemplary ramen! The broth is to die for--my picky son's favorite in NOVA. And I can tell just looking at the pork belly and the ramen egg that each component is masterfully prepared and delicious on its own, and as part of the noodle soup bowl. One thing that you'll consistently find at this mom-and-pop business is that their food preparations lean toward balanced and clean flavors. Their food is noticeably less oily compared to similar establishments. The clean and pleasant environment are also a perk. We walked in for lunch and it was busy, 10+ tables. It took a minute to be seated, no big deal, but we noticed immediately that the man seating us was also the ONLY employee on the floor. We watched as he made drinks, boba, pulled cases of Coke behind the counter, refilled water, and some 10 minutes later, finally made it over to take our order. We were very leery, but another employee suddenly appeared out of the back with the table settings and we were assured it was fine. We order and it takes about 10 more minutes just to get the broth. That starts BOILING before any of the meats, vegetables, or other items are delivered to the table. By this point we haven't eaten anything other than the complimentary peanuts and cucumbers, and we've been there a half-hour. My son's chicken arrives soon thereafter, and we finally receive the hot pot stuff. And that's the last we saw of the service team until he brought the check nearly 30 minutes later. We tried waving him down for refills, the other employee walked by and asked if we wanted a refill on the broths and then forgot about us. For an all-you-can-eat hot pot place, they sure can save a ton of money by never refilling your items, drinks, or broth. He brought out the check at nearly an hour later and I asked why he hadn't offered me a refill for any of the hot pot items. He apologized and then asked if I would be paying via card. I used the reward dollars we'd saved from previous visits because we don't think we'll be returning. Literally, absolutely zero inclination to serve us more food or even acknowledge that we were still hungry and hadn't seen him or any other staff after the initial table set. I removed the defaulted 22% tip HE selected on the credit card reader he brought to the table and asked for the manager. He said he'd be back, then disappeared to the kitchen immediately and didn't return for the 10 minutes we decided to wait. Another customer asked us if we'd visited before, and we told them we were monthly visitors, but this would likely be our last time. Another employee we hadn't seen the entire time we'd been there came to bus the table and we asked her if there were problems. She told us she couldn't talk about it, then hurried off to the back without even finishing our table. Most likely they were at least watching her, and would retaliate if she said anything out of line. A group walking in heard me complaining as we walked out, stopped me to ask what happened, then followed us back out the door. Can't recommend them anymore. Not sure what happened in the month since we were last there, but it's apparent it's not being managed actively. Short staffed is one issue, being poorly staffed by employees who don't care is a larger problem. Maybe new ownership and management is needed, if it continues like this, the corner will be vacant before too long. Sad, because this was a good place without having to drive to Falls Church. They could've cornered the market here in Ashburn.
