I have tried this dish before and we actually used the pork as a filling for soft buns with scallions. It was amazing. Another must order for me is the Taiwan style fried chicken. It is honestly one of the best. Crispy, flavorful, and very satisfying. Do not miss the string beans with low salt duck egg as well. The flavor is unique and really good. I really enjoy Taiwanese style cooking. It hits different. The flavors feel cleaner and more balanced, almost like a lighter and healthier take compared to typical Chinese dishes. These dishes definitely keep me coming back.

The won ton in chili sauce was not really one of my faves. The sauce lacked in spice but thank goodness for a side of hot chili sauce. I did enjoy my crispy beef. It was a generous portion with a tad of spice and sweet sauce. Service is always on point. The staff shares in all the service from filling our beverage glasses to clearing off the table.

Tried Chiko recently and walked away seriously impressed. We ordered the garlic shrimp dumplings,…read morespicy bulgogi stir fry, and Dolsot Bibimbap, and every dish delivered. The garlic shrimp dumplings were a great start packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The spicy bulgogi stir fry was easily one of the highlights of the meal. The flavor balance was incredible, with just the right amount of heat, and the texture of the noodles and beef made every bite satisfying. You can tell real attention goes into building flavor here. The Dolsot Bibimbap was outstanding. Serving it in the hot stone bowl made all the difference the rice continued cooking at the table and developed that crispy texture on the bottom that gives bibimbap its signature bite. The combination of vegetables, beef, egg, and crispy rice created an amazing mix of flavors and textures. Beyond the food, the service was on point from start to finish. The GM Wiley took great care of us. Friendly staff, attentive without hovering, and everything came out smoothly. Drinks were also made really well and complemented the meal perfectly. Chiko absolutely exceeded expectations. Great food, excellent service, and a place I'll definitely be coming back to.

It had been almost a year since we went to Chiko. We decided to return and try different entrees…read more Upon entering, the general manager greeted us and told us to sit anywhere we wanted. The dining room isn't very big, and since we came for an early dinner, we had our pick and chose a four-top with a view. Well... the view was basically the Paris Baguette that's across the street. The general manager came by to take our order. To drink, I had a mocktail, "house-made lime cooler," which consists of "pureed Asian pear, lime juice, and Sichuan tea." I found it to be very refreshing. My husband had a Coors Light. For my entree, I chose "Soy glazed brisket" which consists of "2Fifty Texas BBQ brisket, soy brined soft egg, furitake butter, pickled peppers, steamed rice". I liked this entree. It was mildly spiced; the pieces of brisket were properly prepared; the pickled peppers added some heat; and the soy-brined soft egg was a nice touch. The egg was soft-boiled, and the egg yolk provided a nice flavor. My husband chose "JJayJangmeon" which consists of "shrimp, scallops, roasted black bean sauce, noodles". The dish is made with wheat noodles. It arrived hot and with a nice vegetable garnish on top. The greenness of the vegetables made a nice contrast to the dark brown sauce. That brown sauce was hot, mild, and thoroughly coated the dish's ingredients. It seemed a bit unusual to see a dish with shrimp and scallops coated in a mild black bean sauce, but it worked nicely. The shrimp arrived tail-less, and the scallops were soft and not rubbery, both properly prepared. I was glad not to have to fight with the shrimp tails. All in all, we were glad we made a return visit.

This was a fun place! They have two sections to eat in, so you can choose to sit at a regular table…read moreor have the hibachi experience. It was the first time my young kids had been to a hibachi, and they loved it. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. They had it decorated beautifully. We were seated quickly and had our orders taken shortly after. The servers were friendly and entertaining. The food was delicious, reasonably priced with good sized portions. We got edamame and spring rolls for appetizers, which were yummy, and the chicken with vegetables, fried rice and noodles. Everything was great! I have a feeling we will be back again!

This place was meh. We've been here a couple of times and I think the ownership has changed…read more The service was subpar. The waitress came to check on us twice in the beginning and after our food arrived we never saw her again. It was not until 20 or 25minutes later that another waitress came by to check on us. Not sure what the hang up was as the restaurant was mostly empty. The side of noodles was weird. I was expecting asian flavors, but we got spaghetti dunked in soy sauce and covered with black pepper. This was also on the kids menu as well, my son could barely eat it due to how spicy it was. My other kid got a Ramen bowl and that was essentially the same noodles as above in a pool of chicken broth that tasted like it was dumped out of a box. It was very bad. Usually when we go to Noku in the Village, my kid devours the Ramen bowl, but this one was left untouched. The maki rolls were OK, but pricy and not worth their value. The rainbow roll, I believe, only had 4 pieces. Also, the pieces of fish on top of the rainbow were very small and underwhelming. The fact that it cost more than our usual sushi places added insult to injury. The Philli roll was more cream cheese than salmon. Finally, some minor issues that demonstrate that the staff doesnt really care: the waitress poured the beer so fast that it was 90%head, and she just moved on; and, when our sushi tray came out the wasabi and ginger were missing. In my 15+ years of eating sushi in all types of places, all over America i have never had a situation where the ginger and wasabi were left out. This was not a major issue for me as mistake happen, no big deal. However, given the poor experience this did not help the matter.
