    Spring roll

Very tasty. We got the spring rolls and the stir fried lemon grass tofu. Both had a ton of flavor. Staff was attentive and very nice. The restaurant and the restrooms were clean. I would come again

The crispy eggroll (cha gio) was crispy and looks to be double fried, leading to a really crunchy outside. Good amount of filling on the inside and the fish sauce is sweet and tangy. The Chilean sea bass was super crispy with a thick crust on the top. The glass noodles looked a bit on the thin side and tasted more like vermicelli. Lovely scallions on top. The bone in short rib was filled with noodle and a good amount of meat. The broth was a bit too salty and didn't have as much meat flavor on it though. Still, it was very filling! Pretty quick and efficient staff. Nice clean location and quite minimal.

Wait a shame that this place has gone downhill since I have last been here over a year ago... the waiter we had was very friendly and the fried tofu appetizer wasn't bad. However, it took over half an hour just for the chicken glass noodle soup to come out. The soup was so bland that I had to add multiple spoons of chili sauce to give it some type of flavor. The chicken was also very dry and overcooked. The booth seats are also very loose so if you lean back at all it will move the other customers and vice versa with them bumping you back... My friend also thought her pho wasn't good at all. Just take a look around at the main demographic dining there which are mostly non-Asians. Just make the extra 20 minute drive and get way better noodle soups in Centreville.

House Special Pho (Pho Dac Biet) - A large bowl of Vietnamese pho features bean sprouts, leafy greens, and a clear broth. The bowl is placed on a white plate, with chopsticks resting on the edge. Surrounding the bowl are glasses of water, small dishes, and other bowls with food, indicating a shared dining experience at a Vietnamese bistro.

Went here... again -- after the DC Bubble Run 5K, my friends and I were hungry and drained and I recommended this place (they've never been). They absolutely loved it! The Pho cured us and end of story, this place is great. PS: Service was great and ambiance was chill since we went at opening lol

The pho was delicious! The short rib pho had a really nice beef flavor. I got the bun Bo hue and the lemongrass in the broth really came through! They also had whipped Thai iced teas which was a fun little twist on the classic drink Our server was really nice and helpful and the interior was really spacious

Yelpers enticed me with their 4-5 star reviews. Located in a small strip mall, parking was easy. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had to move booths because the guy behind my seat kept butting his bench seat against my back. Staff always checked on us and food was delivered quickly. As far as food, I've had better IMHO, I am particular about my fried egg noodle with veggies and protein. The sauce didn't speak to me like other places. It was much sweeter and thicker than I'm used to eating. There was a good amount of fresh veggies and tofu. Hubby liked his massive bowl of Pho. The eggrolls were a tad greasy but they did have lots of pork filling.

The service was super friendly, cold water, and flavorful and fresh food. I have ordered for delivery before, but eating there was a nice treat!

This spot is nicely done, from the service, to the ambiance, to the food. My husband and I popped in before a flight and who seemed to be the owner sat us down right away, offering us water, and menus The restaurant itself was very modernly designed, and I knew the food was going to be good because a ton of Vietnamese locals flooded the place Great prices! I got the build your own pho bowl and my husband got the short ribs. The pho broth was sweeter and less peppery than I like but the flavor was still delicious, so I am keeping my review at 5 because that's just my preference in taste. The short ribs were tender and out of this world in my opinion. Amazing flavor. We also ordered spring rolls beef and shrimp and we both loved those as well We ate well and didn't leave hungry or broke. Will be coming back, thank you!

This is objectively the best viet place in nova. We ordered the lump crab fried rice, beef banana flower salad, and the chicken wings. The service was great. I remember we got pho from here in the past and that was gas too. Ambiance is bright, clean, and balanced feng shui. 10/10

Crispy Eggrolls (Cha Gio) - A rectangular white plate holds six crispy Vietnamese eggrolls (Cha Gio) arranged in two rows, garnished with shredded lettuce and herbs. A small bowl of dipping sauce, likely nuoc cham, is placed at the top of the plate. The eggrolls have a golden-brown, crunchy exterior, and the plate is set on a dark wooden table.

Our new go-to pho place. Good amount of seating and friendly wait staff. Bright and well lit space in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The crispy egg rolls are so hot and fresh and they have a hint of lemongrass that gives it a fresh touch. The pho broth is so 'clean' and refreshing. Not too murky like others and they give a good portion of meat and noodles. My favorite is the crispy egg noodles with beef and veggies. Good flavor, not too salty, and good portion

House Special Pho (Pho Dac Biet)

I got the house special pho Dac Biet ($17) and a viet iced coffee ($6). The food came out in about 8 minutes. The broth was quite solid, very savory and hot (temperature wise). There was a fair amount of meat and the overall quality of it tasted really well. The coffee was very solid. Sweet and strong , although it seemed that the to go cup had a bigger portion. Overall a very solid Vietnamese restaurant with good pho and coffee. I would come back again! Food(50%): 7.4 Staff/service(25%): 6.5 Value(25%): 6.5 Overall: 7.0/10

So glad the Sterling community has an awesome place for delicious Vietnamese food. This place is serving up all your Vietnamese favorites like Pho, BBH, Vermicelli, and Rice dishes. They even go above and beyond to include Vietnamese Crepes and Square Rice Noodles with Pork Sausage that is traditionally eaten at family gatherings. That's how you know this place is legit! The service is really fast and friendly and the restaurant is beautifully decorated and clean. Do yourself a favor and save the hour drive to Eden and check this place out for all your Viet cravings.

Saigon Bistro: Where Even My Inner Vietnamese Auntie Nods in Approval As a Vietnamese woman with a lifelong PhD in judging fish sauce, I don't hand out compliments (or nuoc cham recipes) easily. But Saigon Bistro? Let me tell you--it's the real deal. My husband, my daughter, and I rolled in tonight expecting dinner. We left with full bellies and mild food comas, grinning like we'd just found parking in Eden Center on a Sunday. We ordered: Bun Bo Hue - spicy, soulful, and not for the faint of heart. The broth had depth, like it had been simmering through three family secrets. Pho Nam - tender beef, clean broth, and that lovely herby finish. Not too greasy, not too light. Basically, if Goldilocks were Vietnamese, this would be her bowl. Bun Bo Nuong - grilled beef over vermicelli, perfectly charred and beautifully balanced. My daughter tried to claim it as her own but... not in this family. Decor? Lovely and modern with just the right touch of Saigon nostalgia--no plastic chairs or fluorescent lights here. Servers? Sweet, fast, and genuinely welcoming. No awkward stares when I asked for extra herbs and chili paste. This place is a solid 8.5 to 9 out of 10. Subtle, simple dishes that are still full of flavor. No MSG aftertaste, no "fusion confusion," just honest, delicious Vietnamese food. And trust me: if it passes my standards, your taste buds are in for a treat. Verdict: Would recommend. Would return. Would fight my husband for the last spring roll.

The restaurant ambience and decor even gave us fond memories of restaurants visited on our 2023 trip to Paris. The tuna tartare as a shared appetizer was delicious, as were our entrees - Trout Almondine and Duck Confit. The hardest decision of the night was actually dessert, which we would normally skip, but being our anniversary and first time at the Brasserie Royale, we indulged. The "British" (in a French restaurant?) seasonal offering of Sticky Pudding was too tempting not to try. It was excellent. The service and wine selections were equally enjoyable. It was busy on a Monday evening, so reservations are recommended. Our table for two was nestled between other small tables and it was interesting to both see and get reviews of other dishes. Overheard from the table to our right were criticisms of the squash ravioli and garlic sausage entrees. However, the table to our left was effusive about the creme brulee. We will be back. While it was busy, it wasn't absolutely slammed. Our server took five minutes to initially greet us-not a massive deal. However, when we went to order, she was unsure of what we wanted. She was clearly new because she asked for us to point on the menu with what we would like. Again, not a big deal. We sat for about 25 minutes and then she told us "it will be out any minute." About 10 more minutes passed and it came out. A 35 minute ticket time for med-rare steak and a croque madam is unacceptable. In addition, she forgot to ring up a side we asked for, which took another 7-8 minutes (even though she told us it would be out in an unrealistic 2 minutes). This experience overall was really underwhelming and a disappointment to a kid-free date with my wife. The actual food was good, per usual. While we will try Brasserie again, it was a massive shame.

We realized we were pretty casually dressed and weren't there to eat a whole lot of food. So, we simply got the Passion Fish Roll (Raw Sushi BTW), a Crispy Buttermilk Fried Calamari, a Rockfish, a side of Sweet Potato Fries and Mac & Cheese. For our drinks, got a couple of Rum & Cokes and a Shirley Temple. The ambiance was pleasant for the most part, as we enjoyed the conversations and the food when each of the plates came out. Just that the service was kind of bias and rude. We could all feel that the waitress was kind of in a bad mood, maybe expecting us to order more dishes and drinks. Anyhow, we noticed the portions were kind of on the smaller side compared to the prices. But taste-wise, everything was pretty good. The Rum and Cokes were fine, a little pricey, but decent. Another thing we observed was that the server never asked us if we wanted more refills or dessert. After she saw that we were done with our food, she simply put the check on the table and that was that. We were full, but we still wanted more bread and drinks, so not sure why she felt like we were going to leave and ready to pay when we didn't even ask for the check, yet. Kind of rude and inconsiderate of her towards the customers, no??? We had to open a new tab after paying for the main one since she thought we were going to leave right away after having our entrees...
