The bun bo hue here is amazing !!! I also love their pho but when I'm craving for the beef noodle soup I know where to go. Service is great. Usually crowded but that's a good sign

Tea Break is my family's go-to (which is at least a once-a-week visit), and if we're not dining in, we're grabbing boba to go. Tea Break offers a large variety of options, so there's always room to try something new, or if not, I'd probably stick to the pho or the grilled pork chop (VR4). One tip: on the weekend (Friday to Sunday), their menu includes several dishes that are only available on the weekend. My mom typically comes here for the Bun Bo Hue. Portions are huge. My parents usually share something, and I swear a large bowl of pho can easily feed two. The owner and his servers are super nice and sweet, and they always take the time to say hi and welcome guests. I've also noticed that this restaurant is a big Uber Eats and Grubhub hotspot, with people constantly coming in and out grabbing orders, so I think it's also good for takeout.

I just want to say wow. I have never been to a Viet place that made me miss my motherland until this one. It's a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. My mom was told that this place has fresh crab from Maryland for their bun rieu which was why my parents wanted to try this place. Services, our waiter was so attentive. He even asked if we wanted to listen to Vietnamese music since we were their first guests of the day. Food, I had the bun Bo hue and it was so flavorful and deep rich broth. Plenty of meats and a large was humongous. They even have pig blood (chocolate iykyk) which is pretty rare to see. My parents love their bun, Rieu, and the crab piece was delicious. My sister had com tam and it was amazing as well. Overall, I love this place and would come back as often as I can. I would love to see this spot flourish. I wish them the very best. 10/10

One of my favorite pho places! The unfortunate thing is that taste can vary depending on location, and I find that the pho in Teabreak Sterling is top-notch while the pho in Teabreak Reston is very mid. That being said, I really do recommend the one in Sterling - the staff is wonderful, food is amazing, and drinks are delicious! It's understandable why they get so busy in the evenings.

Their banh mi sandwiches actually fill you up. Good price point. Added bonus that you can add a fried egg on top.

I haven't tried the food here, but I stopped by once cuz I had a craving for a fruit tea. I stopped by in the middle of the day on a Wednesday, and they weren't too terribly busy in the restaurant. They had a couple groups dining in, and a couple people came to pick up their online order. Their dining area is very comfy, but I just sat at one of the stools they have towards the front and waited for my tea. It didn't take very long to get it after I placed my order. I had the Kalamansi fruit tea because kalamansi tea sounded so refreshing. I had less ice in it, but I can't remember if I was able to customize the sweetness. It was really great, especially with the chia and the mango bits! I enjoyed it quite a bit! They provided solid service and tasty tea. I would definitely come back and try other ones when the cravings hit!

This is my second time here. When I'm visiting VA, I try to find Vietnamese food since it's my comfort food. My ILs took me here, and I love it. Parking: Free parking. Parking is very easy to find. They're located in a med-sized plaza. Ambiance/Environment: Walking in, you'll notice it's a small restaurant with limited seating. We always dine for a party of 5. First, you'll be asked if you'd like to dine or place an order to-go. Sometimes there might be a wait, depending how busy. We've always dined in though. Service: Everyone is very welcoming. It's definitely ran by a traditional Vietnamese staff. They're fluent in Vietnamese, but they do speak English (with an accent). Food & drinks: (I'm only going to review what I ate) 1) Pho Dac Biet - The broth was very flavorful and delicious. There were not many additives. The meats and noodles were equal portions. I got a regular bowl, and it was fulfilling enough. 9/10 2) Thai Milk Tea - The ratio of tea to half & half was just the right amount. It tasted light and not too sweet. 9/10 3) Cafe Sua Da - I'm a crackhead for caffeine, so of course I got Vietnamese coffee. It was concentrated and creamy. Perfect amount of sweetness from the condensed milk. Their version was topped off with sea salt foam which made it even more flavorful. 10/10 Pricing: Prices are $$$ more than average. Not surprised since it's located near the richest county.

Beef Banh Mi

Place was busy but we got a seat quickly! Great banh mi, bread is delicious and they put a lot of meat in the filling. Flavor was perfect and there was a spice to it which I loved. Definitely will be back here!

AP11. Grilled Chicken Skewer - Thịt Gà Nướng (2 Pieces)
Sean K.

Teabreak is pretty slept on in terms of food quality. The pho didn't stand out very much which was a little disappointing, but the highlights are the banh mi and the vermicelli dishes, they are delicious and portions are very generous. If i lived closer I would get banh mi from here more frequently. It has a cute hole in the wall vibe and atmosphere is good. Service is pretty standard as well.

Strawberry Smothie

I came back here recently and dined in with my family for lunch. This time around, our server was great. He was very responsive, courteous, and just a nice person. We ordered the Bun Bo Hue (BBH), Bun Rieu which I think is a new addition, a chicken skewer for the kids and side of rice, and a strawberry smoothie. The BBH here is the best in Loudoun. I haven't found a better place for it in the area yet. The Bun Rieu was good as well. The chicken skewer was a lot large portion, more than enough for two kids. It sucks this place only has these soups on the weekend. The ambiance has been the same every since I've stepped foot here several years ago. If you're looking for good Vietnamese food, this is the place for you!

Keep the Beat

I didn't expect this place to be good, it's either good pho and bad boba or vice versa but I was wrong. Both were fantastic. I got the Pho combo #2 which allows u to choose 4 different type of meats for your pho plus a summer roll or fried spring roll and a boba drank for $20. Pho came out piping hot, broth had flavor, good amount of meats and noodles. I got the Keep the Beat boba. It was really refreshing. I would like try other menu items but pho and boba is definitely a try.

Bun rieu
Pat T.

Came here after my sister's friend called this "the best pho place in nova." I had been to the Herndon location long ago, but I think the Sterling one is the original. The workers were nice and very welcoming, and it appeared to be family-run. The place itself is plain and simple, just like how a "homey" Vietnamese restaurant would be. This time, I got the bun rieu (crab noodle soup). Note: the bun rieu is weekend only (Friday through Sunday). I must say - it was very delicious! You can really taste the crab in the soup. Apparently, the owner catches the crabs fresh! I've also tried their pho and pork banh mi. The broths are fairly light, yet very flavorful; they have a "clean" taste that I enjoy. And they also are very generous with the toppings (ie a lot of vegetables to add to the soup). I'd skip the banh mi and get any of the soups. Overall, it was a great experience. I'm very happy that they expanded. I would be willing to try their pho at the Ashburn location, although I would suspect it to be the same taste!

I rate restaurants within their category and concept. I am not comparing a neighborhood boba and…read moretea shop to a Michelin star dining experience. If a place consistently delivers quality drinks, strong execution, and keeps us coming back, that earns a top rating from me. Teadm absolutely does that. We go to Teadm in Sterling often, and it has become one of our go to spots for drinks. Their Brown Sugar Milk Tea with boba is outstanding. Rich, creamy, and full of flavor, with the kind of texture that keeps you coming back for another sip. One thing I really appreciate is that their milk teas are actually milky and creamy. They are not thin or watery like at some other places. Also, the added traditional boba is excellent! It is consistently chewy, fresh tasting, and cooked perfectly every time. That kind of consistency matters, and they clearly pay attention to quality. They also offer a Brown Sugar Milk option with no caffeine, which is fantastic for the kiddos. Same creamy, satisfying flavor profile without the caffeine, and that has made it a family favorite. Another consistent winner is their Seasalt Bac Xiu Coffee. It never disappoints. Great balance of sweetness, coffee flavor, and that salted cream element that makes it so enjoyable. We have also tried the Color Switch Lemonade, which is good and fun to order. If I could offer one suggestion, I would love to see a classic simple lemonade or a lychee lemonade added to the menu as well. Overall, this place rocks. Great drinks, consistent quality, family friendly options, and the kind of menu that keeps us coming back. A solid 5 stars from me.
