It's pretty cheap for a bowl, but it's also cash only and the amount of food (everything) in it is small in comparison to many other pho restaurants. Food comes out extremely fast though, and it does taste good. Service is below average but acceptable (eat, pay, leave). The inside is nothing to write home about - looks like a standard pho restaurant.

Food is always amazing here. I go for the OG #1 which has everything in it. Service is as you'd expect from a traditional Asian restaurant. No frills but the food comes out on time. Ambiance is an old authentic Asian pho restaurant. I frequent this place because their broth is A1. Highly recommend visiting this place.

#6 Tai, Nam, Gan Slices of Eye-Round Steak and Soft Tendon

** Ate on September 27, 2024 ** Food - I got the #6 (Tai, Nam, Gan) - Slices of eye-round steak, well-done flank, and soft tendon regular bowl size. The portions were fairly sized and I liked the variety and amount of toppings that came with it (beansprouts, Thai basil, jalapeno peppers, and limes). In addition, there's self-service hoisin and sriracha and you can ask for little bowls to put your sauces in if you want to dip instead of mix the sauce into your broth. - However, the pho itself was pretty disappointing. The slices of meat had a freezer burn taste and the soup was not nearly hot enough to cook the meat all the way through, which may have led to the freezer burn taste. Service - A lot of other people have noted this already, but it's a cash only venue! - Service was fast and our food came out quickly. Service is pretty limited, it's self-seating and grab your own menu and once you finish eating, you walk up to the cashier area to pay. Ambiance - The restaurant feels a little outdated but simple with no frills. Overall, I was disappointed with the food and I would probably find a different local place to go to for pho. I am willing to give it another shot as it might be a one off, as I have tried the Falls Church location and the pho was great.

My favorite local Pho spot! Pho 75 has tasty, fresh ingredients that always leaving me craving more. The service is incredibly friendly and speedy. Once seated, you are given a menu and your order is given to you within minutes! My friend and I got Pho Tai, rare steak, and loaded our bowls with basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeños. Delicious broth, not too salty, and quality noodles. This bowl paired perfectly with our creamy and strong Vietnamese Iced Coffees. The ultimate combo! The ambiance is a classic mom and pop shop in the Elden Shopping Center - a spot that is very nostalgic for any of those from the area. This place has won the Washingtonian best cheap eats for a reason. These prices are such a steal for a quality meal!

This is a no frill simple decor pho restaurant. Their pho is not on the sweet side. Not a lot of star anise or cinnamon. I must admit lately been hit or miss on flavor. Sometimes, I need to add fish sauce and other times just bland. Today, maybe the cold winter weather outside but flavor right on point. Nothing beats a good bowl of hot pho when it is cold outside. My favorite are #1, 2, 9 or 16. Once in a while, I also get their Cafe Su Da. That will complete your meal. If you are looking for spring rolls or other appetizers, there are none. This is not the Vietnamese pho restaurant for you. However, if you do not eat beef and want to try chicken pho, Pho75 chicken pho is made with chicken stock. You sit at any table and they come and take your order. Your soup comes to your table and you pay CASH only at the counter.

Always been one of my favorite phở place to go in the area. The broth is always perfect and they give plenty of proteins. This place had been around forever and always have seating and the staff are very seasonsed, they are older gentlemen that are super sweet. This place opens early as well, they open at 9 AM so perfect for hungover meal before going to work if you work on sunday. Plenty of room and clean place. Cons: They only take cash so be sure to bring some cash if you don't want to have to pay the ATM fee!

When the weather turns chill, or even when it is still warm out, sometimes a great bowl of noodle soup hits the spot.  When that craving strikes, we head out to Pho 75 for a large #12.  You can smell the fragrant broth the moment you step inside to this simple and clean longtime restaurant.  Each bowl of soup is accompanied by a shared plate of add ins, including basil, jalapeno, lime and bean sprouts that you can add as you wish.  There are also a couple of sauces on each table to customize your pho.  The service is quick and friendly and the meal is always satisfying.  The iced Vietnamese coffee and the fresh lemonade are also tasty.  Parking is very easy in the big lot. Note that the restaurant is cash only.

Typical Vietnamese place with some yummy eats. There two sizes for the pho and I had got the small! It was filling enough but I'd say a large wouldve been too much for me. Broth was yummy and they gave us lots of pickled onions which I loved. If this place was closer to me I'd go pretty often! Also CASH ONLY!

I feel like I am more critical when it comes to pho and Pho 75 is the only place that I like thus far. I have been coming here since I was a kid (about 20 years). It is a no frills type restaurant that is cash only. I wasn't aware of the mandatory tip but now that I think about it my total did seem high for one person. I'll be more aware and most likely will go to another location. Regardless, the pho is flavorful, hearty, and comes out pipping hot. In my opinion no need for large amount of hoisin or sriracha sauce as the broth is already quite flavorful. My favorite are the meatballs and I love to load up on those!

Came here on a Thursday evening, and it was pretty empty (which is to be expected since it is a weekday). The pho here is pretty amazing to be quite honest, and I am from the 626 CA area where there are a lot of amazing pho places. I was pleasantly surprised about the meat to noodle ratio, and the meat was tender and was not tough at all. The tripe was also delightful in terms of texture and the broth was seasoned well. Also, the food came out in a timely manner and service was quick. However, don't bother getting the soy milk; I was under the impression that it was made in the store, but it just came from a can. Especially for the price, I will definitely come back in the future! Cash only also so make sure to bring enough!

The pho here tastes very good, and so does the Vietnamese coffee. Also, they take cash only, which I think gives this place a very nice and unique charm. I had the Vietnamese coffee with sweet condensed milk, as well as pho (Number 12 - Tai, Chin - Eye of round steak, well-done brisket). The prices are also reasonable and the food is authentic! It is a simple place, but that is part of what makes it great.

If you've been to any Pho 75 (I have officially now been to all locations, after hitting this one up near my hotel), then you'll know exactly what you're getting here. Absolutely delicious pho with fantastic broth and high quality meat. You're also going to get the same menu that all us regulars know of ... all pho, no appetizers and a few desserts with the usual list of Vietnamese drinks. Now if you've never been to Pho 75 (especially back in the day when they predated so many of the restaurants now all over the NOVA area) ... you'll likely feel like you're getting the shaft when it comes to appetizers ... and probably going to feel a bit hungry unless you double down on the noodles or protein. However, thinking within the framework of their menu, their pho is still top notch. I've been to so many pho joints here over the decades that I've seen many places lose their mojo/quality over time. Pho 75 is still one of the most consistent places I've ever been to. I just treat it as a place where I go for a quick lunch and don't expect to pack my stomach. This is what you get - great pho in a cafeteria setting with brusque service and a clear demand for cash only payments. But it's worth it. If you're an eater who loves to eat a ton of food, don't eat here. You'll never be happy with the portions even if it's on the cheap side.

Highly suggest the lychee mojito!! every person in our four-person girl group had two of these with deliciously plump fresh lychee on top of fresh mint, limes and just the right amount of rum to make you feel all warm inside! The decor was really nice too! Modern with a touch of fun and eclectic. Fortunately, my friends had already been here before, so I had plenty of good suggestions to consider. I opted for a plate that was heavy in vermicelli noodles, and upon ordering the server who took my order highly suggested that I order the woven vermicelli meal that came with lemon grass beef. I am so happy I listened to him because the dish was overflowing with delicious flavor and before I knew it, my plate was completely empty. Service was very kind, prompts and knew all the right suggestions to offer for a high quality experience. Plenty of delicious options for appetizers from classic favorites like fried spring rolls and rice paper summer rolls to savory entrées like short rib, hot pot Vietnamese noodle soups and fried rices. I can see why this place has quickly become a local favorite and why the ratings are all very positive! Lived up to the hype for sure! Thank you so much for an awesome dinner this evening! I really look forward to returning very soon.

After seeing that Pho Duong was getting good reviews, we decided to give it a try. We were here on a Sunday around 4:30. That was a good time to go as there were only two occupied tables at the time. When we entered, an employee was eating his meal. He told us to pick any table we wanted. After doing so, he gave us menus plus a carafe of iced tap water, which we appreciated. I ordered a small bowl of pho ga with white meat chicken, and my husband ordered a large bowl of pho with seafood. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. It was piping hot and accompanied by aromatics consisting of bean sprouts, fresh mint, lime wedges, and sliced fresh jalapeños. As for the food, we both liked the beef broth. My bowl had some large shredded pieces as well as smaller pieces of chicken. The larger ones were on the dry side, but the broth helped by adding moisture. My husband's large bowl had a good number of shrimps as well as seafood, which he couldn't identify. He showed me one piece that looked like a scallop to him, but he said it didn't taste like one. I also thought, from what he showed me, there was some squid in the bowl. Service was excellent from start to finish. When it's time to pay, you go to the counter, and an employee will ring you up. The place was kept very clean. While the decor is spare, it gives off the vibe of a good spot to enjoy a meal. And, yes, next time we want pho, this is where we'll go.

My wife and I frequent the Centreville location, though the distance and frequent queue deter us from visiting as often as we would like. This new outpost is much closer to our home, so we decided to check it out when the need for hot noodle soup emerged due to a bad cold. The ambiance here is basic but clean and quiet. Service ran pleasantly and efficiently despite only one server manning the dining room. On our first visit, we opted for the bun rieu and a bun thit nuong as well as nem nuon cuon. We slightly prefer the bun rieu at the Centreville location due its richer and more tomato-y flavor, though the rendition here still deeply satisfied with plenty of shrimp paste and a more seafood-forward broth. The nem nuong and bun thit nuong were both decent. I wish both carried a bit more char from the grill, and some of my grilled pork pieces were a little stringy. The pickled veggies themselves tasted fresh but had minimal acid. We have also gotten takeout from this location. The staff pack the orders very neatly, which is crucial for noodle soup. The broth remains piping hot despite a ~20 minute car ride. The pho itself ran a little more sweet and rich relative to the Centreville location and to our preferred taste, but still was very tasty and comforting. Additionally, we felt the portion sizes here are a bit more generous regarding meats. Overall, we still slightly favor the food at our go to Centreville Pho Duong, but if we need a quicker fix or takeout we won't hesitate to return to this specific location.

Indeed, most of the Vietnamese clientele in the small restaurant seemed to be enjoying hot bowls of bun bo hue, so I went with a bowl of that and my non-beef-eating wife chose the bun rieu. The bun bo hue possessed a clean yet very flavorful broth with notes of lemongrass and hot chili. The meat portions included generous slices of beef shank, pork trotter, blood cake, and pork sausage. Some of the beef shank cuts were a little tough, but the meats otherwise tasted up to par. The accoutrement of herbs and veggies included some authentic, hard to find garnishes such as banana blossom and Vietnamese coriander, which added a fresh, crunchy bite to complement the heady soup. Overall, this was an excellent bun bo hue and rivals many you can get at Eden Center. Similarly, my wife's bun rieu was superb. The broth had a light body but a very distinct and savory shellfish flavor. The crab and shrimp paste had a very silky texture and the bouncy fried tofu cubes soaked up the tomatoey broth perfectly. The bun rieu ran just a touch salty overall, but nonetheless is among the better renditions we have tasted in the area. Our bowls were about $18 each. While a bit steep, the portions satisfied and the quality of ingredients merited the cost. As the name alludes, bubble tea is also served here. My wife enjoyed a solid taro milk tea along with her noodle soup. We have gotten drinks from here in the past and find the offerings above average though, unlike the awesome soups, not necessarily worthy of a dedicated stop. Teabreak also serves other Vietnamese dishes such as banh mi and meats over broken rice, which actually looked quite appetizing coming out of the kitchen. I give this place a solid 4 stars for really tasty, specialty noodle soups and can easily foresee a five star upgrade in the near future after sampling some more dishes.
