The food was very expensive, which is why I'm complaining in the first place. The summer rolls were delicious. I'll give you that. But I got the veggie with tofu, first thing as it was absolutely a beef bone broth and their menu does not designate that the veggie contains meat even though it's a veggie soup with tofu. But the real problem was that it only had three pieces of small broccoli stalk and cabbage and onion. And the cabbage had black discolorations on it. Which may have been safe to eat, but at this price, the quality control made my meal on appetizing. They had a pho combo that came with any of the noodle soups, a spring or summer roll and a beverage so I went with that (Tai Gau Pho, Summer Roll & Diet Coke). I absolutely loved the pho! Flavors were on point, meat was plentiful and the noodles were perfectly cooked. One thing I wish was that it had more broth but other than that it was perfect! Pho New is a place that we have frequented over the past decade. Great phood. Nice people.

My partner and I have been coming here together for a little over 2 years now but she's been going for years. The food comes out within 10 minutes and always tastes amazing (and hot!). Every soup we've had has been fantastic and we usually opt for a leaner cut of beef. The small bowls are still pretty big and you get a ton of meat if you ask for double. This is the quietest restaurant I've ever been to and it's wonderful. No loud music, everyone is respectful and you can actually have a conversation. The place feels old and it's like walking into a cozy time-capsule where the food has been made and served the same traditional way since the day they opened. The food is reasonably priced considering the quality and quantity, it's more expensive to get a corporate slop bowl from a soulless place like Chipotle and I will happily come here instead where someone prepared our meal and nothing tastes fake or frozen. read more

First Impressions: We stop here for lunch on a Sunday after church, because I'm getting bored with going to the same places. The place was dead. It looked like the lights weren't even on, no customers, and dead quiet. One lady toward the back barely noticed we came in the door until someone from the kitchen shows out. I asked if they were open for business when I saw a table with dirty dishes, so at least someone had eaten there that day. There is absolutely nothing about Pho New that would suggest anything but the name was new. I might have turned around and left had it not been for the fact we were meeting someone there. When I walked in, I didn't know what I was supposed to do: order, pay, and sit down or go to a table and sit down and wait to order, so I went up to the cashier, and she directed me to a table and provided me a menu. When she brought my water, I was ready to place my order. I got my usual summer rolls and a combination of eye round and well-done brisket pho. Surprisingly, the summer rolls took a few minutes to come out. Usually, in other places, they come out immediately like they were premade. But not here; I believe they were made to order, which puts this pho restaurant above the others. As I finished my last few bites of the summer rolls, they timed it well and brought out the piping-hot bowl of Pho. It was filled to the top with broth, meat, and noodles, and when I dumped in the bean sprouts, mint, jalapenos, lime, and some sriracha, it was ready to be demolished. After eating the summer rolls, I seemed to get full very quickly and wanted a take-out container, but my server was nowhere to be found, and anytime I looked over in her direction when she was across the room, she never came over to me. After I ordered, she never returned. Not good customer service. Before paying my bill, I had to go to the register to get a takeout container. So, I downgraded a star because the waitstaff never returned after ordering. What if I needed more water or something else? A customer should never have to seek out the waitstaff at a restaurant. While the restaurant may look dead and old, it is a hidden gem. I have been to many pho restaurants around the area, and this restaurant easily had the best pho, both in taste and quantity. I haven't tried many of their dishes, but I can speak to the fact that the pho, summer and spring rolls, and lemon chicken taste incredible. But of course if you go here the most important thing to try is the pho. I have ordered their pho dozens of times, and it is always amazing. Had a quick dinner with my son. He had the beef ball pho and I had the vermicelli. The folks working here look like they work hard to keep this place going. We were here on Thursday at 5:30 and the place was almost empty (most likely given the time we came). Summer rolls looked OK with the shrimp seeming a little on the small size, the peanut sauce looked dark and dull. I did not eat these, my son did, and he said they were "OK". My vermicelli with grilled chicken and spring roll was decent. The sauce was not very intense and the grilled chicken lacked flavor. The spring roll was very good. If you do come here, I would recommend getting the spring roll for sure. My husband and I just moved into the area and while walking around Clocktower, we stumbled onto this cute restaurant. We went on a Sunday evening and the restaurant only had a few people there. We were immediately greeted by the owner. She gave us her recommendations on food and quickly served us our drinks while we waited. Both my husband and I ordered the chicken pho and what a surprise when she brought us our bowls! They were HUGEEE!! The small bowls were only 40 cents less so it was totally worth getting the size up. Throughout our meal she stayed consistent on bringing us more water and refilling our drinks. Aside from the pho being so good, the spring rolls absolutely SLAPPED. They were the crunchiest and it probably would make an amazing ASMR video for someone. I don't mind a nice clear broth from time to time, but I am used to cloudy, rich broth. -There's been a number of visits where my co-workers or significant other foodie have found hair in their soups, or we get the occasional waiter who lets his finger dip into the soup as he is serving the bowl. The Pho Tai (15) large was listed at $13.85. The summer rolls are now $6.99. When I got the bill, the large pho was $14.85 and I complained that the menu showed $13.85. We ordered from this place on Uber eats and did not receive our complete order. It was like fast food. Utensils came out in little bags. Pho was served with the typical beansprout, lime, thai basil combination. For a normal person, a small bowl will suffice, but if you're super hungry, the large bowl will work... maybe 2. Meat was fresh and the broth (most important) was well balanced. Not too salty and not too bland. A+ THE FINAL BAMBOO: Damage was $9 (plus tip) for a small bowl of pho. Add a dollar if you decide to go for the large. Grilled Pork Rolls on Vermicelli Bowl". The pork chop in C3 was tough and the marinate was tasteless. It came with a cup of pho broth, very salty and lacks the complexity of your typical pho broth. "Forgot" my crispy shrimp rolls after repeating my order THREE times on the phone and confirming. Never had an issue and i go here at LEAST once a week and today they forgot the shrimp rolls, i decided to try the grilled shrimp and rice dish and the shrimp was SLIMEY AF and hard as hell and it was only a 10 minute drive home from the restaurant so no way they got that hard and nasty in that amount of time. Call them and they proceed to say "too bad, we didn't charge you for shrimp rolls (they're outdated POS makes it so you don't know WHAT you paid for just the amount) and we don't do refunds" like wow... will NEVER be going here again even AFTER the people literally knew me and my bfs order anytime we would call or go in. This is my go-to Pho spot. It's also conveniently located near my apartment. Now, I've never eaten here. I've only ordered carry out. I call in my order and it's usually ready within 10 minutes. The staff is super efficient and polite. By the time I go home and prepare to eat, my soup is always hot and ingredients are super fresh it's just so comforting and yummy! Also, what I love is their Summer Rolls! They make them with chicken verses the typical pork. Don't get me wrong, I love me some pork... I'm Filipino. But for some reason I do not favor summer rolls with pork. (Typically, I have to order them without but in this case, I don't have to). Now for pho, I get #9: the round steak and brisket.
