We ordered takeout from here after a long day shopping at the outlet mall. The drunken noodles with tofu were perfect! We ordered the green curry but looks like we got something completely different - massaman curry maybe? While the order was wrong, the curry was delicious. Service was quick - we received food in less than 10mins. The gas pumps are under renovation so don't be confused by seeing the barricades and closed signs on the pumps - the restaurant is still open. read more

Grabbed dinner with my friend tonight. She wanted thai and we had ordered out from here a couple times before. Parking in the actual lot of the business is limited. However, street parking and a nearby lot are available. The food was tasty, served hot, and was plentiful! There was a couple flies that were circulating the restaurant that were a pest. A very first visit to this Thai place in Leesburg, VA after shopping at the Leesburg Premium Outlets on 12/11/25!!! We were looking for a Thai place to eat and happened to find this restaurant on Yelp. It wasn't too far from the outlets, so decided to check it out. Finding a parking space at the gas station was a hassle since it was limited parking. Once we got inside when the place opened at 4:30 PM, we were greeted and seated nicely. Checked out the menu to see what we wanted. After a brief moment, we knew what we were going to order. Requested to have the Egg Rolls, Beef Larb Gai, a Chicken Satay, and an order of the Chicken Pad Thai. Received the Beef Salad and Egg Rolls first, which were delicious by the way! Then got the Chicken Satay with Rice and Pad Thai. To our surprise, all of the food tasted great! All very good, actually. We liked the flavor, taste and balanced seasoning. Service for dining in was exceptionally bad. Had no idea what beer they had, brought a glass with ice when asked for a glass for the beer, forgot to put in the appetizer, so it came half way through the meal...could not have been less interested in our experience at this restaurant. This restaurant is in a building shared by a gas station which has its own entrance facing a busy intersection in the downtown historical district. It has a quaint indoor seating area. I've had Thai food many times. The food here meets the standards of this type of cuisine and is very good and generously portioned. Most recently I ordered via DoorDash and had Pad Thai and it was excellent. It had a nice ratio of sauce to noodles to veggies and finely chopped peanuts. I will get two meals out of it. The food was decent, a little pricey considering this place is connected to a gas station. The waitress seemed rushed by me, although I was the only one in the restaurant. She wanted to eat and do silverware rolls. I got my food quickly however. Demoting my rating mostly because of the DISGUSTING gas station bathroom. Happen upon this place after a day of tubing and it hit the spot! We got there around 9pm (plenty or parking available) and they were offering limited entrees. I got the spicy noodles with ground chicken and extra sauce and my friend got the pad Thai with chicken. Service was quick we barely waited 10 min. We ate outside at the picnic tables off to the side of the building to enjoy the food fresh and it was delicious! 10/10 would recommend and go back when in leesburg! read more

I've been here many times over the years but this is my first review (ashamed)! 5 stars because I love the food and the service Is great. The only thing that might knock it down a bit is that it is attached to a gas station. Mind you it is attached not IN a gas station. I feel like they do a nice job making it relaxing and enjoyable to eat inside. Food quality/price/quantity ratio is spot on and I haven't had anything off the menu that wasn't good. Did takeout here. Had skipped over this place a few times before because of it being attached to a gas station. Finally got over my hang-up and so glad I did. Delicious Thai food with generous portions. Had enough left over for a full dinner the next day. Called my wife a bitch to her face. Called in well before closing asking if I could come in at 8:45 for dinner. Stated that kitchen closes at 9:10 PM. I show up at 8:35 and they share they can't serve us. Back and forth took place only for one of the workers to call my significant other a bitch. Ok, a group of us have been reviewing Thai food restaurants for years. This small gas-station food is among the best of them. My go-to dish is a peanut sauce chicken & broccoli. This was by far one of the best I've had. I even got some of the sauce just to go when we left. The service was a little slow, and yes the gas-station bathroom was disgusting. But I guess that's part of the charm? It's nice they have beer and wine as well. The chicken satay was a bit of a surprise. It's usually just some thin strips of chicken grilled. This place seems to bread and fry them. Still good but not what I was expecting. Close to old town Leesburg so it's a great spot in walking distance from all the local bars. read more

But don't judge a book by it's cover because their Thai food is pretty good, and servings don't look like a lot of first, but my friend and I were FULL by the time we finished. Definitely a hidden gem, if you're looking for affordable and yummy Thai food. The restaurant itself is pretty small and intimate, and it seems like a lot of returning customers do takeout here. There is a door from the restaurant that leads into the gas station. The service was great though! Staff is young and always making sure that my friend and I were accommodated. **Note: parking is a bit limited, but there is street parking if there's no parking at the gas station. Does not look like much when you drive by, but it is worth the stop. My boyfriend took me out on a surprise date night. It was freezing outside but once you go inside you forget the weather. It is a small restaurant joined by the gas station shop. We were greeted and seated, the noise level was not too high. Restrooms are located at the gas station shop, it is just a walk to the door and you are there. Drinks we got: Thai tea Plum wine This wine was so good we bought it at the gas stop next to them. Food Papaya salad ( this alone was a huge serving) Crying tiger One of the soups Beef noodle dish The food took some time, but when they brought it out we were so surprised by how huge the portions were. We ordered the beef & broccoli and for the price I was very disappointed to see that majority of the container was just broccoli with a few random pieces of beef thrown in. However the Pad Thai was overwhelmingly rich- very thick salty sauce which burst with flavor but quickly became too much sauce and too salty. Similarly the Papaya Salad was just "too much." WOW! Probably some of the best Thai I've ever had! Definitely plated and served the most beautifully! We came here as a large group and each ordered something different, so we could all try various items; from whole rock fish to duck to various salads, soup, rices, noodle entrées and regular Pad style entrées the food was all spectacular! Very fresh, made with fresh ingredients too! They have lots of unique items, including Thai and Laos style versions. Beef jerky was awesome, so tender and tasty! Highly recommend coming here. Disregarding the hard to find location this deserves 5 stars because this was the best beef Pad Thai I've ever had. When my boyfriend and I visited his parents and they suggested "gas station thai food" which they also described as "the best thai food", we knew we had to try it. So glad we did! We picked up satay, curry, and pad Thai and everything I tried was delicious. We did have to wait a little longer than the estimated pickup time, but it was definitely worth it. The serving size was big enough for dinner and lunch the next day. I have to admit I was intrigued about a restaurant embedded in a gas station and had read a lot about it, so I decided to go there on a recent trip to Leesburg. The food was very good - we had the pad Thai, krakow chicken, and fried rice salad. All were very good. My kids got the chicken wings and loved them. I had the pad Thai and that was pretty dye-heavy, was a lot more orange-y than expected. Still good though. The portion sizes here are MASSIVE. I would 100% recommend sharing dishes as the pad Thai I ordered last for three more meals. It is a little on the pricey side but you're getting a ton of food so it evens out. I have never experienced such unbelievable customer service at any restaurant. We wasted 30 minutes after our meal standing there as the restaurant was filling up with people dining in and picking up take-out. The waiter claimed we could only use our $30 Local Flavor certificate when the total is over $45 for dine-in as well as take-out even though the certificate did not state a minimum requirement is needed for dine-in. He says could not reach the owner and gave us the owner's number to call instead. WTF! Other than the two waiter/waitresses, the employees going in and out of the kitchen often had their cloth masks pull down to their chins. The food we ordered was very good though. The Thai Pan Seafood was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The shrimp Pad Thai was flavorful but had way way too much sauce. Definitely not coming back just for the food read more

Absolutely loved The Thai Pan and can't wait to go back!! Known as "the gas station Thai restaurant" we were very surprised when we went inside. The interior and exterior of The Thai Pan were clean and I didn't notice anything that should cause alarm (insert crying and smiling emojis). An awesome staff met us at the door, eager to take our order. The order giving process was simple and done quickly. The smells coming from the kitchen were intoxicating and we couldn't wait for our takeout order to be filled. There was not a long wait and shortly after receiving our to-go order we ran for the car and headed back to the hotel. After arriving back at the hotel we unboxed the goodness and sized up the en-thai-er situation... Yes that just happened. The food was piping hot, smelled amazing and was well prepared with fresh ingredients. We were both very happy with the food, service, price, quality and spice level (the lady and I live for spicy). The Thai Pan has started an addiction and we can't wait to come back to Leesburg for our next meal with them. Yummy yummy in our tummies. read more

I was referred here by a friend who really enjoyed it. He even went so far as to say it was his new favorite Thai restaurant. I was not so impressed. The Panang curry was mediocre but what really blew my mind was the "pad thai". It didn't resemble the delicious hot noodle street foods I've come to love. It was so sweet and overloaded with sauce that the noodles clung together in a sticky glob on your plate. Watch the Thai movie "Fire" and you will see what Thai noddle dishes should be. The server was nice and maybe the other dishes warrant some type of praise but I doubt I'll be back to find out. read more
