    The check
    Jessie V.

Poor food. I ordered Magolian Beef. I was dry, and tasted like curry. I had ordered the lunch menu that came with rice, a spring roll, and a small soup. I finished the soup had a few bites off the spring roll. The price was $13.99. I only had two bites from the "Curry Magnolian Beef". When someone finally came to check on me, I explained i didnt like it, as it tasted like curry and I wasnt a fan of curry. (I believe it was the manager) he said he would give me a discount. A waiter brought me the check, for $11.12. I was charged for the meal! I was beside myself! I will never come back to this restaurant. I dont recommend it either.

I've thought about going here a long time. I finally did. It's some kind of blend of American Chinese food with a touch of Indian flair. The best thing is the price. Wow the lunches are well priced. Lunch was soup entree and egg role. The soup was fine egg role was doughy and flavorless. The entrees were ok. Nothing special. No brown rice offered. They did offer fried rice. (Boring) for free. That being said I'll try again - one more time to be sure.

The lamb sizzler was my favourite. Corn soup was decent but I expected more flavor. Did not like the Chinese bhel and the soup. I felt the soup could have been more flavourful. The Chinese bhel had a fly in it and it had to be sent back.

I ordered a pad Thai Dish via Uber Eats. The driver was on time the meal was prepared in a timely manner. However the meal itself did not taste like typical Pad Thai, which is most likely because it's Asian fusion... But it was supposed to be lamb and chicken combo. However from the pictures you can clearly see there was barely any meat in there. The serving portion was generous though, but the meat to Noodles ratio was completely off.

This was in our mind for a while. Went there on an evening. The place is not very big. The hosts and servers were friendly. The food was OK. Ordered - Chicken fried rice Chilli Chicken

Fast food Asian spot with halal meat. The portion size is HUGE. Pad Thai was yummy. The chilli was good a little soupy with dark meat and veggies but you can request white for any dish. Overall good food for takeout, you can also dine in but again very casual. The server/owner was super nice and answered all of our questions and gave us recommendations so we were grateful for that, will be returning for take out.

Been coming here for years. Never disappointed, Hot fresh and fast. I'm a big fan of the Sweet Corn Soup on winter days like this week.

The garlic shrimp dumplings were a great start packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The spicy bulgogi stir fry was easily one of the highlights of the meal. The flavor balance was incredible, with just the right amount of heat, and the texture of the noodles and beef made every bite satisfying. You can tell real attention goes into building flavor here. The Dolsot Bibimbap was outstanding. Serving it in the hot stone bowl made all the difference the rice continued cooking at the table and developed that crispy texture on the bottom that gives bibimbap its signature bite. The combination of vegetables, beef, egg, and crispy rice created an amazing mix of flavors and textures. Beyond the food, the service was on point from start to finish. The GM Wiley took great care of us. Friendly staff, attentive without hovering, and everything came out smoothly. Drinks were also made really well and complemented the meal perfectly. Chiko absolutely exceeded expectations. Great food, excellent service, and a place I'll definitely be coming back to.

It had been almost a year since we went to Chiko. We decided to return and try different entrees…read more Upon entering, the general manager greeted us and told us to sit anywhere we wanted. The dining room isn't very big, and since we came for an early dinner, we had our pick and chose a four-top with a view. Well... the view was basically the Paris Baguette that's across the street. The general manager came by to take our order. To drink, I had a mocktail, "house-made lime cooler," which consists of "pureed Asian pear, lime juice, and Sichuan tea." I found it to be very refreshing. My husband had a Coors Light. For my entree, I chose "Soy glazed brisket" which consists of "2Fifty Texas BBQ brisket, soy brined soft egg, furitake butter, pickled peppers, steamed rice". I liked this entree. It was mildly spiced; the pieces of brisket were properly prepared; the pickled peppers added some heat; and the soy-brined soft egg was a nice touch. The egg was soft-boiled, and the egg yolk provided a nice flavor. My husband chose "JJayJangmeon" which consists of "shrimp, scallops, roasted black bean sauce, noodles". The dish is made with wheat noodles. It arrived hot and with a nice vegetable garnish on top. The greenness of the vegetables made a nice contrast to the dark brown sauce. That brown sauce was hot, mild, and thoroughly coated the dish's ingredients. It seemed a bit unusual to see a dish with shrimp and scallops coated in a mild black bean sauce, but it worked nicely. The shrimp arrived tail-less, and the scallops were soft and not rubbery, both properly prepared. I was glad not to have to fight with the shrimp tails. All in all, we were glad we made a return visit.

It was the first time my young kids had been to a hibachi, and they loved it. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. They had it decorated beautifully. We were seated quickly and had our orders taken shortly after. The servers were friendly and entertaining. The food was delicious, reasonably priced with good sized portions. We got edamame and spring rolls for appetizers, which were yummy, and the chicken with vegetables, fried rice and noodles. Everything was great! I have a feeling we will be back again!

This place was meh. We've been here a couple of times and I think the ownership has changed…read more The service was subpar. The waitress came to check on us twice in the beginning and after our food arrived we never saw her again. It was not until 20 or 25minutes later that another waitress came by to check on us. Not sure what the hang up was as the restaurant was mostly empty. The side of noodles was weird. I was expecting asian flavors, but we got spaghetti dunked in soy sauce and covered with black pepper. This was also on the kids menu as well, my son could barely eat it due to how spicy it was. My other kid got a Ramen bowl and that was essentially the same noodles as above in a pool of chicken broth that tasted like it was dumped out of a box. It was very bad. Usually when we go to Noku in the Village, my kid devours the Ramen bowl, but this one was left untouched. The maki rolls were OK, but pricy and not worth their value. The rainbow roll, I believe, only had 4 pieces. Also, the pieces of fish on top of the rainbow were very small and underwhelming. The fact that it cost more than our usual sushi places added insult to injury. The Philli roll was more cream cheese than salmon. Finally, some minor issues that demonstrate that the staff doesnt really care: the waitress poured the beer so fast that it was 90%head, and she just moved on; and, when our sushi tray came out the wasabi and ginger were missing. In my 15+ years of eating sushi in all types of places, all over America i have never had a situation where the ginger and wasabi were left out. This was not a major issue for me as mistake happen, no big deal. However, given the poor experience this did not help the matter.
