Great service and a decent bit of food, still on the higher end but not bad for sushi in terms of price. Tasted fantastic and loved the feel of the place!

Grabbed dinner with my friend before a movie last night. We made it in just before 6, which couldn't have been more perfect. We were seated immediately and started ordering our dinner, while people flooded into the restaurant. My friend and I both ordered the chicken and steak hibachi which was delicious. Plus portions are decent, we both had to grab a to go box. Our hibachi meals came with a miso soup and side salad. We also had edamame as a starter. Service was quick but not overly friendly. Will return in the future.

Passing through Leesburg area to get home to Frederick and decided to grab a bite to eat at this spot. We loved everything that we ordered, the food was fresh, the service was super friendly and made some good recommendations! We're gonna add this restaurant to one of our favorites and be back soon!

The staff is friendly and the service is great and most of all, the food is very good. This is my local go-to for sushi and ramen

So, I live in the Village (a year and some change) and just tried Noku out for the first time. I had the Dragon with spicy tuna. It was pretty decent. The soup that came with it was ok ... slightly bland. The dumplings were again ok... got it fried, (it dried it out) should have gotten it steamed. I still enjoyed them. The Ramen (my first choice) looked really delicious... will be back to try that. The server said if I want it spicy just let him know... which I will next time. The service was good and it is good sushi. Folks who love sushi will enjoy Noku better that Wegmans.

Six star review if the option was available! The sushi was very well proportioned and fresh, and service was excellent. Additionally, the house made sesame salad dressing is delicious and makes a great alternative option for dipping your sushi rolls.

A great place for sushi! It's honestly hard to find great sushi spots that taste good with great service and Noku fits the bill. I will definitely be stopping by for more.

Wow! Loved this place! Located in the perfect location if you're looking to do shopping and grab a bite. This small sushi spot features quaint seating great for families or date night. Wide variety of options on the menu. I'm a sushi lover so of course that was happening! I customized our ordered of 3 rolls which came out quick and the presentation was beautiful. Prior to our food coming out were served side salads and soup which were included in the meal. The sushi was delicious. Best sushi I've had in the area. Everything taste fresh and so flavorful. We ate every bite! The restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place. It's an hour drive for me but we are definitely making the hike back there to eat here again!

didn't know this before, but uni is not supposed to be slimy (creamy yes, but not like this)

I was excited to try this place after shopping nearby and spent $60+ on lunch by myself, including uni sushi and a salmon teriyaki bento box. Within an hour of eating -- and having eaten nothing else that day -- I developed violent diarrhea and severe stomach pain that lasted for days. I contacted the restaurant multiple times trying to speak to a manager, and kept being told to "call back later." When I finally got through nearly a week later, I was told nothing could be done because I hadn't called sooner (I had), and that the chef claimed their uni is always fresh. I have photos of the sushi, which was visibly slimy -- something that I recently learned is NOT normal for fresh uni, according to food safety standards. The entire experience was disappointing and unsettling. I've reported the incident to the health department so they can investigate and ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I literally don't understand how less than a week later from my first review (this was on a WEEKDAY) that the service and food did a SHARP decline. I was raving about this place to my hubby after going with my friend so we ended up going. I got the bulgogi and green tea, he got the katsu, and we got the chicken karaage to share as an appetizer. Green tea was extremely hot and I couldn't drink it for more than half the time I was there. And it was burnt tasting. I tried to get water and my server had disappeared. We also didn't get the complimentary soup or salad. Chicken karaage didn't have enough sauce and the breading kept falling off. Cheap cut of chicken. Bulgogi had NO seasoning. It was just tasting like...meat. Nothing else. Rice was extremely dry (and I know how to make Asian rice). Katsu was VERY DRY and the breading fell off. Fried rice it came with was good enough but the veggies were hard and undercooked. Overpriced...and our waiter just forgot about us multiple times. We had to flag them down for the check after waiting for over 20 minutes after our plates were cleared. I will have to wait a bit before coming again. I hope they fix these quality issues. They are not consistent.

The employees are delightful and fulfill your every wish. I asked for a surprise dish not on the menu and was so delighted!

3.5 stars TL;DR: decent sushi and wonderful service Came here on a Saturday afternoon, a little after lunch time, and the place was pretty busy. We were promptly greeted and seated. There were several servers who attended to us throughout our meal, so our drinks were always full, and table always clean. FOOD: ~Miso Soup (4/5) ~Salad (4/5): Sesame dressing ~Soft Shell Crab (5/5): Fried perfectly, light and crispy tempura, could really taste the crab ~Sashimi platter (3/5): Came with a decent amount. The fish quality/flavor was mediocre ~Sushi B platter (3/5): good assortment of fish. The spicy tuna roll (1/5) that came with it felt like it had been made the night before. Very stale ~Kenny Roll (4/5): good combination of flavors Overall, a decent sushi spot for Leesburg!

The menu was very extensive serving Japanese and Korean dishes. I started off with the Yellow Tail Collar for my appetizer. I was excited when I saw the size of the portion being served to me. Although, it was very dry which was a let down. It was also a bit bland as well. For my main dish I got a rice bowl, an unagi bowl to be exact. Again, it was just adequate. Thankfully the bowl was a generous amount of food. Sadly, it was just a bit one dimensional and I got tired of eating it after awhile. Also, I felt like the bones were a little more pronounced than what I am use to when eating eel. Therefore, my experience was average. I may give it another shot if I am in the area again.

Attached is a picture of the what the Lion King Roll is supposed to look like and what we received. The crab meat on top looks like a spaghetti. The end pieces of the roll (that didn't have the tail) were all avocado and not even a little shrimp, I know that skimping out on the ends is normal but no shrimp at all is ridiculous. After eating two pieces my stomach has been hurting for the last 7 hours. The last time we got lunch from here the rolls we normally love did not taste the same, but at least they didn't get us sick so we thought maybe it was unlucky. They need to fire whoever is making the rolls during lunch because this quality control is terrible.

Overall, it was pretty tasty. Nothing outstanding, but maybe my taste buds weren't functioning. It was not bad overall, and was filling as I hadn't a proper breakfast even. I would rate it 7/10. Not bad, and the cost for dine-in was a little over $20, which wasn't bad but not cheap either. For the service, I'll give it a pass. I'm not a negative review kind of guy, but when it sucks, it sucks…read more We usually visit once a month, and have not previously encountered a reason to complain. But today broke us. We walked in for lunch and it was busy, 10+ tables. It took a minute to be seated, no big deal, but we noticed immediately that the man seating us was also the ONLY employee on the floor. We watched as he made drinks, boba, pulled cases of Coke behind the counter, refilled water, and some 10 minutes later, finally made it over to take our order. We were very leery, but another employee suddenly appeared out of the back with the table settings and we were assured it was fine. We order and it takes about 10 more minutes just to get the broth. That starts BOILING before any of the meats, vegetables, or other items are delivered to the table. By this point we haven't eaten anything other than the complimentary peanuts and cucumbers, and we've been there a half-hour. My son's chicken arrives soon thereafter, and we finally receive the hot pot stuff. And that's the last we saw of the service team until he brought the check nearly 30 minutes later. We tried waving him down for refills, the other employee walked by and asked if we wanted a refill on the broths and then forgot about us. For an all-you-can-eat hot pot place, they sure can save a ton of money by never refilling your items, drinks, or broth. He brought out the check at nearly an hour later and I asked why he hadn't offered me a refill for any of the hot pot items. He apologized and then asked if I would be paying via card. I used the reward dollars we'd saved from previous visits because we don't think we'll be returning. Literally, absolutely zero inclination to serve us more food or even acknowledge that we were still hungry and hadn't seen him or any other staff after the initial table set. I removed the defaulted 22% tip HE selected on the credit card reader he brought to the table and asked for the manager. He said he'd be back, then disappeared to the kitchen immediately and didn't return for the 10 minutes we decided to wait. Another customer asked us if we'd visited before, and we told them we were monthly visitors, but this would likely be our last time. Another employee we hadn't seen the entire time we'd been there came to bus the table and we asked her if there were problems. She told us she couldn't talk about it, then hurried off to the back without even finishing our table. Most likely they were at least watching her, and would retaliate if she said anything out of line. A group walking in heard me complaining as we walked out, stopped me to ask what happened, then followed us back out the door. Can't recommend them anymore. Not sure what happened in the month since we were last there, but it's apparent it's not being managed actively. Short staffed is one issue, being poorly staffed by employees who don't care is a larger problem. Maybe new ownership and management is needed, if it continues like this, the corner will be vacant before too long. Sad, because this was a good place without having to drive to Falls Church. They could've cornered the market here in Ashburn.

Be prepared to hunt for the place if you've never been to the shopping center, which is quite close to Route 7. We were here around 4 p.m. on a Saturday. At that time of day, there was one occupied table. Ordering food means going to the counter and giving your order to the person working there, and then paying. They have a menu on the wall, but the woman working there told us to look at the paper menu. Apparently, the menu on the wall is constantly changing. Before coming, we decided to order Mongolian beef, ma po tofu, and two small bowls of hot and sour soup. At first, my husband couldn't find the Mongolian beef on the menu. I took a look and found it is listed under the chef's specials. We gave our order and also got a can of ginger ale from the refrigerated chest. After paying, we chose a four top table for ourselves. The food came out quickly! First, the hot and sour soup came. It was served hot and did have some kick to it. We both enjoyed it. It does have quite a few button mushrooms in it, which I gave to my husband. Just as we were finishing the soup, both our entrees arrived. We both liked the Mongolian beef (which also had an abundance of button mushrooms). The sauce was tasty, and the beef was tender. As for the ma po tofu, we thought it was okay but could have been better. It's a meat-free entree that basically has large pieces of tofu, a lot of thin, spicy sauce, and bits of green onions. We each were given generous portions of white rice. We would consider visiting again in the future, as the service was excellent. As for ambiance, it has a carry-out place feel.
