    Lunch special now $12.95

Lunch special is now $12.95. Flavors of Kapow Chicken were good. Portion size was smaller than last time. The Tom yum soup is not good. Doesn't taste like Tom Yum at all, lots of oil floating on top yet the flavor is weird and watery.

Everything we tried was good! I loved the green curry with bamboo shoots. Although I had gotten it with beef I feel as though it could have been better with a different meat choice. For appetizers we got crispy tofu and calamari which were both amazing and came with sauce! Service was a bit slow since it had seemed to be understaffed today, but everyone was wonderful! NICE decor and ambiance and i loved the florals! I would come here again! I do recommend the crab fried rice although it could be more salty!

I kept on hearing that this place wasn't that good but the group I was with insisted on going here. Unfortunately, the rumors were right. Not only was the food not good, the service was sub par as well. We were given a drink menu first (before a food menu) and we all tried to order drinks but they insisted that every drink had "real milk" in it. They didn't have any alternative milk or creamer to use instead and I can't have milk at all. It was extremely awkward since they kept pushing the drinks and I literally couldn't have any. Two people in the group ordered thai iced teas and I noticed that if you checked in on Yelp, you got a thai iced tea for free. I asked for them to apply it and they said okay. Well, we we got the bill, it was on there. I asked for them to remove it from the bill and they tried to make one for carry out instead. They huffed around and passive aggressively cleared the plates after honoring the coupon. Why have the coupon online if you don't want to honor it? Or tell me you're not going to honor it right from the beginning... To the food: I got the pad see ew and my friend got the pad pik khing (medium spice). My boss got the crispy chicken and I forgot what everyone else ordered. We ordered the spring rolls with tofu and the chicken satay. The chicken satay was good, but the peanut sauce that it came with was separated with a layer of oil on top. The spring rolls were mainly mint and lettuce with a small, sad piece of unmarinated tofu. And I know how to make tofu flavorful. Food was brought out as it was done, which I appreciated. My pad see ew was sad. They were sickly sweet and the broccoli was basically uncooked and mostly stems. My friend's dish was not spicy at all and just tasted like coconut milk. My boss's food was deemed "alright" and we closed our check out. Too many Thai places in the area to give this one a shot again.

ASHBURN, VA 04/09/20 LUNCH DELIVERY +The Thai Basil Fried Rice was pretty good. Not too oily. +The little one loved the chicken satay. -The Shrimp Pad Thai was a bit sweet for my palate. -I would like to see some additional, unique Thai dishes on the menu. Maybe some Northern Thailand options, street food offerings, or noodle soups? I would classify this joint as more of a westernized Thai cuisine spot, if you are more into these type of restaurants. American-Chinese food lovers, you know what I'm saying!? -They do not offer the Thai spice tray condiments that I'm used to for take-out/delivery, unlike other Thai restaurants in the area. The Thai chili powder is weak. -No loyalty rewards program. Overall; this Thai restaurant is mediocre but when you have some top-notch Thai spots in the area, it makes it even more hard to give them a 3/4-star rating, so I'm going to have to give them 2-stars until I see some improvements. ICYMI: Thai Deelish and Sense of Thai St. pretty much blow all of the Thai joints out of the water, in Loudoun County. Nearby Sterling/Herndon/Reston also have great Thai offerings; i.e., Chao Phra Ya, Sortrel, Thai by Thai, etc. DM/PM your favorite Thai spots and/or cool dishes to try!

The food was delicious & the service was fast and helpful. Will definitely come back. The decorations are so cute and lite. Not over the top.

A solid Thai place for lunch. I got the Thai Basil chicken with Tom Yum chicken soup. My colleague got Pad Thai. I will definitely come back with my wife, who has more sophisticated palate than me.

Chicken Paradise but it came as a chicken meatball.

We were craving for Vietnamese food and came here because of the reviews…read more We were immediately seated after arriving. The restaurant is medium in size and decorated very beautifully. One of the white walls has an intricately-detailed painting of a Vietnamese woman wearing a triangular hat and round sunglasses while eating a bowl of pho. Another wall is made of painted white bricks and has paintings of pho carts and cooking stations. Dangling lamps that are designed to look like bicycles illuminate the restaurant and among them are wall sketches of landmarks you can find in Vietnam. In the back is the drinks counter, which has white flowers and a boba machine on it. There are also drink bottles in cubbyholes at the counter as well and paper lanterns hang nearby. A drink refrigerator is also close by too. We ordered the following: Starter #7 Thai pan fried fish cake- Daughter liked it a lot and said that it was delicious and wanted to have more. Hubs thought it was a little underwhelming and that it tasted like fish nuggets for $12. #85 - Vietnamese Shaking Beef- Daughter thought it was ok. Hubs said that it's one of the better ones that he's had and liked it. There was plenty of meat and fresh vegetables. He said that he wished that they served it with garlic noodles like in the West Coast. #62 Baby Clams Hot Iron Pot Rice, which is crispy rice baked in a cast iron pot with a stir-fry of vegetables (snow peas, mushrooms, carrots, bamboo shoots, water chestnut), quail egg and choice of proteins. We chose baby clams. We thought that this was pretty good. Daughter is starting to like clams and liked the entree a lot. Hubs said that this was the best dish of the night. He loved the crunchy rice on the bottom and the fact that they used clams as protein with claypot rice. He's drooling as we speak. LOL. #73 seafood crispy pan fried pho noodle, which is crispy pan-fried pho noodles dish topped with stir fried mixed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, bamboo shoots, tomatoes, snow peas, Napa cabbage, celery, mushroom) and your choice of protein We chose seafood. This was daughter's favorite entree of the night because she's never had pho pan fried before. It was perfectly crispy. Hubs liked it a lot and also liked the small bowl of beef pho that came with it. The beef pho was tasty. Service was quick and friendly. It is extra disappointing to go there seeing all their awards and ratings to be met with very poor service, unwarranted delayed steps between apps, mains, dessert, check! The broth of the pho had some kind of rancid /old food taste like you get when the wok/pot has not been washed properly after multiple uses. The fried rice and pad Thai lacked flavor and had an odd taste. The apps were alright. The banh mi was passable but got us feeling bloated within couple bites. Cost of everything was quite low, so may that is a plus for some. Further, when I tried sharing the feedback respectfully - after the waiter wondered why we had barely eaten and refused to go boxes- I was told to write this review online - which itself was weird. It's like the staff want to sabotage the customer experience or highlight the experience for the owner to take note. My best guess is the owner doesn't treat/pay his staff well and they are likely very checked out and doing the bare minimum or below it. The place was a mess also behind the counter, on the way to the restroom etc. with no deliberate storage of the overflow supplies. Sorry for the candor and the harshness- hoping the management takes a serious look and rethinks their work, or reconsider another line of business.

I've eaten at just about every restaurant in this shopping center over the years, so I'm not sure…read morewhy it took me so long to try Gogi Go Go. It's truly a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, Jackie made us feel incredibly welcome. His genuine hospitality made it feel less like dining at a restaurant and more like being invited over for a traditional, home-cooked Korean meal. Having traveled and dined in Seoul many times, I really appreciated how authentic everything tasted. Every dish was freshly prepared and full of the bold flavors that I expect in Korean cuisine. One of my biggest pet peeves is when restaurants water down Tteok Bokki until it tastes like sweetened tomato paste. Gogi Go Go absolutely nailed it. The spice profile had the right amount of heat, and the rice cakes had the perfect chewy texture. The Pajeon was loaded with fresh vegetables and beautifully cooked, with a crisp exterior and tender center. The BBQ bowls have generous portions and the Bul Dak sauce was packed with flavor. Their Kimchi was delicious as well and tasted very fresh. A surprise of the night was the soy garlic wings. Since Gogi Go Go doesn't really market themselves as a Korean fried chicken restaurant, we ordered this with fairly low expectations. I definitely underestimated them. They arrived piping hot, perfectly crispy, generously coated in sauce without becoming soggy, and were well sized. They honestly rival, and in fact surpass, some of the dedicated Korean fried chicken spots we've seen come and go in the area. As someone who's a long time Ashburn resident, I remember when there were very few authentic Korean restaurants nearby, and to experience a good one meant driving to Fairfax or Centreville. It's exciting to see that changing in recent years, and Gogi Go Go is a fantastic addition. Their authentic, home-style dishes really hit the mark. There's lots of variety in the menu and you're sure to find something you'll love. The atmosphere is casual enough for an everyday meal (we had just come from the gym), yet the level of hospitality makes you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just another customer (that quality can be hard to find and truly makes this place special). Highly recommend giving this locally owned (not a chain) restaurant a try. We'll definitely be back!
