If you're looking for real authentic Chinese food, dine here! They choose quality ingredients for their dishes, and they also prepare their food fresh. I was so so happy to find some of my favorite comfort foods on the menu like tomato egg drop soup, salt&pepper shrimp, crispy basil chicken, and steamed yellow croaker (a delicious and healthy fish dish), and Ma Lah spicy pork intestines. We ordered in the restaurant for takeout and every item we brought home was awesome. After searching so long around Ashburn for good quality Chinese food, we are happy to find our new local spot. P.S. I recommend you to try new menu items each time you visit! They have a huge menu and so far everything we've tried is solid.

Mongolian Beef (which is the picture off all the onions) - I would not recommend at all! It is 97% onion in the platter!!! Seriously?! And the flavor was closer to the bland side compared to any other Mongolian Beef dish I've had at other places... it was a complete disappointment and a ripoff! Don't do it! They did not provide any napkins or forks or knives to eat with. Isn't one of the perks of ordering food is not doing dishes?! I think so. Fortune cookies were stale. Honey dew bubble tea - yummm. The Crispy Beef came in a generous portion... it was tasty too. I'd give them a 2.5 just because the crispy beef was good but that's not a choice and I refuse to round up because of the negatives described in this review. Nope.

Nasty food. We got General TSO and Seasame Chicken. They used the same sauce on both. Only difference between them is one had sesames

My friend is craving dim sum after being in the country, visiting from Hong Kong for 3 weeks. My friend is quite tan, his mom is Filipino, but he grew up in HK and speaks mostly canto and Tagalog. We tried speaking Cantonese to the staff who are speaking it to each other, so they clearly can. My friend has perfect Cantonese. Mine is ok but I am also very clearly Chinese. They replied in broken English instead. One waitress looked at my friend and handed us forks. So clearly, some racism/colorism in the staff. Context: lots of Filipinos in HK are maids and generally looked down on, so not surprised this happened here. The food was mushy and gross. The shrimp in the cheung fan was grayish. It felt like they had this ready early in the morning and reheated it for later. Siu mai was falling apart. Cha siu bao was good but how do you mess that one up? I've gotten take out from this place before in the past and I always forget why I try to not come here, they forget something every time. At this point I'm sure they're doing it on purpose, like little thieves. Anyway, this place has the advantage of being close, with so little dim sum options in the area, unless you want to make the trip to Tysons or Vienna. Or Maryland. One staff member was laying down on a bunch of chairs nearby loudly watching something on her phone. Any other day, I wouldn't complain about that, everyone deserves a break. But given the food quality and the clear racism in the staff, they should be called out for everything. As with any Asian restaurant, feel free to treat me like trash if the food is good. But this place fails in both places.

Plenty of other options were available for when I get my tolerance for spicy food back, as the place leans Szechuan. You get good food at reasonable prices. Some of my favorites include Crispy Shredded Beef in Spicy Sauce, Fried Chicken Nuggets with Basil (a Taiwanese native favorite), and Wrinkled String Beans. Crispy Shrimp with Honey Walnuts is also really good. They offer a wide variety from stir-fries and noodle dishes to seafood, pork, beef, and vegetarian/vegan-friendly options. The kitchen is very accommodating. If you want milder spice, less oil, or custom tweaks, they seem pretty open to it. Because it's not one of those fancy places, the vibe stays relaxed and unpretentious, which I personally like. It's nice for families, friends, or a simple meal out without fuss. I also like to order take-out. :)
