Entrance - A Vietnamese restaurant interior featuring wooden tables and chairs, wall-mounted artwork, and potted plants near the entrance with glass doors.

A small little place, hidden in a large shopping area. When you walk in you will notice the fish tank and some wall paintings. Quiet music. The food, to be honest was a lot better than I expected. My son got the Shaking Beef ($$18.95), which he would get again. My wife and I split a pork sandwich ($8.75) and the eye round steak , well done brisket, and meatball pho ($16.45) and a pineapple bubble tea ($6.45) Everything tasted great. Would come back. The only thing about the pho is that it lacked veggies. I've had pho before that had veggies included. The service was good. The same people that cook also do the service. They were friendly and attentive.

Pretty decent pho at a fair price. Quality- All the pho and soup noodle dishes are flavorful. The broth is thick and the meat is presented well. The cold vermicelli noodles with meat and egg rolls are good but lacked a bit of flavor. I wasn't a fan of the beef skillet with egg. It was too salty. Quantity- you get a lot for the price. Atmosphere- it's always packed here but otherwise nice. Service- a bit slow. I can tell they are busy

First time here... - A bowl of Vietnamese beef pho with sliced beef, green onions, and cilantro, served in a clear broth. A side plate contains bean sprouts, sliced jalapeños, and lime wedges.

Visited this place for the first time. I have been looking for a good Pho place as I recently moved. Mi dined in and my order was prepared quickly and out to my table. Sadly the place does not serve tripe with any of its soup selections. However the broth was delicious and with all the bees selections they had - the soup was great. I'll come back for another dinner and will try another selection. Recommend this place for Pho.

Chicken pho - A bowl of chicken pho with broth, sliced chicken, green onions, cilantro, and herbs, served with a white soup spoon.

We stopped here for a quick bowl of pho on a cold day. We ordered a beef and chicken pho, both came out quick and were yummy. I'm Viet and although this isn't my mom's cooking, it was on point and tasty. We'll be back!

Extras - A resealable plastic bag holds fresh bean sprouts, basil leaves, and a sliced green chili, likely for cooking or salad preparation.

I ordered takeout and it was ready in less then five minutes. I ordered the beef pho. It came packaged perfectly. The bowl had the noodles which I was able to pour the hot broth over with the beef. All the extras (basil, jalapeño, bean sprouts, and lime came it a seperate bag. The flavor was very good I would come here again.

#11 Beef and Brisket Pho with Watermelon Bubble Tea Delicious lunch!

My son and I dropped in for lunch today after our optometrist appointment nearby (Loudoun Eye Associates - great people). This place is a sweet little hole-in-the-wall, which reminded me of some of the best little restaurants in most any China Town. The beverage menu is fantastic, with a nice selection of smoothies for Bubble Tea (Boba). My son had the Coconut and I had the Watermelon Bubble Tea. The pearls were perfect, soft with that little bit of chew. The pho menu is not as varied as some other pho places I have been to (especially in California), but they have the basics. The brisket was nice and tender, and the beef was lean and plentiful. The broth was tasty and well seasoned and was hot, but not too hot, so we could dig right in without having to let it cool down. The plate of Thai basil, jalapenos, bean sprouts and lime wedges was generous and fresh. All the usual condiments were available in huge bottles right at each table. We both ordered the large portions of pho and Bubble Tea, and I could not finish mine. The all male staff members were efficient and polite. I will be returning to try their Banh Mi sandwiches.

They use disposables to serve their dishes. The pho portions are a bit small. The broth was okay. The staff was nice and friendly.

Small portions and over priced. Don't order if you're hungry. Large pho is smaller than a small at other pho places.

I would say that Sense of Thai St. has become a neighborhood staple and stands strong among the other great Thai places in the area. Definitely has improved and remained steady over the years. The service is always top-notch, and the bar with limited kitchen options stays open late as one of the only late-night options in that immediate area, which is nice after a big gym session in the evenings. I still think the prices are a little hard to swallow for the portion sizes in terms of how much actual protein you get with any one dish. But it's undeniable how perfectly balanced the flavors and spices are, and the menu is always evolving with a very wide range of Asian fusion and traditional Thai dishes. I have a TOUGH time figuring out what to order because every creation sounds so amazing! I recently got the beef noodle Thai ramen with the five-spice egg added (see photo), and it was really good. The five-spice egg is a must try, bursting with a rainbow of flavors and accenting any dish.

A good starter. Liked most of the appetizer except for the wings. They are a bit too sweet for me. For entrees, we got a whole fried fish. The branzino was a good size and perfectly fried. We were trying to find pictures of Siam chicken and unable to find any. It is more like orange chicken to be honest. It was decent. Final dish was chicken pad Thai and that was good. Their pad Thai is always delicious. Overall the food was good but the service was spotty. Had to ask for water refill even though the waiter walked by and can see the almost empty glasses. We were there later in the evening so it was not really busy.
