Bun Banh Hoi pick 2 & crab fried rice

Ate with (viet) aunties on MLK day. Casual interior, snagged an inviting booth. Service very friendly and attentive. Food was delish and pretty presentation. Bun Bo hue was tad sweet but mom happy it wasn't spicy. Good portions. Thanks, We'll be back!

The crispy eggroll (cha gio) was crispy and looks to be double fried, leading to a really crunchy outside. Good amount of filling on the inside and the fish sauce is sweet and tangy. The Chilean sea bass was super crispy with a thick crust on the top. The glass noodles looked a bit on the thin side and tasted more like vermicelli. Lovely scallions on top. The bone in short rib was filled with noodle and a good amount of meat. The broth was a bit too salty and didn't have as much meat flavor on it though. Still, it was very filling! Pretty quick and efficient staff. Nice clean location and quite minimal.

Very tasty. We got the spring rolls and the stir fried lemon grass tofu. Both had a ton of flavor. Staff was attentive and very nice. The restaurant and the restrooms were clean. I would come again

Wait a shame that this place has gone downhill since I have last been here over a year ago... the waiter we had was very friendly and the fried tofu appetizer wasn't bad. However, it took over half an hour just for the chicken glass noodle soup to come out. The soup was so bland that I had to add multiple spoons of chili sauce to give it some type of flavor. The chicken was also very dry and overcooked. The booth seats are also very loose so if you lean back at all it will move the other customers and vice versa with them bumping you back... My friend also thought her pho wasn't good at all. Just take a look around at the main demographic dining there which are mostly non-Asians. Just make the extra 20 minute drive and get way better noodle soups in Centreville.

Went here... again -- after the DC Bubble Run 5K, my friends and I were hungry and drained and I recommended this place (they've never been). They absolutely loved it! The Pho cured us and end of story, this place is great. PS: Service was great and ambiance was chill since we went at opening lol

The pho was delicious! The short rib pho had a really nice beef flavor. I got the bun Bo hue and the lemongrass in the broth really came through! They also had whipped Thai iced teas which was a fun little twist on the classic drink Our server was really nice and helpful and the interior was really spacious

One of the better Vietnamese places in the area. All the food here tastes pretty authentic and I haven't found something that I don't like. My favorite dishes are the shrimp lotus flower salad, Bo ne, and the pho is also pretty good. Service is pretty quick here too and as someone with a peanut allergy they are always very cognizant of removing peanuts from my dishes. Overall good casual Vietnamese place that doesn't require a trek to falls church!

Yelpers enticed me with their 4-5 star reviews. Located in a small strip mall, parking was easy. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had to move booths because the guy behind my seat kept butting his bench seat against my back. Staff always checked on us and food was delivered quickly. As far as food, I've had better IMHO, I am particular about my fried egg noodle with veggies and protein. The sauce didn't speak to me like other places. It was much sweeter and thicker than I'm used to eating. There was a good amount of fresh veggies and tofu. Hubby liked his massive bowl of Pho. The eggrolls were a tad greasy but they did have lots of pork filling.

This spot is nicely done, from the service, to the ambiance, to the food. My husband and I popped in before a flight and who seemed to be the owner sat us down right away, offering us water, and menus The restaurant itself was very modernly designed, and I knew the food was going to be good because a ton of Vietnamese locals flooded the place Great prices! I got the build your own pho bowl and my husband got the short ribs. The pho broth was sweeter and less peppery than I like but the flavor was still delicious, so I am keeping my review at 5 because that's just my preference in taste. The short ribs were tender and out of this world in my opinion. Amazing flavor. We also ordered spring rolls beef and shrimp and we both loved those as well We ate well and didn't leave hungry or broke. Will be coming back, thank you!

The service was super friendly, cold water, and flavorful and fresh food. I have ordered for delivery before, but eating there was a nice treat!

Our new go-to pho place. Good amount of seating and friendly wait staff. Bright and well lit space in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The crispy egg rolls are so hot and fresh and they have a hint of lemongrass that gives it a fresh touch. The pho broth is so 'clean' and refreshing. Not too murky like others and they give a good portion of meat and noodles. My favorite is the crispy egg noodles with beef and veggies. Good flavor, not too salty, and good portion

This is objectively the best viet place in nova. We ordered the lump crab fried rice, beef banana flower salad, and the chicken wings. The service was great. I remember we got pho from here in the past and that was gas too. Ambiance is bright, clean, and balanced feng shui. 10/10

I got the house special pho Dac Biet ($17) and a viet iced coffee ($6). The food came out in about 8 minutes. The broth was quite solid, very savory and hot (temperature wise). There was a fair amount of meat and the overall quality of it tasted really well. The coffee was very solid. Sweet and strong , although it seemed that the to go cup had a bigger portion. Overall a very solid Vietnamese restaurant with good pho and coffee. I would come back again! Food(50%): 7.4 Staff/service(25%): 6.5 Value(25%): 6.5 Overall: 7.0/10

Tried Chiko recently and walked away seriously impressed. We ordered the garlic shrimp dumplings,…read morespicy bulgogi stir fry, and Dolsot Bibimbap, and every dish delivered. The garlic shrimp dumplings were a great start packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The spicy bulgogi stir fry was easily one of the highlights of the meal. The flavor balance was incredible, with just the right amount of heat, and the texture of the noodles and beef made every bite satisfying. You can tell real attention goes into building flavor here. The Dolsot Bibimbap was outstanding. Serving it in the hot stone bowl made all the difference the rice continued cooking at the table and developed that crispy texture on the bottom that gives bibimbap its signature bite. The combination of vegetables, beef, egg, and crispy rice created an amazing mix of flavors and textures. Beyond the food, the service was on point from start to finish. The GM Wiley took great care of us. Friendly staff, attentive without hovering, and everything came out smoothly. Drinks were also made really well and complemented the meal perfectly. Chiko absolutely exceeded expectations. Great food, excellent service, and a place I'll definitely be coming back to.

It had been almost a year since we went to Chiko. We decided to return and try different entrees…read more Upon entering, the general manager greeted us and told us to sit anywhere we wanted. The dining room isn't very big, and since we came for an early dinner, we had our pick and chose a four-top with a view. Well... the view was basically the Paris Baguette that's across the street. The general manager came by to take our order. To drink, I had a mocktail, "house-made lime cooler," which consists of "pureed Asian pear, lime juice, and Sichuan tea." I found it to be very refreshing. My husband had a Coors Light. For my entree, I chose "Soy glazed brisket" which consists of "2Fifty Texas BBQ brisket, soy brined soft egg, furitake butter, pickled peppers, steamed rice". I liked this entree. It was mildly spiced; the pieces of brisket were properly prepared; the pickled peppers added some heat; and the soy-brined soft egg was a nice touch. The egg was soft-boiled, and the egg yolk provided a nice flavor. My husband chose "JJayJangmeon" which consists of "shrimp, scallops, roasted black bean sauce, noodles". The dish is made with wheat noodles. It arrived hot and with a nice vegetable garnish on top. The greenness of the vegetables made a nice contrast to the dark brown sauce. That brown sauce was hot, mild, and thoroughly coated the dish's ingredients. It seemed a bit unusual to see a dish with shrimp and scallops coated in a mild black bean sauce, but it worked nicely. The shrimp arrived tail-less, and the scallops were soft and not rubbery, both properly prepared. I was glad not to have to fight with the shrimp tails. All in all, we were glad we made a return visit.

The food (so yum and large portions), the service (goes above and beyond to make sure customers are…read moresatisfied), the ambiance (good music, nice decor and big windows let the light in). all of it makes this place a go to for a comforting, cozy, and warm place to have a meal at. they have online ordering although I don't order online, I prefer to go in person-- they are always on point, generous with their pho broth/meat ratio sizing and not to mention broth is all natural with no additives compared to other pho places that make their broth with added inflammatory MSG that can cause a bunch of issues like IBS and harm your gut bacteria. the owner of this place puts the customers first and support is much appreciated due to the fact it's more costly to make a batch of good broth since no MSG. I had yet to find a place that does not use this in their broth until I found this spot, it's a way better choice for my acne prone skin and I don't notice breakouts after having pho here (FINALLY!!! Yayy!!!) Talking about the meat in the pho, the meat slices are lean and do not have a bunch of fat pieces in it, which is perfect for me and makes very slice completely eatable, never have to take out any fat from the meat. Next the matcha!! its got a super nice flavor and comes in strawberry, mango, brown sugar, earth, and some others but my favorite has got to be strawberry. customizable options for a little extra for people who prefer different kinds of milk, toppings, and more. I am a 19yr old MA and this is the one place I love to come to regularly and tip the workers in my free time. although i am very busy i am always down to stop by this spot throughout the week. they include student discounts, always run deals, and have implemented loyal cards for regulars which can earn you free drinks. (they have a schedule for each day of the week which I think it super helpful in terms of saving money) they sell a bunch of cute accessories aswell, including stickers which I love to get, they are so so so cute and for cheap too-- 5 total for $1 which also comes with its own free bag. overall this small business makes me feel super welcomed whenever i go in and id recommend anyone looking for a new gen experience to check this place out. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. lots of lovely families and old folk love to come here too which i believe keeps its authenticity. The bathroom is also kept super clean and has a nice mirror in it. Their outside area is super cute too. Recommend for everyone to go check this out atleast once!!
