Before I forget, I want to post a review for this place. I came yesterday (over the weekend) as was picking up pizza in the adjoining Papa John's. Arrived early apparently, so spend twenty minutes walking around in the evening cold. I stopped by here. It's a nice small place. Part grocery store and part restaurant, offering Thai cuisine. Owner was nice to me and was chatting with me briefly. He offered to buy me a donut as he saw me eyeing it, but I ended up refusing. Nothing personal, I don't wanna be in anyone's debt. It's just ingrained in me. Anyway, I bought a chocolate donut for 3$. Apparently it's from this shop down in Vienna. It came with I think chocolate Rice Krispies or those cereal bits on top. Pretty dope. Shame I didn't get to try out anything else, maybe next time. I realized I can Thai food next time I swing by. Also Croffles that looked good, decently prized. Look forward to next time. I like to support local business in the area. read more

I was excited to hear about a new little market/restaurant opening up near me that would bring back memories of shopping with my mom. Although the selection was small, they carried items that I'm not always used to seeing at the local international markets. They carried durian and these little crispy rice cakes that I grew up eating. I had placed a takeout order online and browsed around as I was waiting to check out. The checkout process was seamless. I ordered the crabmeat Fried Rice, Kao Soi Chicken noodle soup, radna, and picked up a taro layered crepe cake in the store. Overall, everything was pretty good, but it didn't blow me away. I thought the prices were a bit steep and the food lacked the strong flavors that I'm used to. I would order the Kao Soi soup again if I were to to back. The shop is worth checking out, but I don't see myself being a regular here. read more

what a cute new Thai grocery market in Sterling! It's not a huge market, but it has your Thai essentials. tons of snacks and instant noodles. instant Thai iced tea. all the Thai sauces you could be looking for. Thai medications. Thai frozen goods. Thai homemade sausages. really, it's just a really cute Thai grocery store. but the hidden gem, is the little restaurant in the corner. you can order your meal & wait for it while you shop. currently they are offering free Thai iced tea with any $25 order placed in store. the pad Thai was ok, but the mango sticky rice was delish. the kanom Chan was yummy! nice chewy, pandas flavor, definitely try this when you go. the owner is so friendly and welcoming. highly recommend stopping by & checking this place out! read more

Would've been better with wider rice noodles. +The crab fried rice was delicious. +The kids enjoyed the chicken satay. +I watched the chef prepare our food in the wok, and she was very professional with clean execution. Never did she touch her mask or let her ladle touch a questionable surface area on the grill. She had a bandana on, to make sure hair does not fall into the food. She also had a pair of cloth pants you can only get in Thailand, which I recognized because we have similar pairs from our travels. +The pandan sticky rice and mango dessert is a must order. +The store is very clean. -Submitted an online carry out order. Drove 20 minutes. Waited another 25 minutes, as it looked like they started cooking after we arrived inside to pick up the food. -They did not have the green chili peppers in vinegar or red chili peppers in fermented fish sauce, the sauces you find in the spice tray at other Thai food establishments. -The significant other foodie likes westernized pad thai. It wasn't spicy, salty, and sweet enough for her palette. Go figure. -The summer rolls are $8 and one of them popped, spilling all of the vegetables and shrimp/pork. Overall, the food was great! I came here for the weekly Thai market and I'm so glad I did! I learned about this market from TikTok and immediately bookmarked it. The market is outdoors when it's warmer outside but for the winter, it's inside RiceBerry Market. I wasn't expecting the market to be as busy as it was! Every stall was bustling with people. Each stall was offering different food and I was so excited to try some authentic Thai food. I got the 7 piece chive dumplings and a fresh papaya salad. What I loved about this market was that most of the food is created to order. It's as fresh as it gets! The people who work here too are genuinely some of the kindest people I've ever met. Everyone was so accommodating when I told them I was vegetarian. The chive dumplings were literal perfection! The dumpling wrapper was so soft and chewy, and the chive filling was flavorful. Each bite made me want to take another one. The papaya salad was also amazing. It was made completely fresh right in front of me, and the person making it gave me so much! She even gave me a sample to taste in case I wanted it more spicy. The salad and dumplings filled my friend and I up but we couldn't leave without getting a sweet treat. We got taro pastries and I was so shocked to see that there was legit taro inside! I'm so used to taro flavored things that I realized I had never had the real deal before. The pastry was a bit dry but honestly I didn't mind it. This market is every Sunday from 10am-3:30pm, and if you're in NoVa then it's definitely worth the trip! read more

It is nice to find an authentic Thai grocery store that also serves food in Sterling, VA. It's a hole in the wall. But the amount of Thai groceries is amazing. They have all the instant Thai noodles and snacks I have seen in the DMV. There are also frozen meats and all kinds of condiments and dry noodles. My husband and I ordered the crab meat fried rice and boat noodle soup. I loved the boat noodle soup which the option of beef brisket, tendon, and meatballs were given to us. The crab meat fried rice was just ok for me. The rice was soggy in my opinion. The amount of crab meat was decent. With our two dishes, we somehow scored a free drink. We wanted to Thai ice tea but they accidentally gave us the Thai coffee. Still pretty good. read more

I am SOOOO HAPPY that I found this small Thai market/carryout. They make one of my favorite Thai Street food, Sakoo sai moo, steam tapioca balls with pork/peanut filling! Their pandan coconut sticky rice with mango was delicious . Got hubby the thai fried rice with chicken and shrimp with an order of spring rolls. The ladies there were so nice! A first time customer to this place! Ordered delivery from the Fairfield Inn & Suites at Dulles Airport. Lunch options were great and prices were not too bad, even though you still had to pay delivery + tip. But it was worth it! Food was very tasty and flavorful! RiceBerry Market is one of the best places to get Thai food if you're in Loudon County. The chef lived in Thailand (I believe) and the dishes have a really great wok flavor to them, which hard to find. The portion sizes are pretty good too! This place has a few tables, but I usually get take out since there aren't too many seats. It's more of a grab and go type of place. I highly recommend their drunken noodle, boat noodle soup, and their fried rice selection. I will be visiting often!! read more

I have heard great things about this location. Really wish I could try it!!! It's been two times now that I have attempted to give this place a try. I looked up their hours on their website and went a few hours after they are SUPPOSED to be open. Lights say Open but the door is locked and it's completely dark and empty inside. Ok, it could be a one off type of thing no worries. But I just tried to give this place another try and same thing!!! All the signs say open and nobody is inside and the doors are locked. I go to get back in my car and someone pulls up and unlocks the door and walks inside. So I get out of my car to go inside. I am greeted with a rude tone of "We are not open". I respond with "well your website says you should be and all your lights say open. So when do you open then?" She responds with "I just got here so I don't know!" Long story short, make sure you call and speak with someone before going to this place!!! Maybe if you're lucky you can eat at this place, but don't hold your breath!!!! read more

This hole-in-the wall Thai place is good but not amazing. The other reviews on this page is what enticed me to go and perhaps I just didn't order the right thing, but my experience was just OK. I go the Pad Thai, which tasted very good, but it seemed like it was on the soggier side for the me. I prefer my noodles more al-dente, so this might be personal preference. I also got the crispy chicken spring rolls, which was very good. I do want to visit again to try the Thai iced too and Laos style Papaya salad. If you're in the area, I think this is a great new local Thai spot that our community can support. read more

We visited this little Thai store in Sterling recently and had a good visit. They have a few aisles and fridges/freezers with food, and some restaurant offerings as well. We bought some fresh (non-frozen) durian fruit and ordered some pad thai, crab fried rice, and sticky rice with mango. The food is tasty, affordable, and good portions. The women working in the store were very friendly. There are a few tables to sit at and eat, but it is not like a full sit-down restaurant. It's not far from Sams club so figured we could get it for lunch. We ordered online and it was ready in 15-20 minutes! Now let's get to the food. panaang curry- THE BEST panaang curry I've had so far in this area. The flavor was on point, spice was just right. Loved the bits of peanuts in it. Portion was pretty big, I wasn't able to finish it, and should have shared lol Boat noodles, with beef and egg noodles- my husband loved this. The flavor was so good. Noodles were thin and flavorful and the meat was tender. We also got an order of spring rolls which were really tasty, I believe there were 5 or 6 and they were a decent size! Beef Pad see ew was very good. It had Chinese broccoli, carrots and baby corn. Perfect seasoning. It was still hot after our 15 min drive home. Water chestnut in coconut milk was so very good as well. The jellies were the size of raspberries. The coconut milk had a sweet and savory note to it. A container was $5, which I thought was a bit pricy. We were here on a Sunday at around 2pm and didn't see a huge selection of pre made food or heat lamp snacks. Perhaps I need to go in earlier in the day. Some of the grocery shelves were empty, particularly the snacks (First aisle when you walk in). Would come here often if it was closer to home. read more

Randomly saw this place listed online and decided to check it out while running errands in the area. Riceberry Market has a small market with Thai products available and also has a kitchen that serves up food. I was so excited to see boat noodles available since Thai places that serve boat noodles are far and few between. Had to order it along with pad Thai, Basil chicken wings, and mango sticky rice. The boat noodles were super comforting, full of fresh veggie accompaniments, and had a good amount of tender beef. You can order the boat noodles with your protein of choice. Also ordered the pad Thai with beef and the husband said it was his favorite pad Thai in the area, which was saying a lot. The portions were big and the pad Thai wasn't too sweet like other places. The Basil chicken wings were the winner for us, it was so flavorful, crispy, and had a good amount of crispy thai Basil. And of course the mango sticky rice was delicious-the fragrance of the panang was absolutely amazing and the mango was so sweet and perfectly ripe. Great small family run business. Owners (I'm assuming they were), was very friendly and nice. Not a huge grocery selection, but place was clean and organized. Try the plantain and tarp chips! We ordered food from the restaurant: Pad See Ewe (was ok), pad Thai (we loved it- not the overly sweet orange Americanized version), the Lao style papaya salad/sausage/chicken wing platter (good), crispy basil duck (very good), duck rolls (very good), and the basil wings were probably my favorite. Also got the mango sticky rice for dessert which was awesome! Wish we got photos, but was too excited to eat everything! read more

I went to this because a friend told me it was really good. I was confused about the location from the directions but realized it was closer than I thought. I met Bon, a co-owner and chef and asked for her suggestions. I ordered the crispy spring rolls (nice crunch and texture) with a zingy yummy sauce and pad thai with veggies. I ordered it mild spicy. When I got home, I devoured the spring rolls and 1/2 the Pad thai. I saved the rest for tomorrow's lunch. It was mild spicy with a nice kick with a variety of vegetables. A yummy dinner!! I bought the sesame nuts as a snack which was sweet and savory--a great combo--had to save some for later. The owners husband came in and made good conversation while my food cooked and mentioned a Thai Festival next month. I will definitely be coming back. So delicious and yummy. The shop looks kind of empty but the food is great! They have some products I've never seen anywhere and some menu items I've never seen at other Thai places nearby. The guy at the counter is super cool and polite too. So, great customer service! Great customer service and good food. What else do you need! Tried Drunken noodle. Good. Tried the So far, I've tried the drunken noodle, red curry, sa-cool, kao soi, pandan sticky rice with mango and fried banana sweet potato and the rose milk tea. I enjoyed all of them. Sa-cool was a little bit weird though. Never tried anything like it before. Drunken noodle, I asked for extra spicy. It had a decent enjoyable amount. More would've been cooler! The flavor was there though so I enjoyed it. Kao soi. I really liked. Two types of noodles with the broth! And I got extra noodles so I got a third type to eat with the leftover broth. Red curry also I liked. I'd never had red curry before and had been wanting to. Pandan sticky rice with mango. I should've asked for more coconut cream. But besides that, GOOD! Rose MILK tea.
